Heather Falton has acquired extensive leadership experience in healthcare management over the past two decades. She served as executive vice president of managed care at Opis Management Resources LLC for 10 years. During her time there, Heather Falton was in charge of managing insurance contracts and supervising all nursing services. Early in her career, she worked as a registered nurse in several hospices and medical centers in Alabama and Florida. While with Brookwood Medical Center, she garnered experience in medical specialties including respiratory care and infectious disease. Her work as a registered nurse case manager at Amedisys Hospice consisted of coordinating patient care with physicians and social workers. In addition to her clinical skills, Heather Falton is proficient in multiple EMR documentation systems such as Point Click Care and Kareo. She also uses her leadership skill set to efficiently manage teams and accomplish organizational goals. Heather Falton earned an associate degree in nursing from Keiser University in Lakeland, Florida. In addition to her work, she spends her leisure time exercising and horseback riding. She also enjoys antiquing.
