I know he only used a remote on himself when he was stuck in his own dispicable me parody, but I do actually wonder if Puzzles kept the remote to his own head and has it somewhere.

Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but he has it just for a weird nostalgia sake. It isn't like he needs it either way, when he can just use his dials and get what he wants immediately, but maybe getting rid of it would feel wrong to him. Or maybe he can feel the remote and damaging that hurts him too because its connected to him.

Barely related but I just remembered in the Junkyard. I loved that when he attempted to grow his body out of an unrelated TV while his connection was shit because of the room being padded, instead the tv just changed channels uncontrollably and seemed to tire him out. Like yea, sure, that makes sense for a thing that could happen when he cant just magically teleport to a new TV.

If that TV had a remote and it could be used, I dont think he'd have any control of putting his face where it should be, and possibly maybe it would also control and change channels to his actual face where his body is. What a fun weakness to have!

I cannot be the only person who thinks Mr. Puzzles and RGB look nothing alike aside from their heads being modeled after an old ass TV, and only vaguely similar since TVs arent that unique in how they look and color bars aren't special. What the fuck is everyone talking about.

Actually, anybody in this fandom into centaurs? Someone should draw Mr. Puzzles as a long legged deer centaur, it'd be great! A sleek cyborg centaur, fully just done on a whim he had one day, can just swap from his usual form to that one whenever. No need for a centaur au when your good at building shit.

I think he'd use the body as a back-up if his main body were ever to go out of commission, like just summon it and all he'd need to do is put his head on it. Such a body would be good for running away from danger since deer are both fast and agile. That or he uses it on days he feels particularly full of whimsy

The idea that he'd use it for some whimsical fun is delightful, maybe he thought of the concept after watching nature documentaries or Bambi or any number of different shows related to deer.

It's a useful form for escape, as well as for prancing around in some sort of meadow having a great time. He probably based the idea of having Mario be a deer on that.

I remember a few weeks ago when I first watched a scene compilation for Mr puzzles, after hearing about him from his voice actor offhand on his q&a stream, I was incredibly confused by Boopkins specifically and what the fish was about.

I honestly thought, because the scenes only involved puzzles, that he just randomly grabbed an npc or made some new character to answer the question because he was having a meltdown with the actual main characters.

I know what Boopkins is about now, since I've been watching more videos after the compilation got me interested in the series as a whole, but there was that very strange few minutes where his existence confused the hell out of me.

He's a sweet little guy though, I'm still not sure how old he is, and his wiki page doesn't say it as far as I remember when I checked it a week or two ago.

thinking about how playful Odile is. parroting back animal sounds. playing up the “grumpy old woman” bit in a way that lets the others bounce their energy off of her. turning Mirabelle’s tutorial into a chance to tease everyone pop quiz style. promising dramatic retribution to anyone who wrongs her (wasabi sandwiches, may your house fall down on your horrified face, my revenge would be swift and absolute). letting Siffrin and Isabeau make guesses about her “research” instead of shutting it down because she likes to see what they come up with. the fact that “Opposite Ends of the Age Spectrum Alliance” was not invented for the hallway decision but something she and Bonnie had already come up with at some other time when they teamed up precanon. i linguini you, Siffrin.

also the ways she lets people “in on” her playfulness like it’s a secret. no one can know i love to gossip, Mirabelle. only doing the animal parroting thing when she and Siffrin are alone and making no further comment as Siffrin ????????s about it. teaming up with Bonnie to “secretly” put potatoes in Siffrin’s pockets. poking fun at Isabeau about his crush before the others know about it but also genuinely being a confidant. secret quests. all the ways she connects with each of them individually and makes each of those connections feel special and secretive and mysterious in a “we’re playing spies together” kind of way

hiding tidbits and information about herself from the others not because she would hate it if they knew, but in the way you can hide treats in a toy and watch your cats a) figure out that there’s something in there that they want b) struggle to get at it and c) get all excited when they finally succeed. it’s enrichment for all of them

Smg4 and 3 not having parents is honestly a very funny unique characterization for them. They can't relate to anyone's parental troubles, but they sure can exhibit the wildest chaotic energy to ever exist with no filter in sight.

I greatly enjoy that while Puzzles' head is a TV, he can do pretty much any other media with it along with the TV stuff. He's also a computer, a phone, radio, remote, pretty much anything media related.

It does show his dedication towards loving visual media and everything he got from it.

How did Toomp know to turn on the TV at the exact moment it was showing Wpnz wanted story? I know what his thing was about, but it does look as though he engineered their introduction to each other somehow for his own purposes.

Any time he's around the SMG4 crew, they have to make Puzzles bend to fit in frame because hes so tall, and that's just constantly hilarious. He's so very tall, very proud of his stature and appearance, and he's always having to either kneel, or literally lie on the floor in leggy's case, just to speak to these people within the frame of the camera he's probably constantly aware of.

Probably could have chosen taller people to terrorize, and he wouldn't have to deal with that, but no he's chosen to mildly inconvenience himself this way.

Like this is just objectively funny. He's always doing this or leaning really close.

This is my absolute favorite thing about his character from literally the first time I saw him.

Like he doesn't even flinch at contorting his body in insanely uncomfortable position, and probably has joints of rubber.

Im gonna doodle smth abt this guy later, with screenshots. he's so odd.

It's my favorite thing about him as well, he only ever complains about his clothes getting dirty when someone touches him, not when he's actively lying in the dirt having a conversation and getting kicked.

He'd have to have rubber joints in order to contort into his own head yeah, though I imagine he still has some parts of him that are human, though for me thats more internal stuff and some minor outward skin somewhere and I could ramble about that but I'm not fully sure of what all I think that is yet.

I look forward to seeing your doodles! He's such a weird guy and I love how he embraces and actively chose to be like this! ^-^
