We the mighty white, recognize that through luck alone we were born into the wealthiest country in the world, and that this same luck provided us the milky white skin which attributes to us prestige and power. Understanding the role of good fortune in our lives we use our influence to make others of privilege awaken to this reality.
We the mighty white, acknowledge that the brown and black skinned people in the world, along with the poor, in fact and inherently, suffer far more than we do. Lack of opportunity, lack of resources and lack of access to power cripple their pursuit of equal consideration and opportunity.
We the mighty white, exercise our power with, people of lesser circumstance instead of power over them to co-create a more equal world. We understand the role injustice plays in the lives of the poor and advocate for fairness.
We the mighty white, know that education, physical ability and cognitive differences can be factors of poverty, so we seek to level the playing field by sharing our resources and good fortune. Extending our arms to pull someone up, and raising them high to push someone ahead so that we change the lives and fates of generations.
We the mighty white, listen to the stories of the many less-fortunate than us. As our hearts break wide open with compassion we use our educated eloquence to share their stories and spread an understanding that without the boon of our birth circumstances we are as vulnerable as they.
We the mighty white, endeavor to bring hope, like a flame, to the lives of those in darkness. Sharing our capabilities with a ceaseless determination to spread love wherever we see hate. Through our own humility we enlighten those with closed hearts and minds.
Finally, we the mighty white, humbly embrace our mistakes and mistreatment of others, generously giving them the love, respect and justice all humans deserve. Using our voices, through our actions, and, with our power we insist upon change to improve the lives of all, not the lucky few.
