He frowned in annoyance. ”Do I smell like a fucking human to you? I’m a werewolf, princess.”
She smiled. "You.. really? Do you have a pack?"

Alekzander looked her up and down, only seeing her heat signature and the pounding of her heart within her chest. Even from the heat signature alone, he could see amazing beauty in her. A wicked smile grew on his face as his fangs jutted out farther from his jaw. He flicked his eyes up and then back at her, the black retreating from his eyes and his vision settling on her true beauty and form. Her skin had gone pail from obvious fear and that made him feel lighter inside, almost a giddiness.
As much as he just so simply wanted to drain her in mere seconds, this area was new and uncharted to him and the promise of finding a new, unheard of feeding ground made him feel almost too happy to bear. He stepped closer, closing the gap between them, his icy fingertips trailing down the smooth skin of her cheek. “Where are you from?” He asked in that same, low and guttural voice, speaking straight into her head with the sound of a choir of voices.
His touch made her uncomfortable and she shied away from it. She wasn't so much scared that she didn't know what he was or what would happen. She was afraid because she did know. And her last encounter with a vampire nearly killed her. She felt more alone now than ever as she looked up at the man with the cold skin, his touch giving her shivers. "N-Nevada." She internally cursed at herself for stuttering, for showing her fear. Even though her entire body was shaking, she wanted to look brave. "Get away from me." She said through gritted teeth.
She was stuck now, though. Backed up against the tree with the vampire in front of her. She frantically tried to come up with a way to get herself out of this situation. Even if it were temporary. She could find a pack to protect her, she just needed to get away now. But how? She looked up, just under his jaw, seeing the sack where his venom was held and waited, hoping she could reach it and run at the right time.

It wasn’t her voice that he heard first, letting him know he was no longer alone in the forest. No, it was a gentle and rhythmic tome. A soft but very fast beat, one that he had heard many times before and had become very fond and loving of. It was the sound of panic for him. He honed in on the noise, using his extra-strength sensory to find her, making his way through the forest in no time flat. Then he saw the faint, white silhouette through the trees. He could see the fast blip that the heart made in the center of the chest, going from a bright white to black in fractions of a second. The air around her head was filled with a light haze of grey, her breath hot against the night.
He quickly made his way even closer, creeping now as he had perfected over the many decades. He clung to a tree, climbing up it quickly before jumping nearly a full twenty feet to the next tree, flying over her head with cat-like agility. The thrumming sound of her heart was blindingly loud inside his mind, driving him nearly crazy as the saliva dripping from his mouth. His specialized teeth slid out from above his regular teeth, pushing them back. His tongue pulled back, exposing his small fang that dropped from his upper palette. Now was the time. He dropped down quickly behind her, his breath not even changing the cool temperature of the air around him. “Hello.” He said in a low, cold and ominous growl, emitting from deep down in his throat.
She gasped and stepped forward, her eyes wide and the shock of the situation leaving her near breathless. She had seen a vampire before, and it wasn't a site she had wanted to see again. They scared her down to the bone. The thought that they could drain her in a matter of seconds only amplified that fear. She looked to his teeth and then to his dark and soulless eyes. She backed up further till she hit a tree. "Fuck fuck fuck." She gripped her nails into the damp bark, the hairs on her skin rising as she looked over at him, shaking with fear. She knew she would never be able to run fast enough. Her pack wasn't there to save her. Had she really made it this far just to be killed by a vampire?
I can hear you.
He snorted a quick laugh. “I wonder why you would ever wonder that.”
"Whatever.. some people are just loners."

He looked around the cold and empty woods with a deep and undeniable lusting for sustenance. His mouth watered as he made his way deeper into the forest, having gotten lost on his latest drunken tirade. The people at the party would surely be asking questions about his disappearance by now but their inquisitions about his life never mattered to him. Whether it be about his abnormal sleeping patterns or his unusual pallor, he didn’t care. Then, as if something from a dream, he saw the first of the dim lights far through the misting of the forest. His pace quickened as he noticed the lights growing larger and more numerous. “Hello?!” He called out, his mouth literally dripping with salvation and his eyes darkening in the blood-lusted craze.
Hayden had finally made it to Alcatraz and even met a few wolves. It wasn't her pack, but it was a pack. And that's all that mattered at the moment. She had heard that the owner of the pack lived at the bar so she made her way through the forest to find it, quickly getting lost. After nearly an hour of stumbling through the forest she saw lights, thinking she was close to safety now. She looked around when she heard the voice echo. "I... is someone there?"
Why would anyone eat these?
Yeah, it a lemon and its very sour. Why?
I.. I can't remember the last time I ate something.
I can hear you.
"I can’t come out… because I’m not gay.”
She narrowed her eyes. "What are you? Human?"
I can hear you.
"Oh wow." Milly said while backing up. "I… I was just playing hide and seek with my friend."
She cocked a curious brow. "Who are you?"
She scrambled and stood up. “You want to play with me?” She asked, her eyes wide in question.
She looked around awkwardly. "I.. yeah, sure. What did you want to play?"
I can hear you.
He nodded. “Oh… Yeah definitely.”
She frowned. "I sense sarcasm."
Why would anyone eat these?
They taste terrible.
Is that... food?
I can hear you.
He frowned. “But what is so great about a pack?”
"A pack is family. Something to live for."
I can hear you.
He laughed and shook his head. “You… I have a feeling it might be better to stay alone… At least around here. Then again, I don’t know you or this place.”
"I feel lost without my pack."
I can hear you.
He frowned. “Why would you even want that?”
"Because I want to be part of a pack again." She said sadly.
I can hear you.
He shrugged and shook his head. “It definitely smells like there are more, but I can’t be sure.”
She smiled. "I hope there is... maybe I can find a pack."
I can hear you.
He shook his head. “No. I’m a loner. By preference.”
She sighed. "Is there any other wolves?"
I can hear you.
He nodded and smiled as he pulled back slightly. “I’m Jer.”
She blushed and looked down. "Do you have a pack?"
