I want to be a fashion photographer but I don't know where to start. Do you know anything about that? Can you give me some tips?

Well I’m not a fashion photographer but from what I know…

You need a good quality digital camera. If you’re really serious about this then it would be good to invest into a good quality camera. Read some reviews to find the one best for you.

Then you need to practice as much as possible. Take pictures of friends,family, outside anything that takes your fancy. Experiment to see how to get the perfect picture.

Any pictures you don’t like, study them and find out why you don’t like them. See why they went wrong and improve yourself from there.

Take any work you are given, even if its not what you want. All experience is good. Even working for free will get you good experience.

Then build an online presence. Tumblr is a great place to put all your pictures!
