Hey everyone! Iâm feeling a bit better so Iâm going to try to get all my replies done tonight. If youâd like a starter for either Ted or George hit me up!Â
Task 003
Name: Addie Any nicknames: Addie is a nickname but I donât think Iâve really gone by anything else online Age: 21 Characters + faceclaims:  Ted Tonks (sam claflin)  and George Weasley (cameron monaghan) If you could pick an ooc faceclaim, who would you pick:  Iâve been told I look most like Mae Whitman? So probably her. Hogwarts house: I am a Ravenclaw which is Ironic seeing as I do not play one. Patronus: I was told it was a cat and I believe it. What you think your favorite class would be if you could attend Hogwarts: Knowing me I would probably like a history of magic, because I really enjoy history. Favorite Harry Potter character: Probably Luna. Although I also have to put in my boy Neville because I love him and I will talk about him all the time.  Least favorite Harry Potter character: I know this probably not common (or maybe it is I donât know)  but I still didnât like Snape even at the end. I think that had to do mostly with people making him into something heâs not. Like As a character in the story I didnât mind him, but I think people excuse a lot of his actions and I donât like that at all. Top three ships in the series: Itâs again going to sound weird but I donât think I have any top ships. If I were to pick I think it would be Luna and Neville, Hermione and Ron, and  James and Lily.  However I was never too fussed if they didnât end up together
Favorite friendships in the series: Literally the golden Trio made me so happy. I also really Like Lunaâs friendship with Ginny and Neville. And basically just the kids being friends together makes me happy.
Other characters that you wrote in the universe apart from the ones youâre writing right now: I havenât actually! This is my first time writing for Harry potter.Â
Favorite book series other than HP: I reed too much, but I really liked Scott westerfeldâs leviathan series, as well as LJ Smithâs Nightworld series as a kid. I also really enjoyed the Mortal Instrument series. I also absolutely adored the Artemis Fowl series and I still have it as my background. Â Iâm going to forget most of them but those are a few.Â
Favorite film: I watch a lot of movies. Like Iâm going to have to give you a list if anything, and I watch  old ass movies. But if my friends were to describe me the two movies that would probably do that is Bill and Tedâs Excellent Adventure and Men in Black.
Favorite novel: My favorite book is Matilda by Road Dahl. Favorite TV series: I loved Dollhouse and I keep re watching the old Twilight Zone episodes. I also loved Firefly and Warehouse Thirteen. Currently I donât watch a lot of tv, but I am following Rick and Morty. Other universes that you wrote characters in and which ones (if any):
When I first started out I wrote a lot of myth universes Iâve played Athena, Hermes, the Morrigan, and Horus .  Iâve also written people in DC rps, but they were OCâs.  Iâve written Alice from Alice in wonderland. Iâve also written Spencer Reed from Criminal Minds. I think that would be all?
Hey guys so it looks like I got an ear infection, so replies are coming but I might be a little slow.Â
thatparkinsongirl:
It was a relief when he looked away from her to her file. The placid arrangement of her face would not stand up to much scrutiny, especially when speaking of Draco. The last couple of days had been a whirlwind of lawyers, of carefully crafted responses, of strategic conversations with Rita Skeeter. At least, Draco had left her with quite a bit to distract herself with. There was nothing else at night to do but wonder where he was though, if he was managing to hold onto himself.Â
Yes. Of course I am,â she snapped. Pansy released a slow breath, shoulders sagging for only a moment, before she straightened back to her full height. âThat was uncalled for. Itâs just the Ministry wonât tell us a thing. For all we know theyâve had him kissed already and plan to tell us it was just a horrible accident.â She huffed. âCorrupt fools.â
She nodded as he went to get the potion. She was glad it had worked, predictable really. It was easier to tell the bit of truth she was willing to give then wait for him to ask his own questions, questions she might not be able to answer correctly.Â
She snorted a bit at his comment. It probably wouldnât do much to convince of her mental health if she told him she could hardly speak to someone she trusted, considering the only person she truly, fully trusted was currently locked away. âI appreciate that but Iâm fine. Iâll be even better when Iâm not so tired and can think more clearly.â
Her head jerked back towards him at his muttered comments. Pansy wasnât who he thought she was. She didnât have scars-not like Draco, or Ginny, like Longbottom, not really.Â
He didnât flinch at the otherâs outbursts, as he honestly would be surprised if she didnât. Instead he nodded slightly.
âYouâre fine, - and if it makes you feel any better I donât think they have.â He was in a legal grey area after all. He was told he couldnât discuss what they had done to Draco, or why he had been there. However they hadnât in any of the legal work said he couldnât say that the boy was fine.Â
He sighed slightly turning back around. He looked at the other for a moment before saying quietly.Â
âHeâs not - At least unless his status has change he is still in control of his soul. I canât give you anything other than that. The potion wonât give you a sound mind, but I hope that - it at least give you some peace no matter how small it is.âÂ
hergrnger:
She chuckled lightly at his response. âSeeing as you are young right now, I will go with one or two years.â The girl knew very well that the currently twenty-one year old wouldâve been more than double her age in her time.
Tonks. It didnât take long for her to figure out whose parent he was and him not knowing his child most likely also included not knowing that she had died in the war a year ago. Hermione felt sympathy towards him. She totally understood that Ted didnât want to be disappointed by his future, since the girl had stopped investigating about her own as soon as she found out about her two children herself. âDo you⊠Do you want to know anything about your child? I mean, I completely understand if you say no, but I canât tell you that much, probably just⊠their name and what they were like, you know?â she carefully said, avoiding using specific pronouns in case he didnât want to know anything about his daughter at all.
âThat makes you one of few.â she jokingly replied.
âFair enough. Although I must admit my bones have to be at least eighty.âÂ
He hesitated for a moment. One because the younger had told him he had a child, and two that if he had one they werenât here. Still the usually strong natured man nodded slightly.Â
âI - honestly didnât think Iâd ever have a child. Not that I didnât want them mind you - just I suppose itâs complicated.  I thought it was confirmed when I got here that I hadnât. If itâs not to much to ask - could you tell me about them?â He wanted to know about them, not what had happened to them. That might kill him after all.  Had he been a good father? He could already guess their mother, after all Ted could only imagine one person that could be their mother.
Had their child - after all they would bee a half-blood. Did they despise him terribly? Those thoughts racked through his brain he almost missed her last point.
He chuckled slightly at the thought. âI suppose.âÂ
dracomalfcy:
Just because was starting to look like his mother, or like all of the Blacks for that matter, didnât mean that Ted would be able to see that, or so he supposed. He looked like his father. It was a fact in life, something he had always known. He took after his father, too. The violent tendencies, sharp edges, self preservation first, always. Intelligence ran in both families. It was the desire to save the people you love, to be with them, that made him act like his mother. Unfortunately that was what drove him nowadays. And unfortunately he was growing up and starting to look more like the Blacks. âI donât think you know either one of them well enough to be making any such observations,â Draco replied calmly, undertone matter-of-fact, almost polite. It was clear enough that he didnât think Ted should say or think about any such thing. What did he know about Dracoâs family? What did anyone? What did he, even, nowadays? There was no family, no parents, no nothing. He just looked like himself now. When Ted mentioned they didnât want him to heal Draco fully, the remark was met with a roll of his eyes. The Ministry still thought they were winning the game. Draco still thought they were being very cute about it. Didnât they know better? The truth would come out. He was just an easy scapegoat that they wanted to blame. It would be full circle once more. The Ministry is panicking and has no clue what theyâre doing, just like when the Dark Lord reappeared. Of course Ted didnât get to have a proper look at the file either. That thing was too damn long for anyone to read without falling asleep anyway. He didnât say a word on neither one of those things. He just stood as Ted did whatever it was what he was doing, because Draco didnât recognize a thing. Ted may as well be busy trying to kill him; he wouldnât see the difference. Draco simply took what Ted called pain killers, shrugged his shoulders on the remark that there was no water and simply swallowed. It wasnât until the healer made a wrong assumption that he opened his mouth again. âAnd thatâs where youâre wrong. Make sure to leave scars.â He was a Slytherin and he was pragmatic. Everything was a means to an end nowadays. He wanted the scars so he had some proof that this actually happened. He was a walking map of scars already anyway, but that was in his file and wasnât something that Ted knew. Extending his arm for Ted to clean, he leaned back against the wall and waited with his eyes closed, listening. âYou are the reason sheâs going to be disinherited. At least thatâs what happened when the time travel incident didnât happen. How do you live with that?â Ted was the reason that Andromeda, in the future Draco knew, had no contact with any of her family members. That must have been hard for someone who comes from a family that values family so much. It had always been Dracoâs mother Narcissaâs most important thing to take care of and she always did. âIt matters. The pureblood thing. There are two wars fought over the pureblood thing. Many people died, were forced to fight. It may be the reason why Iâm here. I am the pureblood in the situation and thatâs why itâs easy to blame me for this. The Ministry should have done something about the pureblood thing right after the first war, but they didnât. And now weâre here.â It all came down to blood. As easy at that. Granger was âthe most brightest witch of her ageâ because people were so surprised she was so smart because she was a muggleborn.  She was smart despite of her blood status. And the Weasleys were always going to be accepted despite of being poor, because of their blood. This whole society was all about blood and he seemed to be the only one aware of it. Except that he, apparently, killed his best friendâs father. âWhen I was younger, I read Shakespeare. Crazy pureblood upbringing. Anyway, he says hell is empty; all devils are here in the Tempest, somewhere in the beginning. And I didnât understand it, at first.â But now he did. Â
Ted was quite as the other talked about not really knowing his parents. After all he supposed it true. The people he knew would grow into being the boyâs parents but perhaps they were different then he knew them to be.
Instead he focused at the task at hand getting out cleaner from his kit and artfully ignoring the want for scars. After all he figured the boy already had enough on his heart.
He paused for a moment when he continued to speak, wanting to be thoughtful in his reply. After all he didnât think the other had malicious intent. He gave a little shake of his head.
âI think you are asking the wrong person. In my time period she was still very much apart of her family. But I suppose you are asking how I live with the fact that I will have been the reason.â He looked down for a minute before grabbing gauze.
âI never made her choose I suppose. Iâve always known it could be a possibility but deep down I always thought they couldnât abandon her. In the same vein I was as kind as I could be to her family, as I try to be to anyone. If they took her out of their lives it was their choice, and if she chose me then that was hers as well. It doesnât take away the guilt I suppose, but it at leasts gives understanding.â
He listened to Draco for a moment before shaking his head.
âIâm not saying that blood hasnât been at the middle of wars, Draco. I said that blood didnât matter. I have seen brilliant people that were all sorts of walks of life. From purebloods to I suppose what you would call me. If I had lived my life to please those who called my blood dirt, then I would never have been a wizard. The distinction  was just the passing of hate, and these wars were fought because of them. Blood should have never been a measure but ignorance and fear made it so.â
He looked at the boy, because really that was what Draco was. Behind everything he was still so young. To young to have fought this battle. Merlin he wasnât much older then then him and he might never understand that pain.
âWe live in spite of labels, not because of them. Andie isnât evil because of her background, her blood and just because people were scared of her family. I refuse to think that way. Your house doesnât dictate your goodness - itâs your actions. One act of good is more than most can say theyâve done and blood canât dictate that. â
hey friends, Iâve been coming down with something so Iâve tried to do some replies but Iâve had to stop to get some rest. Expect more of  them tomorrow!Â
ginevraxweasleyy:
âNever fails,â Ginny agreed with a shake of her head. Never had she gotten hurt during Quidditch, but by God she would almost receive a concussion just by running into someone while walking in the corridors. Lucky had a funny way of showing itself sometimes. âWell, you should definitely tell me that story when you can,â the redhead spoke with a small smile, âI would love to hear about someone else getting hurt when they least expect it so I donât feel as bad about doing it.â
Once again waving her hand to let him know that this all wasnât a big deal, she readjusted her bag on her shoulder and replied, âIâm fine I promise. If I do have a concussion, which I donât think I do, Iâll just go to the Hospital Wing. Iâm sure Madame Pompfrey or Andromeda could whip up some kind of potion to relieve the injury?â He had said he was a healer, so he must know who either of matrons were here at Hogwarts.Â
âOh, donât say things like that about yourself,â she lightly chided him, meanwhile looking around her feet to also look if she had dropped something. Seemed nothing had fallen out. âI donât think Iâm missing anything. Thank you, though, for making sure,â looking up at him, she gave him a sort of guilty expression that was mixed with a sheepish grin, âIâm Ginny by the way. Seems a bit rude to run into a stranger and not introduce myself.â
âIâll count you down for a story then. And good. Both of those healers are extraordinary. So you should be in good hands.âHe nodded slightly at the idea of a potion. After all Andie at least could help her with that. Not that he didnât think Pompfrey could, she was extraordinary but Andie had to help him often as a youth, when he was too embarrassed to go to the hospital wing.Â
He shook his head slightly at her admonishment. âOh donât worry what I lack in cleverness I more than makeup for in other qualities.âÂ
He gave a laugh realizing that he hadnât introduced himself. âI am also guilty in that respect. Iâm Ted, Ted Tonks. It was nice to meet you Ginny even if it was like this.âÂ
hergrnger:
Hermione hadnât really seen anyone (well, at least in a while) that was as talkative as the man in front of her. Strangely enough, she wasnât as baffled when someone else but her friends approached her, as she wouldâve been at the beginning of this school year.
Her lips formed a little smile when she noticed, that Ted couldnât quite figure out where to put her name. It felt like a fresh breath of air when someone didnât know everything about her and her involvement in the war.
She grinned at his words. âWell, one or two years donât really make a difference, donât you think so?â the girlâs lips formed a little smile.
âMaybe your kids are really one of my friends. What are their names?â Hermione knew the names of most of her friends parents, so it was hardly possible that he was one of them. She asked for the sake of the conversation though, since she didnât want to make the other feel unwelcome.
âOh, donât worry. Itâs nice to talk to people that arenât only talking about the recent.. letâs say occurrences.â she offered Ted a small smile.
He gave a boisterous laugh. âOne or two years, yes lets leave it at that. Some of the people here could be grandchildren of people I went to school with - or nearly. Itâs enough to turn a man grey at twenty.âÂ
He shook his head slightly at the question. âHave to admit I havenât really looked into it. See my - well the person I love. Itâs a complicated mess I guess. I didnât want to know if we ended up together or not. But seeing as the kid might have my last name I can at least tell you that. You wouldnât necessarily need to know the mum right? My last name is Tonks, and seeing as Iâm probably the only one that could have been their dad as I am, well you know.â He drifted off not really knowing how to say muggle born. It was something that he had grown up not really professing much.Â
His smile went back to his face as he took a sip of his juice.Â
âExactly, I try not to dwell on it to much especially with people I donât even know yet. âÂ
thatparkinsongirl:
Pansy nodded. It was as she expected; there would be no getting out of this conversation. Earlier she considered making it herself but Slughorn was stingy with his ingredients and frankly she was tired enough that she worried sheâd be more likely to poison herself than anything else.Â
âItâs Parkinson,â she answered, reluctance coloring her tone. She met his gaze solidly hoping to forestall the inevitable questions or speculation, âYes, the same Parkinson whose father was just killed only to then have the Ministry haul my best friend off because some lunatic claimed he did it. Yes, Iâm handling it all fine besides a little trouble sleeping.â All Pansy could see when she shut her eyes was Draco being led away, the suffocating feeling of helplessness overwhelming her. Her solicitor was working with the Malfoyâs but the Ministry had been stone-walling them. What they did know was that Draco was being held in Azkaban for the time being.Â
It was unbearable to think of him in that place, being fed on by those awful creatures. Potterâs fear of Dementors was one of the few things Pansy agreed on fully. Most Purebloods had grown up hearing horror stories of Azkaban and its guards. She had to trust that Draco knew what he was doing though.Â
âParkinson,â Ted said flicking his wand to pull out the correct file. Luckily she seemed to be the only one here and he went to look at her file, but stopped. His eyebrow went up slightly as she continued. Not exactly knowing what to say.Â
âHe is your friend then? Draco?â The rest didnât bother him so much, one he didnât really believe her father to be guilty, or if he was that it was a good punishment. If anything it only proved how messed up this world had gotten.Â
People deserved trials, fairness justice even. Maybe it was silly to hold such ideals, and to be fair he didnât act on them often. After all what was he to try and change a society that for the most part only minimally accepted his existence.Â
âYou must be worried then.â He wanted to comfort the other, to say that he was going to be fine, but from what Ted had seen he wasnât quite sure if that would be the case. He had done the best he could, but in some ways the best he could do wasnât overtly the most helpful.Â
âUsually I would have to ask about your insomnia and a lot of other questions, but I think we can both agree that youâve been through enough this week.â Finally getting up he went to the back and opened up the charmed proof potionâs room.Â
âI do want to give the disclaimer that this potion doesnât solve the pain, and that a lot of these feelings you have are just going to show back up after resting. I would advise you to talk about them to someone you trust, even if itâs just a pillow.â
He wrapped the glass bottle in paper and waved his wand to tie a bit of string on it.Â
âYou all are much to young to have the scars you all do.â He muttered this under his breath shaking his head slightly as he went to put her file away.Â

dromedaxblack:
She knew she would take Ted by surprise with the reveal, but her patience was wearing thin. So, she had expected his confusion, she hadnât expected the smile that came after it. The confusion shown brightly on her face and she was unsure what he was so happy for. Obviously being a parent was exciting, but how were they supposed to make it work? She knew they made it work during the decades they had skipped, but had she been this scared?Â
âI was scared. I canât be a mother, Ted. I donât know how to do this,â she murmured, the fear clear in her dark eyes. Her parents hadnât been the best role models for parents. Andromeda knew she shouldnât have avoided Ted and just told him, but that would have been too easy. âMy parents, my sisters - you know theyâre going to have a field day with this. Iâll be disowned. I canât let them hurt the baby, or hurt you. I havenât told anyone really.â It was a slight lie; Draco and Ginny had guessed. That was all.Â
The weeks had turned into months since the time jump. She had learned she was pregnant before the time jump. She was about to enter her second trimester. The morning sickness had all but passed, but her hormones were raging.Â
âMerlin, I suppose Iâm about 12 weeks.âÂ
It wasnât the most important factor of this conversation, though. She needed to know that they could do this. She needed a plan.Â
After a few moments pause, she asked the burning question: âWhat are we going to do?âÂ
His face fell as he saw that she wasnât happy. A panic raised in his throat as he felt every insecurity that he had told himself was silly. After all no matter what she had stayed.
Thats why when she said that she couldnât be a mother Tedâs heart almost leapt out of his chest, until he heard that she didnât know how to. It almost calmed him and he shook his head.Â
âAndromeda Black, you are the single most stubborn brilliant and all together loveliest witch I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. If you wanât to be a mother I donât doubt youâll be the best mother in the world.â
He took one of his hands out of hers and gently brushed some of her hair back, his hand lingering there for a moment before speaking again.Â
âIf thatâs what your worried about, Love donât. I swear no matter what happens Iâll protect you and the baby. I know you think itâs silly when I say it, but I do think your family can come around. Especially now. And if they donât - then weâll form a new family. But if this is what youâve been scared of Dromeda I want you to know that I knew the risks in falling in love with you, and I did it anyway.â He gave her a small smile trying to see one on her face.
âI donât know. But I do know were going to get through this together. I havenât heard much, but the younger students all seem to know me because of you, so we worked through this before, and we can do it again. Maybe even better then the first time.âÂ
dracomalfcy:
Currently, Draco was the new prisoner and the main target of the Dementors because there was still life to be sucked out of him. He had seen some former Death Eaters in other cells on his way to his own beautiful cell. Some immediately jumped up when they heard footsteps to see what was coming. They were amused to see him. Some didnât move as the guards passed by with him, merely cringing when the Dementors, who were following the guards, lingered in front of their cell door. It meant that Ted Tonks was a distraction. A horrible one maybe, decided to taunt him, a trap set by the Ministry, but a distraction all the same. He didnât fall for traps. He was the person that did the taunting. Just because the Ministry thought they were winning didnât mean they were. âHmm,â he murmured, studying Tedâs every movement, still not bothering to move from the spot. âIâm the only son of Andromedaâs youngest sister Narcissa. The blonde one.â He couldnât blame Ted if he wasnât acquainted with the Black family. If Draco were him he wouldnât be either. âAnd Lucius Malfoy is my father. Of course. Spitting image,â he said, gesturing to himself. Except for the hair. He didnât want long hair; couldnât imagine how long that would take in the morning and didnât want to. At Tedâs words about the other disliking him he sighed and shrugged his shoulders. The movement was painful, but he didnât want to show it. He didnât think that the other would dislike him. Definitely not on principle. That suspicion was confirmed moments later. Ted talked, a lot, which reminded him of something else he liked. It was charming on the both of them. Draco finally got up from the spot when Ted mentioned the wounds. âI thought they brought you in to heal them?â he asked, undertone matter-of-fact. To him, it implied that he still had his Occlumency skill under control, because he wouldnât have been able to sound that way if he hadnât. He wasnât even close to the boy he should be at this point, because the Ministry was succeeding at what they were trying to do, which was break him. He just would be damned if he did, so he didnât. âOr do you not have your wand? That would be clever. Iâm perfectly capable of stealing it.â He stood up and leaned back against the wall again, arms folded over one another, still looking at Ted. âYou canât give me potions,â he declared. âMost of them will kill me faster than torture would.â Something that the Ministry of Magic had the opportunity to figure out, too. âOcclumens, hence the mental diseases. Apparently not dealing with -â he made a gesture in the space between them, âeverything for two years isnât healthy. Who knew.â As much as he might hate to admit it, he would really appreciate it that Ted could talk while he was doing whatever it was he had to do. He didnât handle being healed well, thanks to the trauma, and only let a select few people do it. Andromeda was among those people. Ted would have to make the list very soon. âWell, youâre seeing Andromeda. You can guess what happens,â he said. âSilence is not preferable, though. So you can talk and I can listen. You can talk about..â he considered it, âI want to ask about Andromeda. How you made that work. But if thatâs too personal you can forget about it.âÂ
âAh, I guess I should have guessed. The blonde hair gives your mum away.â He gave the younger a slight smile, not that he had many fond memories of his mother she was at least - silent around him. Not like their sister. Still he didnât know much about either, so it wasnât as if they knew much about him.Â
That was the thing about the whole pure blood versus muggle born idea. No one really knew one another, and they rarely bothered to try. He had hoped that it would get better in his lifetime, but from the little he had allowed himself to hear about he knew that it hadnât.Â
He glanced at the boy again and shook his head, âI reckon you look more like your mum to be honest. Then again I didnât see your father often.â He looked back into his bag as the other talked.Â
âWouldnât let me have my wand, although I donât think itâs because of that. They didnât seem to want me to heal you fully.â He said it as a matter of fact, although the edge of his voice gave away that he wasnât pleased by the fact. After all what good was a healer whoâs wand was tied?Â
âAt least in my opinion thatâs what they were doing.â He leaned his hand on the bag lightly as he listened to him. Nodding his head slightly a frustration came over him. âThey only let me look at your file for a short period of time.â
For a moment he looked in his bag and smiled slightly. âLuckily, you happen to have a muggle-born as a healer - and they said that this would never come in handy.â Pulling out some gauze and iodine he set it aside as he took out over the counter pain killers.Â
âThey wonât be very strong, but it will cut the pain.â Handing over two pills he sighed. âyou have to swallow them, I wish I had some water but all I can say is donât chew them.âÂ
Ted nodded slightly as he moved closer to the boy. âIâll have to patch these up at least, and clean them out. Iâm assuming you donât want any scars.â He thought a couple might need stitches - but as he normally repaired skin the wizard way it would be a lot harder and painful. He noted that and decided if he needed them next time he would put them in then.Â
He looked to the boy and nodded slightly as he unwrapped the gaze and started cleaning the arm wound. âI figured it wouldnât end well, but I - I guess I hoped that they would eventually at least speak to her. And I suppose itâs only fair.â
After all he was in his personal misery at the moment, he might as well share something personal as well. Besides what was the harm.Â
âHow I made it work? I suppose what you mean is how were together? Or perhaps itâs more of the fact we come from very different places. I donât know how it works in the future, but I remember seeing her the first day of classes. Donât think she even saw me - but her laughter. I couldnât stop thinking about it for days. I asked her if we could be friends, and I donât think I saw a shocked face so quickly. I think she thought I was joking.â He smiled slightly thinking back that far, when he didnât even know about the growing tensions in the wizarding world. That would come later. Then he was just young.Â
âSheâs my best friend, and there are certain people that are almost destined to be in your life, and ever since then I donât think there isnât anything we couldnât work out. Mind you we still fight, you should have seen her when I told her I wanted a motorcycle like her cousin.âÂ
He chuckled slightly as he wrapped up the first arm very gently.Â
âI guess it didnât matter to me. The whole pureblood thing, and I donât think it mattered much to her.âÂ
hello all, I just got finished with finals, but something is happening to my dash? I canât seem to get past the ninth post. That being said Iâm not quite sure what to do about it and will probably try to figure it out in the morning.Â

The words were seconds away from leaving her lips, that was until Ted decided to speak again. She knew since the time jump she had been acting odd, but the man in front of her had thought it was because of an entirely different reason. The surprise was clear upon her face for a brief couple of seconds, before it turned into confusion. Did he truly believe she wanted to break up with him? The brunette reached out and grasped his hands into hers. She grasped his attention and spoke when he was done.Â
âTed, Iâm not breaking up with you. What are you thinking?â The question left her lips, obvious that whatever she had wanted to tell him had not been what he expected. There was an obvious choice that she had to make, but in any decade, she knew sheâd choose Ted Tonks over her family. No matter the era, sheâd choose him. She loved her family, but she loved him more. Panic rising within her body, she asked, âDid you want me to? Do you want to break up?âÂ
Her emotions were that of a pregnant lady. Lately, she found herself crying at times sheâd usually be laughing. It was quite weird what her hormones had chose to do to her mind. Her mood could change from one extreme to another in a matter of seconds. Now, she was angry.Â
âBloody hell, Ted. Iâm carrying your child. Not breaking up with you. Iâm pregnant.â
Ted felt her hands grab his and for a moment the gesture calmed him, like she did. Looking up he started to stutter an answer out, âI thought - because you must know what happens with us. What if you - â He shook his head.
It wasnât that he was insecure, after all if she didnât love him she wouldnât have been with him this entire time. She was far to practical and much too caring to drag on a relationship.Â
When she asked the questions his eyes went wide,â What - Merlinâs beard. I would never.â Ted however got confused as he saw panic turn to anger and then.Â
âWhat?â He for a moment stopped everything, and a look of shock came over his face.Â
It was then split by the biggest smile heâd ever shown. Which must look quite humerous next to her positively angry face. Without thinking he pulled Andromeda in.Â
âAre you really? Is that why youâve been - oh Oh Merlin thatâs why youâve been avoiding me isnât it? Why didnât you tell me sooner? How far along are you?âÂ

@healerxtedxtonks a closed starter.
It may be shocking to the Ministry of Magic, but even former Death Eaters had rights. He wasnât sure if torturing people to get the truth out of them was legal. Would it have stopped them if it wasnât legal? Probably not. Would he sue? No, probably not. He would overthrow. And the Ministry of Magic had no proof that he did anything. He admitted to being the Lover of the Light, so? He only confessed to one murder. He killed the Dark Lord, and quite frankly, he deserved a medal. Instead he had been tortured in the department of Mysteries because they didnât care whether or not he killed Peverell Parkinson; they just wanted to lock someone up for it. The night in Azkaban had been long. Azkaban had been on his list of fears for a very long time. The Ministry of Magic stated that Dementors wouldnât be guarding Azkaban anymore. Well, that was a lie. The life was being sucked out of him while he sat there and stared in front of him. His lawyer, who had visited that morning, had arranged that a healer was going to see him later on. Tend to his physical wounds. Talk to him and figure out his mental wounds. Good luck with that. He was forced to join the Death Eaters at sixteen, words implying everything that it meant. He couldnât be fixed. Draco was still sitting in the same corner of the cell with his eyes closed when the morning turned into afternoon and when he heard the cell door open. Finally opening his eyes, multi-colored hues studied a man he was sure he had seen before, albeit an older version of him. It took him another few seconds of staring at the other that he realized who he was dealing with. Edward Tonks. Was the Ministry trying to be funny? Confront a depressed and suicidal boy with someone he was programmed to hate for the past seventeen years of his life? A nice attempt, really. Unfortunately for the Ministry he was a Malfoy and a Black and neither one of those families would bend and break and he was not about to break that tradition. He didnât get up from his spot in the corner as Ted moved towards him. âYou know,â he said, âsince Iâm from this time, I know about your secret love affair with my aunt. She really cares about me, by the way. Andromeda. I care about her, too.â Brainwashing not complete was what he called this. At least he still valued family above blood purity and family was what Andromeda, and in extension Ted, was. âSalazar, I sound insane. The Dementors are really doing their best, apparently.â Bringing up his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose, a fresh wound could be spotted on his left arm, right beneath the Dark Mark. He was sure Ted knew there were a couple more of those, mostly underneath his clothes on his chest and back. âI donât think weâve been formally introduced yet. Iâm Draco, your nephew.â Â
Ted didnât usually go to Azkaban. After all he was a fairly new healer and there was a clearance that was at a much higher level. The entire thing made his hair stand on end.Â
Still he had gotten the owl that he was to go to the place, and take care of well the person that had started all of this, or at least thats what they said. He didnât know the boy very well, and for some reason they insisted and Ted wasnât about to let a child not get attention. Because thatâs what they really were, children. He had heard snippets here and there about the future - and he couldnât help but feel for the fact that they all seemed so young.Â
Just like what had been happening in his time era. It always seemed to affect the young.Â
It was as horrible of a place as he had imagined it, the walls seemed to weep and Ted couldnât help but be horrified at what others had gone through. It wasnât that he excused crimes, not at all. But to subject people to this, well it was horrifying. Still he kept his tongue knowing that if he didnât help him he wasnât sure anyone else here would.Â
He wasnât a bleeding heart he told himself, but he couldnât help but care. Especially after reading his file with the breathe of a hostile man on his neck. He couldnât help but see a lot of pain there.Â
He was unusually quiet as he entered the room looking at the younger for a moment. He hadnât expected the reaction and for a moment a feeling of panic came over him, before he saw the dementor over his shoulder. Shaking his head he entered. Focusing on the task at hand he extended his hand to introduce himself to be cut off.Â
âAh, So I guess that does get out eventually,â Ted said rather calmly for a point that caused so much anxiety. âI guess you are one of her sisterâs sons? With your last name I can only think of a few people who it would be. And good I care about her too.â He gave a little smile at the mention of him caring about Andie.
âItâs not an astute observation, but if you know about the relationship Iâm assuming they would think I would dislike you on principle then?â Ted after all might not have been the brightest in the grade, but he knew enough of bullying and hate to know what they would do. He shook his head and sighed at the stupidity of it all. If they had thought him callous or hate filled, especially to someone that hadnât done a thing to him theyâd be sorely mistaken.Â
âIâd hate to disappoint them, but If Andie likes you I think weâd get along, although if you donât like me much I donât blame you.â He gave a chuckle, that sounded odd in the context of the place they were. It was weaker then normal, but still he sat across from the other pulling out some of the supplies that they had let him bring in.Â
âI wonât be able to do much about the wounds right now, until they let me take you to the ward. But I can at least wrap them up and give you a few potions.â His voice was calm and had hints of warmth to it, even as he looked at the mark of the man that would have killed all of his kind.
After all after years and years of fighting to be considered a wizard, he found that compassion worked better than hatred. Ignorance made monsters out of men, and he couldnât help but see that the boy in front of him was like Andie, at least a little. If it had Bellatrix he would have hissed at him after all.Â
âSo, you said I was your Uncle then?â He smiled lightly at that knowing that there was only one real way that would have happened. âIâm guessing though you never met me either way. So how about this, as a distraction from all of this. Iâll tell you something about myself. Especially if were going to be related one day I would like to get to know you after all. Or you can ask things about me, or we can sit in silence as I clean these out.âÂ
