Hello, anon. If you're shy and feeling scared, you should know that we are all friendly people- we don't bite! The first step is coming off anon, and just talking to us. We will help you with anything you want.
-The AU-
This is an open, post-game Homestuck AU. This AU was started more to be a community, a way for people to get together to have someone to play with and support of other players. We wanted to encourage group play and community. A place where you can be with others and still be able to interact with those not in our AU. We are not closed, we do not tell people not to form relationships outside the AU. We just wanted to be able to have fun and still have people that you can have a connection with to start. To help in that problem many have of ‘how do I find people to play with?’
-The World-
Haven is a wild and tropical world, safe in it’s lack of society, but dangerous as any deserted world is. It had a range of environments, of course, but the tropical world is what most will see at first glance.
-The Main Timeline-
This is a timeline were the game has ended. And all restarted. Dead characters were once again alive. All people that existed during and some even before the game are around. But Alternia is gone.
Instead there is Haven. It is a wild and tropical world. There is still a range of environs but a good portion is tropical.
This world is both safer, and not as safe as Alternia once was. There is a wide mix of things, some of it feels human some of it feels like the trolls homeworld.
But this is the Restart Center. Where characters who once were dead have found themselves appearing. Even the humans. Though Earth did restart (likely because unlike Alternia is existed in game for a time.) and most the humans went back to their homes.
Then slowly others began to wander off. Until all that remained upon Haven was Karkat.
He spent several sweeps alone. Building and waiting for a time when his friends would return.
And now, they are! It has been slow, he’s made new friends, a new family, and his friends, ancestors, and even the Dancestors have slowly been appearing again. Either as part of the belated ‘restarts’ or have come wandering back in like the original 12 and the beta Kids.
-The People-
All fandoms are welcome to join- the exception being Creepypasta. The only thing we ask is that your character be alive. Since this AU is set after the game, there are no dreambubble. If your character is not a part of the Timeline but they wish to live on planet, and they are dead, one of our god characters will arrange to revive you on-planet.

Havenroots is considering becoming a hub for multiple timelines.
Much like a wagon wheel, Haven is the central hub, and the timelines coming in are the spokes. The outer rim of the wheel is their shared beginning- being created by someone!
All of these timelines- from all sorts of fandoms- arrive in different places on Haven, each with their own settlement, each initially unaware that there are other people out there in other villages. Some, like Havenroots, have characters finding the planet or returning to life there. Some, like Beforus Won (a potential candidate for a timeline using Haven as a landing point), have Haven as their prize for winning the game.
This is a way to include more people, have more fun, and really begin to build up Haven. It would offer an explanation for some of the mysteries surrounding Haven, offer a new home to other AUs with different takes who are starting to die, and give opportunities to have more overreaching plots.

do I have to have a homestuck character?
As part of our AU? No, you don't have to be homestuck. We have had an invader Zim here, and OCs and even homestuck that's non-AU and are residences. So, you can be anything you want, we've even had a Doctor Who (10th) who had expressed an interest in joining, so if you would like to join up and play with our AU long as you can abide by the rules we would be delighted to have you here!

I have a couple three questions. 1) Not meaning to be dense, but where is the actual roleplaying done? Is there a chat or a forum or what? 2) As far as canon character claims, Sollux appears open on the timeline character part of the directory; however, there is a Sollux as a permanent resident. Is Sollux still a claimable character? 3) If I want to play more than one character. Do I make a page for each character on my blog? Thanks for your time!

1. It's done on tumblr, definitely, through asks and reblogs (Not really fanmail), though many of us also have skype
2. Sollux is a resident, but he's a kid, and a Doomed Timeline char, thus not main Haven timeline, so Sollux is definitely open
3. For ease of interaction, it's generally best to have a blog for the character/characters you want to play
