Show The Art of Costume Blogcast, Ep Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story with Costume Designers Lyn Paolo and Laura Frecon - Jul 25, 2023
“We got to create a formula for how they would engage with the Morpho, their life potential, and where it took them. That was a really fun way to explore each character. All of the characters evolve in different ways at different times.”

Costume Designer Luis Sequeira Dives Into the Dark and Twisted Costumes of Guillermo del Toro’s Series Cabinet of Curiosities
“It was eight different films! There were eight distinct time periods, moods, textures, and different versions of storytelling. So it was tricky. Luckily we had a lot of the scripts early. So we were able to do the research because the basis of everything is the research. I had a great crew, and we just plowed through it because we just had to. It was trial by fire.”

“He couldn’t be dressed like an alien. It needed to be in the vocabulary of the clothes that he actually wore. The challenge was how do you make sure that everyone knew what a punk he was and how threatening he was to the parental generation. He expressed himself through clothes and was really a tinder strike for youth culture.” - Elvis Costume Designer, Catherine Martin
