I do think it's impressive how well the smg4 crew were able to make very human movements with their characters in Gmod, especially when the characters proportions are kind of weird and require different movements to look ok when the animation called for it outside of the more action based scenes.

I think I once heard Charles Martinet say at a panel, the script for Mario Teaches Typing 2 had Mario telling the player negative things if they failed but he himself changed the lines and instead said things like “That was great, but I know you can do even better” and “That wasn’t as fast as last time..let’s try again” because in his mind he had already decided that he wanted Mario to be always loving

Two things I hope they utilize more in calling all villains is Mr. Puzzles' ability to move around as just a head to avoid attacks and to escape, and his antennae actually being useful and doing stuff besides just decoration.

The only time anyone ever used them against him was Karen, and he's apparently light enough to be dragged around by them, or more realistically shes just super fucking strong.

I wanna see both get used more, it'd be excellent.

I know he only used a remote on himself when he was stuck in his own dispicable me parody, but I do actually wonder if Puzzles kept the remote to his own head and has it somewhere.

Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but he has it just for a weird nostalgia sake. It isn't like he needs it either way, when he can just use his dials and get what he wants immediately, but maybe getting rid of it would feel wrong to him. Or maybe he can feel the remote and damaging that hurts him too because its connected to him.

Barely related but I just remembered in the Junkyard. I loved that when he attempted to grow his body out of an unrelated TV while his connection was shit because of the room being padded, instead the tv just changed channels uncontrollably and seemed to tire him out. Like yea, sure, that makes sense for a thing that could happen when he cant just magically teleport to a new TV.

If that TV had a remote and it could be used, I dont think he'd have any control of putting his face where it should be, and possibly maybe it would also control and change channels to his actual face where his body is. What a fun weakness to have!

Actually, anybody in this fandom into centaurs? Someone should draw Mr. Puzzles as a long legged deer centaur, it'd be great! A sleek cyborg centaur, fully just done on a whim he had one day, can just swap from his usual form to that one whenever. No need for a centaur au when your good at building shit.

I think he'd use the body as a back-up if his main body were ever to go out of commission, like just summon it and all he'd need to do is put his head on it. Such a body would be good for running away from danger since deer are both fast and agile. That or he uses it on days he feels particularly full of whimsy

The idea that he'd use it for some whimsical fun is delightful, maybe he thought of the concept after watching nature documentaries or Bambi or any number of different shows related to deer.

It's a useful form for escape, as well as for prancing around in some sort of meadow having a great time. He probably based the idea of having Mario be a deer on that.
