Hey Paige. You look like you had something on your mind Corey. Everything alright? Umm yeah everything's fine. Corey. *Paige just looked at Corey like "are you serous" What is it Paige? I know something's up Corey. *sighs* Paige can we not talk about it right now. *Paige puts her hand on Corey's cheek* We've been friends for a long time Corey. Whatever it is you wanna tell me you can tell me when your ready. *Corey just looks at her* thanks Paige I just need to do some thinking. Ok Corey. I'm here if you need me. Thank you Paige. *she gives him a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek. Corey would've loved the kiss on the cheek more if it was out of passion but he knows that Paige does that to him out of their friendship* Chapter 2 *Corey has friends in WWE who he can trust and talk to, but none were as a better friend to him than his friend Neville. He would go to him for advice or just to have a grand old time. Today he went up to Neville to ask for advice about his feelings towards Paige.* Hey Corey what's going on man. Hey Adrian just need your help with something man. Sure speak your mind. *Corey closes the locker room door* maybe take a seat Adrian we could be here for a while. *Neville looked a little confused but sat on down and Corey grabbed a chair and sat in front of him* Ok well I guess here's where I start. I really like a girl, and she works here. Wait don't tell me man. It's Paige isn't it. How did you know? What you think I never noticed you how you'd stare at her at times. *Corey blushed a little* I didn't know I was that easy to figure out. It's a little obvious at times man, but my advice for you lad is just go up and tell her. It can't hurt to ask or say. Adrian it could hurt our friendship. If she says no or something else or friendship might change forever. Well Corey you decide. You could keep friendship and never know if you could've experienced a relationship with her and be with regret or you could tell her and know the answer and at least know that you tried and got it off your chest. *Corey sat there for about 20 seconds taking it all in and then spoke* You know Adrian this is why I come to you man. You always give some of the best advice ever. *Neville just chuckled and they gave a bro like hug each other and Corey left Neville's room feeling better and he thought to himself* I'll tell Paige tomorrow. I'm beat right now. This savior of misbehavior needs his rest. *Corey went to his hotel room and put on some calm nice relaxing music and fell asleep* Chapter 3 *Corey woke up the next morning almost forgetting about what he was suppose to do today but he grabbed his phone and texted Paige* Hey Paige Corey here obviously as you can see because of the notification. Okay first bad joke of the day 😂😂😂 would you mind meeting at the nearest breakfast restaurant near the hotel. *Two minutes later Paige responded with* Lol nice try on the joke Corey. And sure just give me like 30 minutes and I'll be showered and ready. *Corey responded* K see you then. *He set down the phone and as much as he didn't wanna be kind of weird and dirty he pictured Paige in the shower for about 20 seconds then found a way to put it away somewhere and then he started getting ready. He grabbed a different set of sunglasses. He usually loved to go out looking cool in style but today he'd figured he'd just go with a casual look with a design T-shirt and some shorts. Corey grabbed his phone and hotel key and then thought to himself "Am I forgetting something at all?" Corey thought for a minute but then had nothing that came to mind. He walked down towards the elevator and pressed the button for it to come up to get him as he waited he thought to himself. "Man so today's the day. Man what am I going to say? What would Neville say?" He then thought of Neville's voice in his head "Would you stop being so afraid and just throw yourself out there and tell her. Don't be a coward." He chuckled to himself just of him thinking that. The elevator comes up as he steps inside the and presses the button to go down to the main floor. "Well time to go for it." He stepped outside of the hotel and looked across and saw the small little diner. He then crossed the street and was in front of the diner as he could see Paige sitting at the table. He took a deep breath and put his hand on the door to enter Chapter 4 Corey walked inside and smiled "How'd you get here before me?" "Cause your super slow that's why." Paige laughed afterward as Corey sat across from her. "Very cute." Paige smiled "I ordered your drink for you" "How'd you know what I want?" "Cause I know you that well." "Oh really? What'd you get for me then?" "Coffee and orange juice." "Damn your good" Paige playfully stuck her tongue out. Corey chuckled as the waitress comes and brings the drinks and she sets them at the table for them. "Guess your girlfriend knows you pretty well huh?" Corey and Paige both blushed a little and they nervously chuckled but neither of them noticed each other blushing. "He's not my boyfriend. We're just very good friends." "Oh my apologies." Corey then spoke "Oh don't worry. We get that a lot of times anyway" "Alright well I'll give you guys sometime to decide on what you want" Paige smiled "Thank you." The waitress walked away. "So how'd you sleep Matt?" "Wow." "What?" "It's just you usually just always call me Corey." "Well it's just natural. When we do interviews or other crap we gotta refer each other as our wrestling names." He chuckled. "Yeah I know." He drank some water. "So I actually texted you for a reason to talk to you about something." "Ok. What's up" He took quite a big gulp. "Well Saraya you see there's something I've kind of wanted to tell you something for quite a while now." Paige just looked at him kind of questioned like. "The thing is Saraya is I really like you. And not just in the best friend kind of way. It's more like you know like I love you." Her eyes widened a little. See I've had this feeling ever since our days in FCW. I just was kinda too nervous to ever mention anything. Saraya I feel like I'm thinking of you everyday and your like always in my dreams. No matter what I can't seem to get you out of my mind. Your pretty much all I can ever picture or think of. If I was to spend my life with anyone forever and ever with. I know that I'd want it to be with you. I know this all sudden but I just." Paige suddenly stood up and walked towards him. Corey who was too busy rambling on some more didn't notice her sit next to him until he saw her and lost all thought as he looked into her beautiful eyes. He had then swallowed what seemed like a rock in his throat. He was real nervous right now. They stayed silent only for a minute until Paige spoke. "Matt." "Ye" He was quickly cut off as Paige put her lips to his as they started to kiss. They had kissed for a minute before pulling away. "I've felt the same about you Matt for so long." "Why didn't you say something hun." She blushed. It was the first time he'd ever refer to her as hun or sweetheart or babe or baby or any of those words. "Because baby a girl loves a man who makes the first move." He blushed a little now. "Guess I should've said something sooner." She simply smiled. "Your saying something now and that's what matters." Corey gave her a small quick kiss. She giggled as Corey smiled. "What?" "Guess we gotta tell our waitress we just became boyfriend and girlfriend now. He chuckled. "Oh yeah your right. Plus we gotta still order our meals." Paige just simply smiled and held his hand as she leaned her head on his shoulder as the waitress came back. "Well this seems a little too close to be just best friends." She chuckled as Corey and Paige did too. "We actually just decided to try being a couple literally like two minutes ago." Paige just couldn't believe it. She was so happy. The man she had dreamt of for years now was hers and she was his. They were so close and she thought she'd be smiling for all day now. "Well to celebrate the meal is free then." "You better be careful what you say. She'll put you out of business then." Corey just busted out laughing as Paige lifted her head up "How dare you." "I was joking babe." He then looked at the waitress. "This is like the best thing when you have the girl of your dreams whose your best friend." The waitress just smiled "And what would the lovely couple like today?" "I'll just have a bacon omelette. Oh and some hash browns." Paige then laid her head back on Corey's shoulder. "And I'll have the strawberry stuffed french toast. And some bacon." Alright I'll go put that in you two." The waitress left as Corey just kinda kept looking down at Paige. She could feel him staring at her, and she was blushing so much. "You look so beautiful hun." Just when she thought she couldn't blush brighter she did. "Thanks babe. You don't look too bad yourself." "I look amazing." Corey just gave a playful like smirk. "You smell real nice too. I need your shampoo." "Not my body wash though?" "I'll smell too much like a chick. I don't necessarily want to smell like a girl." "You mean and damn pride thing or whatever." "Better believe it baby." Paige just stuck her tongue out playfully at him. "Damn that tongue is so sexy." Paige yet again blushed but put her tongue back in her mouth. "Hey hun?" "Yeah." "Would you wanna stay in my room at the hotel or would that." Paige put her finger to his lips to shut him up. "Don't be silly. Of course I'd love to hun." She smiled as she gave him a small kiss. "I'm gonna get up and use the bathroom." "I'll come help you." "Saraya I really don't think I need help in the bathroom." "No but you'd like me in there with you for a little something." "What I umm. No I umm." She simply giggled a little which then turned into a little laughter while Corey blushed. "I'm only messing. I just didn't wanna be the only person blushing at the table here." "You jerk." Paige simply smiled as she got up. "That's me." Corey then walked over to the bathroom as Paige sat back down and then somehow actually thinking of what would happen if she did what she was talking about. She started drinking some of the water she had gotten while Corey had started washing his hands he had started thinking of the same thing, but quickly shoved it away. It was too fast to think of something like sex especially on the first day. No matter how in love they may be in. Isn't it too quick. He once again shoved his thoughts aside and went back to the table. "Well there you are." "What miss me already hun." "Maybe." Paige smiled. She loved that they could still be this weird and crazy with each other and still now finally kiss and hold each other. She felt she was living some princes dream or whatnot. "We should come to this diner all the time when we're here." Paige had spoken. "You think so?" "Yup. It'd be nice for like memorial purposes. Plus did you see that movie "The Bounty Hunter?" "I don't believe I have." "What?" "Yeah no I don't believe so." "It's a great movie. We're so watching that tonight." "I'll make the popcorn then." "Right, but anyway as I was saying in that movie a couple went back to this one house that had this old couple there and they stayed at after their wedding and the couple remembered them after like 6 or maybe plus years or maybe it was less, but it was quite cute." "Sounds like you really know the movie." "It's a great one. You have to watch it with me tonight." "Alright I promise I will hun." "Good boy. Oh look here comes our food." The waitress came back and set the food on the table. "Alright we got a bacon omelette with hash browns and a stuffed french toast with a side of bacon." "That's 100% right." "Anything else I can get for you too.?" "Ummm" Corey had thought for a second. "We're fine. Thank you." The waitress walked away. "Babe." "What?" "What if I actually wanted something?" "If you did want something you would've known." "God damn nothing will get past you will it." "No way Jose." She smiled as she began to eat. When they finished their meal he went up to the waitress and whispered something. He than sat back down next to Paige. "Alright. What did you do?" "I didn't do nothing." Just then some servers started to move some small tables so there was an empty space next to Corey and Paige as he pulled out his phone. "Are they having a big dinner party or something?" Corey had stood up and played some slow dance music. "Nope. They're just waiting on dancing with the stars." He said as he took out his hand. "Matt. Oh I don't know. I'm not a good dancer." "Don't worry. Just take my hand." Paige was shy. She had never done something this romantic before ever really. All her life was pretty much wrestling and learning new things as she got older. She never had experienced something like this. But she took his hand as he gently pulled her up and close to him. Her heart was racing. The only time they were ever this was when they hugged each other out of friendship. This was different now. "Just follow my lead babe." They started slow dancing. A little clumsy but they didn't care. They had never felt so good in such a long time. They were in love and they felt just like two teenagers with young love. Once the song had ended so had their dance. The restaurant had clapped for them. The workers and the very few people that were in there. They then shared a kiss that had lasted for 30 seconds. Afterward Corey spoke "I love you." Maybe it was too soon to say such meaningful words but it didn't matter. He meant it and Paige responded back with "I love you too." She knew that there couldn't be a way to deny she loved Corey. They had felt this way for each other for so long and now their finally together. "Guess this means I'll be staring on total divas now huh." She giggled "Guess so. But I'm sure you'll love the attention anyway." They then thanked their waitress for the food and everything. They gave her a great tip. For they so did enjoy everything. They stepped outside as the sun shone into their eyes. "I wish I brought sunglasses." Corey took his off and stepped behind Paige and slid his on her. "Awww your such a sweetheart." He smiled while squinting a little. "Guess we should move my stuff into your room then." "Oh yeah. It's only one bed. Hope you won't mind." "Of course not. That just means we'll cuddle up together. They just smiled. They had always dreamt of them being like this and now it's finally happened. They held hands as they crossed the street to go back into their hotel. Chapter 5 They walked inside the hotel holding hands as Dean and Renee came out of the elevator as they walked to to lobby. "Hey Corey." "Hey Dean." Renee noticed that Corey and Paige were holding hands and she gasped lightly. "Renee hun. You alright?" "Oh yeah I'm fine. Thanks Deanie. He didn't want his fans to know but he did like when Renee called him that he found it cute. "What were you guys up to?" Corey asked. "Well me and Renee were about to go out for a walk." "Sounds cool man. I was thinking on maybe going swimming later on." "Nice. Maybe I'll join you." "Sounds like a plan." "So I'll catch you later." "Yeah peace out man." Dean and Renee left the hotel and she had whispered something to Dean and he turned his head to finally notice Corey and Paige holding hands. So the elevator opened up and Paige entered as Corey followed her. "Is there ever any elevator music?" "I think that may just be some sort of cartoon thing baby." "No way. I'm sure I've heard them before." "Yes you have. In cartoons." She giggled. "No I swear I've been in an elevator and they had like some elevator music." "Eh well whatever. Oh we gotta go rent "The Bounty Hunter." "Yes yes hun I remember." "Good boy." Paige and Corey spent the night watching the movie and cuddled close together and fell asleep on the bed. In the morning Paige's phone rang. Paige simply stirred and answered her phone "Hello." "Hey Raya it's Renee. Just wanted to say congrats with you and Graves. How come you never mentioned this earlier?" "Thanks Renee, but me and Corey actually just got together yesterday. That's why I didn't tell you. I take it Dean knows then." "Yeah. We're just super happy for you guys." Paige giggled lightly. "Thank ya." "Hey maybe we should all go for a double date tonight." "I don't know. You me and Ambrose have to do smackdown and Corey has to get to Florida as well." "Oh right I forgot for a second." "We can go some other time though." "Sounds like a plan. Oh and Paige." "Yeah?" "Last night we heard that there was a noise complaint from Corey's room. Keep quiet there you too." "Wait you what?" "Calm down I was only joking." She laughed. "Well I'll see you later." "I'll see you later Renee." Paige hung up the phone. "So are we suppose to be going out with Jon and Renee tonight?" "Matt. I gotta do smackdown and then a live event tomorrow and you gotta get to Florida." "I can always go to Florida on Wednesday." "Matt it's sweet and I do appreciate it babe but we still gotta think of our jobs." "I just wish I could be with you all the time." He looked down. He knew in the back of his head that if he was competing still he could travel with her on the plane, in the car, or hell even a train or anything. "Hey." She lifted up his chin. "It's all gonna be alright. Now that we're together. We'll see each other more often. Don't forget WWE's gonna need you for Total Divas." He laughed. "Good point." "Tell you what Mattikins. Finish up at NXT on Wednesday and I'll meet you at the airport on Thursday. And then you just have to fly to Connecticut on Monday for the RAW Pre Show." "Actually good news." "What's that?" "The RAW Pre Show is gonna travel where RAW goes to again. We're gonna have the backstage fallout back again." "Really?" "Yup. That means you'll be stuck with me pretty much." "Damn well this'll suck." Paige smirked as Corey smiled and kissed her cheek. Well we better get ready. Corey packed his stuff while Paige would poke him just to be random and each time she did he would get her back. They kept laughing and then looked at the time. "Oh crap." Corey said. "Yeah we better go." They then grabbed all their things and left. Checked out of the hotel and next thing they knew they were in a taxi heading to the airport. Chapter 7 They arrive at the airport, and collect their tickets. "I guess this is goodbye." "Don't give me goodbye Matt." She kisses him as he kisses her back. "It's see you later hun. From now on that's what you always tell me before we have depart." "Yes ma'am." He smiles. "Mattikins?" "Yes Paigey." "Aren't you forgetting something?" "Oh right." He set his bags down and lifted her up as he kissed her. Her eyes widened. She hadn't expected that she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. They slowly began to pull away. "See you later baby." "Peace out Mattikins." They smiled as they went their separate ways. Corey sat down on a chair and waited for them to be able to start loading people onto the plane. Just then his phone rang. It was a text from Paige. He chuckled. "Damn I miss you already.😁." "I miss you too Paigey pie.❤️" "Damn it Mattikins you already labeled me with a cute food name. Now I need to make one for you." "You'll think of something your a smart gal. Plus speaking of food. You cooking dinner tomorrow?" "Who said I even cook in the first place?" "Well shit. We're stuck with microwaveable meals for our lives aren't we." "Those and fast food." "Whelp that kinda sucks." "Got ya. 😜 I can cook. Mum showed me how." "Nice. 😊" "When I get on the plane I'm gonna rest my eyes." "You mean sleep like a log. 😏😂😂" "That works too. 😑" "You know you love me." "I do.😍" "Matt this is so sudden. Saying I do already. I don't know what to say 😳😄." "Very funny missy. Their moving into line now. I'll talk to you later Paigey pie." "Bye hunny buns. 😘. Close enough." He smiled as he got onto the plane and sat down. Corey did as he said he was gonna do. Rest. He could only imagine how it'll be at work tomorrow. So many people congratulating him and asking him questions. But that can all wait for tomorrow. For today he was gonna rest and be prepared for the next day. Paige had met up with Renee and Dean at the airport. Those two always traveled together now. They had talked but Paige just told them that her and Corey had watched a movie and are pizza while cuddling. She didn't wanna say they had sex already in their relationship. She loved Corey and she didn't regret last night. Paige was just unsure how others would look at it if she mentioned anything about with it being only just yesterday they've started dating. They all started getting on the plane. Renee and Paige sat together while Dean, Roman, and Seth all sat next to each other. Renee then spoke to Paige. "He misses traveling with them so much." She laughed. "Guess it's like a bro thing or whatever." They had continued laughing and talking until the plane took off and they had watched a movie together on Paige's phone. Soon afterward Paige had rested her eyes for a nap before she had to go do the smackdown taping. The plane had landed and Renee woke Paige up. "Hey Paige." She started to stir awake. "Huh." "We're here." "Oh thanks Renee." They all left the plane and gathered their stuff and Paige took out her phone "Mattikins I just got off. Made it here alright.😘" "got ya babe. I'm about to start getting off the plane. Finally. I'm kinda beat." "At least you get to go home and rest I'm up and then going straight to the show." "Your gonna do great baby. Wish I could be with you there to cheer you on." "I know Mattikins but it's gonna be ok. Just know I love you. 😘❤️" "I love you too babe. Always will." "God your the absolute fucking best😍😍." Bye babe I love you." "I love you too." Corey got off the plane and got his bags together and got into a taxi as he headed to his house. He opened his door as his two dogs came running towards him. "Hey guys. Yes daddy's home." He laughed as they jumped for joy. "Oh hey Mr. Polinsky." "Sarah I told you can just call me Corey or Matt." "Oh right mom just always told me to refer to people as Mr. Or Mrs." "Yeah it's cool about her but we've grown kind of a friendship in a way so from now on just Corey or Matt. Ok?" He simply smiled and chuckled. "Ok Corey." "Alright here's the $200." Thank you Corey." "Thank you Sarah my babies wouldn't be here if it weren't for you." She simply smiled. "How's things with you and your boyfriend?" "Oh he said he was gonna take me out tonight and he says a surprise is involved." "Just be careful Sarah. Boys his age can usually wanna rush into major stuff." "I know Corey but he's a good guy." "He better cause I'll make sure he'll regret it if he messes with you." "Well thanks. I better get going." Bye Corey. Bye Dave and Katie. She left as Corey went to his couch and sat down. He then turned on the tv as Dave and Katie joined him as they laid next to each other. "You guys miss daddy?" They just kinda wagged their tails. "Well I bet you guys can't wait to see your new mommy." Katie lifted her head. "That's right Katie. Daddy's found himself a girlfriend. Your gonna love her. He spent his day just watching tv and then took his dogs for a walk and finished off his day by texting Paige. "Hey Paigey pie dear. About to put my head down for bed. Just wanted to say that I miss you and love you.😘❤️" "I'm missing you too Mattikins. I can't wait to see you tomorrow." "You'll be over here tomorrow?" "Yup. The live event I was suppose to do the place got flooded with rain. So they had to cancel the event." "Damn that sucks for those people. Well at least I get you.😚" "Absolutely babe. I'll be getting on a plane and be there when I can." "Here I'll send you the address." Corey's eyes started to get tired as he tried to stay up. "Matt just get some sleep. You can do it tomorrow. I'm sure your tired." "Damn your good. I am kinda sleepy." "I'll see you tomorrow baby. Get your rest." "Yes mil lady. I love you." "Love you too." They both laid down and went to sleep. Corey in his bed and Paige on the plane heading to Florida. Chapter 8 Corey had gotten up early and went to make some arrangements for his date with Paige tonight. Little did he know he forgot to lock the door before leaving. So when Paige arrived at his house she simply felt to joke around and turn the knob thinking that it'd be locked. When it wasn't she was confused and walked inside. "Hello. Matt?" In came Corey's dogs as they smelled Paige and happily greeting her smelling their owner/ dad. Suddenly Paige heard a women's voice. "Dave, Katie. Is that your da?" Paige open mouthed a little had no idea who this women was. A women standing in a robe on the stairs who looked like had just gotten out of the shower. "Umm. Who are." Corey walked behind Paige and tapped her shoulder. "Hey babe didn't know you were gonna be here so early." "Well I am. Care to explain who she is." "This is Sarah. She's a good friend of mine." "I can see how good a friend she is. You let her use your shower and wear your robe." "What?" Sarah realized what was happening and knew she had to explain. "No no it's not." Paige glared at her and Sarah felt a sudden chill and fear all at once. "Raya she's my friend. She walks my dogs when I'm gone. Sarah how come your using my shower though. Just curious." Paige felt sad and so mad at herself. She wasn't one to wanna cry or feel like it really. But she felt bad. She pretty much accused her boyfriend of cheating. She couldn't believe she did that. She was so in love with Corey and knew she should trust him, but the thought of losing him or hurting him made her feel so terrible. Sarah who was still shocked. She had no idea this was going to happen. "Sarah?" Corey asked her again. "Oh the warm water went out in my house. My brother used it all up and I wanted to smell super good for my date tonight." "Ah I see. Alright. Well how about you go upstairs and get dressed. I can handle things from here." She nodded and left the room. It had gotten silent between him and Paige right now. Very uncomfortable situation at the moment. "Matt I. I didn't." "Saraya do you honestly believe I'd ever cheat on you?" That question did it. Paige started to cry and jumped into Corey's arms hugging him tight. "Matt I just love you so much I don't wanna lose you. I was scared. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." She kept sobbing and sobbing. Corey had felt bad. He was surprised and saddened to see Paige looking like this. "Hey baby. Hey." Paige couldn't look at him she was ashamed and buried her head in his chest until he lifted her chin up for her to look at him. "Hey it's okay. I understand. Listen I love you, and that is never going to change ever. Your my girl. The one and only person I ever want have and to hold. That special person I can cuddle up close to at night. Only you Raya. I love you. I have for so long and I'm gonna keep loving you. For all eternity." Paige's lip quivered as she heard such sweet words come from his mouth. She could hear heart melting. Paige swallowed what seemed as if she had a rock in her throat. "Matt. I. I'm. She was cut off by Corey's lips touched hers. Paige's eyes widened. She was loving this. Just her and her boyfriend. Corey lifted her up and laid her on the couch as he got on top of her and kissed her with even more passion until he heard a noise and looked to the left of him. Next thing he knew he saw a camera crew in his living room. "Umm. Can I help you guys?" "Mattikins. Hun. They're with the Total Divas crew." "Oh." He was already uncomfortable with this whole idea. One because Corey kinda liked a private life. Two because if he's gonna make love/ have sex with his girlfriend he's gonna feel like he's being filmed for porn not out of love, but anything for his Paigey so he's gonna endure it all for now. "Babe." "Hmm?" "Just act natural." "I guess I'll. just before Corey could say anything he was cut off. "Thanks Corey for letting me use your shower." "Oh no problem Sarah." Sarah walked up to Paige and stuck out her hand "I'm sorry about earlier." Paige simply shook her head in a no motion. "I'm the one whose sorry I shouldn't have acted like that." "Well at least you care enough. Glad someone can take care of this big lug." She laughed. Paige did too. "Don't you worry I will." Sarah then left as Corey and Paige were left alone.
