Okay so I have now listened to folklore in full, and to be quite honest, I am nothing less than SHOOK.
Taylor has the depth to tell stories in various genres and if that’s not talent I don’t know what is. I discovered her in the Fearless era, screamed every lyric, & memorised every guitar riff. When she went full pop for 1989 I embraced it with my whole heart. She had the ability to go so dark and heavy production with rep, for her to then drop lover which was a total contrast. Light, delicate and daydreamy. Now she takes us to her most vulnerable work yet, with a complete diff sound again. How does she do it? I’ve no words. I think that’s what I love about her so much. She can switch genres, switch sounds, switch aesthetics. But one thing remains consistent and it’s that her songs so powerfully tell a story and take you on a journey. It’s all in the lyrics. She’s a gift.
Thank you & congratulations on another masterpiece @taylorswift. I love you ❤️🌿☁️
