One of my friends ask me to go with them to get check because he was scared to go by himself and he just wanted us both to check even though I knew I was good. I go in and say yeah I want to get tested and the nurse was like âyeah sure I just need you to sign this stuff and then we can startâ. I signed the form for the appointment and she started asking me questions. She asked if I was sexually active and I said yes. She then said I will need to take a pregnancy test. I stopped her and said âoh no need, I know Iâm not pregnant, Iâm gayâ and she was like âitâs requiredâ and I was getting a little heated because I was like âlmao Iâm not pregnant nor will I ever beâ and then she was like âuh huh, sureâ. So I took the stop test and she came back and was like âgood news, it came back negativeâ and I was like âI WONDER WHY, THANK GOD IM NOT THE VIRGIN MARYâ and we continued the conversation. She then asked why Iâm there and I repeated that I wanted to get test for any sexually transmitted disease that I can contact. She was confused and asked me again if Iâve had sex and I said,âyes but with a girl, not a guyâ she then told me that I couldnât get tested for anything unless I had been penetrated by a penis.
Okay so my mom is a doctor and Iâve well aware of stdâs transmitted from males to females but just because itâs two females, doesnât mean you canât get any type of std. I was then refused service to get tested and I also had to pay for the stupid fucking pregnancy test that I knew was going to be negative.
