Favorite Destination
Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it? Iāve been to many places in my lifetime, and many have stayed in my mind and in my memory forever. We tend to bring up the latest place we have visited, because it is the freshest in our minds, so I think in my case to mention Paris or Oxford England, both visited earlier this year for instance, as my favorite places, would probably notā¦
What is one thing you would change about yourself? I would like to stop worrying about loved ones all the time, especially when things donāt go according to expectations. Iād like to be more trusting and to stop catastrophizing all the time. I guess it boils down to trusting in life and releasing control. Thatās what Iād like to change about myself!š§š»āāļø

Iāve recently acquired an āantiqueā Bernina. It is a model 830, built in Switzerland, so itās the āreal thing!ā It is sturdily built, and it has a metal casing. It is a beaut.

String Pieced Quilt
This is one of my favorite techniques for piecing a quilt. I love it because it requires working with mostly scraps, of which I always have a large supply. Iāve probably said this before, but Iāll say it again: I HATE TO THROW AWAY FABRIC! So I save every little piece of scrap I have left from any project, large and small.
