Recently realized that Hyde’s hair is literally like a 2000s scene haircut, I am not fucking with you I realized this while semi realistically drawing Hyde. Scene king Hyde real.

So as far as I know hedgehogs can't eat cheese, which raises an important question to me: What is the timeline of Crantz putting pictures of Hyde on his blog?
Did they start before Hyde revealed himself? Did Licht and Crantz just casually take pictures of him and only later decided to put them online? Did he show up in one video by coincidence for 1.4 seconds and immediately gained fans? Did Crantz do photo shoots with him already? Didn't they start at all until he stopped his cute pet act? And, when did Crantz start rewarding him?
But regardless of the answers to any of these questions, when Hyde dropped his act there must have been a moment where Crantz decided how to continue, so he possibly:
Sat him down at one point and went "hey, will you still let me post pictures of you, and if so do you still want [whatever he gave him] in return or...?"
Decided that it's convenient to have an adorable animal you can communicate with and came up to him like "what do I have to give you for you to let me dress you up and put it on the internet"
Casually asked about Hyde's favourite food and came up to him a few days later with some expensive cheese like "trade offer-"
And frankly I can't decide which of these is funnier.
