A story about a family of three: a father, a child, and their younger sibling.

I thought this kind of concept would be interesting to explore, heavily inspired by the Gutterman's poem. The idea centers on a Gutterman becoming acquainted with an orphaned teen on the battlefield who is looking for their father, a war prisoner. The twist is that, this Gutterman is being fueled by the body of that child's father, so all its feelings and possessiveness over the child is due to the subconscious influence of the father, trying to protect his child. This becomes a source of conflict for the Gutterman, who becomes unsure of what feelings are its own, and feels guilt that it has basically taken away this child's "mother" for it to be given life. This can be akin to the trope where a child is blamed by their family for "taking away their mother's life".

Nobody truly knows what exactly a Primordial is.

Only a few sightings have ever been documented, though their presence can be traced all through Terraria’s history. Some believe they are fallen angels, cast down from heaven to roam the earth. Though no evidence points to them being the work of a God. Others claim that they are ancient spirits of fallen beasts, though nothing points to that being true either.

Whatever they are, they are certainly one of the most enigmatic and mysterious aspects of this world. Each known sighting is nowhere near a specific date, they vary from decades to hundreds of years ago. It appears these entities have always been here, even during the golden age of dragons, and possibly even before that point. So if their appearance is so abundant through these olden stories and myths, why are so little of them seen now?

Whatever. This world has greater conflicts than just worrying about these things. After all, they aren’t anymore special than our great deities…

…right?
