hey, everyone.
starting now, i’m going on a hiatus of sorts. i’m hoping it will only be for a few days, but it might be a few weeks. here’s why:
i currently have no internet access at home or on my phone, simply because my family can’t afford either at the moment. i’m brazilian, and you’ve probably heard of how fucked up things are around here as of late. my parents work for the government, and haven’t been properly paid in months.
i realize this might look like a sob story meant to touch your heart or some other sentimental bullshit, but i promise it’s not. i’m all right, kiddos. i’m simply sorting through my priorities– and honestly, putting food on the table and paying rent is a bit higher on my list than checking my notifications on facebook and roleplaying. i recently got myself a nice lil’ internship that pays me more than enough to get by, but considering i just started there and will get paid for a month’s work rather than weekly, it’s gonna be a little while– namely a few weeks– before i get my hands on any money. there is a chance that i’ll be able to come back sooner, though, considering that the state government is supposed to pay the rest of my parents’ salary next week.
i’ll post updates as often as i can. if you’d rather drop our threads than wait for my replies, i’ll be a little disappointed, but i’ll understand. all you have to do is give me a heads up.
hopefully i’ll be back soon, with a lot less worry on my shoulders and a little more free time and disposition. i’m sorry for this long ass post, by the way. i’ll miss you guys!
