My Best Friend Died Yesterday

Yesterday, July 6th 2017, the very first friend I ever had was in a car crash. She died from the impact at only 18. She was a beautiful poet, an animal lover, and a honest person. She left behind both of her parents, a younger brother, and a big sister. It was just another day, but with just one blown tire and a text message I lost someone I had known for almost fourteen years. So I'm here to tell you to message everyone you love at least once a day because my message was two hours too late. And make sure you take pictures of everything you never want to lose because one day when you're not expecting it they won't be there to photograph.

The Dandelion ~ One of the most common plants that grows everywhere across the United States and in a lot of countries in Europe. The dandelion has been widely respected by people for its healing powers, used by herbalists in Europe, China and India for centuries! Sadly many people today think of the dandelion as an annoying weed. The dandelion however has many healing powers and can be used for so many things. It can be used for; - Skin problems and eruptions such as measles, chicken pox, eczema - Indigestion - Constipation - Anemia - Blood purification - Acne - Hepatitis The parts that are used from the dandelion are the leaves and roots. Its latin name is; Taraxacum officinalis It tastes a little bitter tho! You can make it into a tea, capsule, potherb, sun tea, tincture, wash, bitters, powder, pill and even a dye! Drinking its tea helps to cleanse the blood and clear up several skin problems!

How to cleanse your room of bad energy

- Open the window and let fresh air and sunlight flow through the room. Also keep the door open if you can.

- Since your bed is a huge part of the bedroom, strip your bedding and throw it in the wash.

- Quickly tidy up any clutter. This doesn’t need to be a huge job. Just tackle the main things like dirty laundry and dirty dishes.

- Light an incense and walk around the room with it. Hold the incense for a while in each corner, behind furniture, and around any new items you have brought into your room that need to be cleansed. 

- Fill a spray bottle with water, salt, and your favourite essential oil (I recommend lavender for the bedroom) and spray it around your room in any spots you still feel negative energy. 

- An alternative to spraying salt water is you can sprinkle salt around your room and then vacuum it up.

- Still feel negative energy? Walk around your room and clap! This works wonders.

- Once your bedding is clean and dry, make your bed with it. 

You’re done! You will probably feel a lot better. You don’t have to do all of these things at once. If you don’t have much time or energy but need to cleanse, just try doing one of these things.
