Mr. Puzzles didn't give the remote to SMG4 before running to confront Wpnz, and it gets damaged in a different way that sends them somewhere else after their fight is finished. At least it gave them a timer for how long they're stuck.

His past version is also there, unlike the previous time travel mishaps.

WPNZ is well aware of how good an actor Puzzles can be and he 100% takes full advantage of it

I cant help but think it'd be fun to write a story about the smg4 crew watching the episodes that involved mostly Mr. Puzzles after they close the rift. Not so Meggy has closure or they can see how good he was, he wasn't, but just because it'd be kinda funny that this is the one fandom where a watching their own show fic would actually work in universe. Susan the dinosaur could come to reclaim the remote to put it back where it belongs, and decide showing the reason behind why these two idiots ended up having to sacrifice themselves would be a great idea actually.

Some of it would be very uncomfortable for Meggy for obvious reasons, and everyone else would be concerned for her while also recognizing the dude needed therapy incredibly badly. The two's relationship would not make any more sense to any of them even after they learned more about it, but clearly it didn't make much sense to them either until the end, so whatever.

It'd make an excellent story I think, is all I'm saying, and wouldn't be too hard to make up a reason for it happening in universe like youd have to do for others. Stranger shit has happened in that world then watching some recordings of a guy known to record and watch everything.

Honestly I think Walmart broke Puzzles a little more than he had already been, but quicker. He's never done a normal job, so the boredom probably didn't help his mental state at all. His more insane behavior because of that makes sense, even if it's really weird to rewatch again.

Id have tried to steal the polish regardless, but Karen is a scary woman so I guess his self preservation worked out for him that time.
