A medicus who found herself in chains after she slaughtered her commander and lover Verius pyr Calidus while suffering from psychosis, believing him to be a Dravanian monstrosity.

She was later repurposed by Alaudae Commander Vitus quo Mesalla, serving as his loyal enforcer.

She was among those dispatched to Coerthas to retrieve the deserter Cato Mammula.

'Macula' was the name of a Hrothgar soldier who used to look after her. She thinks he's dead. I headcanon Macula (spot) is to Hrothgar as Arvina is to Roegadyn

Her horns, most scales, and tail were removed in an effort to appear less 'beast-like'. Removal of facial scales and her horns mangled her face. Despite healing, skin where scales used to be is painful to the touch. She has ears. Where they came from is... unclear.

Imperial!Sai's PTSD comes from participating in the Battle of Silvertear Skies. Literally the one thing that sets wol!Sai down a different path from imperial!Sai was whether she murders Verius. If no Imperial gaol, she never ends up in Vitus's orbit.

In this AU the Warrior of Light is Inghilswys (my Roe 'Gilly') who broke up with Aymeric post-Stormblood. He's in a pretty vulnerable place when Ajisai shows up to murder him in ShB
