he is so …. I have so many things to say bonus:
this look is so iconic ♡
Sex traffickers will target cars that look feminine
also im growing to hate the phrase ''hold accountable'' in discourse because its always so.... empty? like you see people saying ''sure this person apologized, but we need to hold them accountable!'' like cool. what does that mean. how can you get any more accountable than a public apology. do you want them to apologize... again? more? get a tattoo explaining their crimes so everyone they meet is informed? do you want accountability or are you repeating buzzwords because you cant find a nice way to say you just want them to disappear.

that post about how its impossible to satirize masculinity without thousands of men earnestly idenitifying with it isn't wrong but ive also seen enough women cheer on the most rancid shit as long as its got a veneer of femininity to it so idk i think it might just be a human thing
equality win: men and women both bad at media comprehension !!
for every Taxi Driver there's a Midsommar
For every Fight Club there's a Gone Girl
For every American Psycho there's a Mean Girl
Anyway I saw some callout post on twitter against an artist for drawing amputee porn but the artist is themself an amputee so then people were saying they got their leg cut off as part of their fetishization and people seriously think that’s more likely than an amputee being like “I’ll draw people that are like me” like, yeah ok I’m an Elon accelerationist when it comes to twitter
while its a "what the fuck" moment as it is already. even if they got their leg off as part of their fetish thats still like. an amputee. their amputee card is not revoked. what is the thought process in this part im legitimately lost
This post I was showed some time ago:
(no, it's not a theme, I just colored it so you can see where the screenshot starts and ends)
"appropriating an oppressed class" but you end up fat? what? or do people have scan rays and see that it's a paraphilia thing and go "oh so you're not REALLY fat let's go oppress some fat people"???????? "intentionally making yourself fat and taking gratification in our oppression" im sorry but like. in public you cant tell. and behind closed doors its none of your business. like it literally doesnt involve you. huh.
Also I would like to remind that the argument of a "person satisfying their fetish by altering their body" has also been used repeatedly in transphobic rhethoric, and very recent events have shown the fallout of policing and moralizing a person's rights over their own body (see abortion and transition ban laws).
As Spectre said if someone desires to alter their own body out of their own (uninfluenced) will that's their own consequences to bear and certainly not your business.
So, even in the rare incidence the proposed argument by the twitter riot was true (which trust me, i find it hard to believe this is the case) whether you are happy with it or not that person still is an amputee. They cannot grow that missing limb back just because for them it's a fetish or something. They would still need assistance for basic tasks. The argument has little to no sense other than try to appeal to a sense of disgust in others and shame the artist.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, when someone is “called out” over “fetishization” it’s a good idea to always ask yourself “why is this wrong then?” because that is one of the worst used words on social media. Like
Not only is this not a thing, but if it were to happen and someone actually engages in such extreme self-mutilation that they amputee an entire fucking limb on their own, this is someone that should be treated with compassion. That is someone that has something going on in their head. That is not an “oppressor”.
Pretty on the inside
ewww youre Not a gross freak... ? thats so weeeirddd.. i dont think we can be friends sorry

true crime is becoming to girls what ww2 is to boys
#there’s definitely some amount of difference#because a lot of women get into true crime#because they’re overly aware that the majority of the murder victims are women#and it’s kind of a response to knowing how dangerous it is to exist in this world as a woman- like ‘this could be me’#or ‘this is how i would protect myself if i were in this situation’#or even trying to make true crime seem more like a show because it makes the possibility that they’ll be harmed seem less likely#but also there’s serial killer fangirls so like#you really can’t defend that
The majority of murder victims are, in fact, men.
Specifically, 79%.
The most murdered group, specifically, are black men.
The LEAST murdered demographic are middle class white women, who oddly make up a majority of the murder victims shown in true crime programs and news reports, and also the ones who make up the majority of true crime fans.
It’s called Missing White Woman Syndrome, and it’s based in racist disregard for non-white lives and patriarchal protectiveness of (white) women and it leads white middle class women to have a vastly overblown idea of their own vulnerability to random serial killers.
Note, ‘overblown.’ These women are feeling fear for a vanishingly unlikely occurrence, akin to preppers who spend their lives preparing for Russian invasions. It’s not a healthy or rational fear, and it shouldn’t be encouraged.
The analogy is also apt, even if watching out of own personal fears. In the end you’re still watching police propaganda, to justify the use of the prison systems (or capital punishment), and it’s purposely playing on your fascination and disgust to do this. The same bigoted system most privileged will buy their way out off anyway. Its reactionary as shit lol.
