What Comes After

FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER 3 MONTHS, I HAVE WATCHED THE WALKING DEAD LOL. 

AMC has the free ep for What Comes After (Available until tomorrow) I decided to reward myself after working my butt off. This episode was such a ride, I haven’t cried for so long and this ep did just that. I think rick’s “farewell” was done gracefully and with honor. Angela Kang, you are a bad butt, thank you for doing something fresh and new to the show that we always love.

Also, I’m kinsa sad that they removed the mullet, however, I feel like this’ll give a new light for Eugene and show who he is more.

I don’t know what else to say because I’ve been shook by the episode, and I am still shaking. G’day.

like RE: badass eugene, I DO like it, have been wanting to see it, but I wish they would also do the whole angle about him better wanting to study and understand the virus. I can understand him losing some interest in ‘nerdy’ stuff bc there hasn’t been access to it, but he’s also a man of science and I feel like it’s being wasted. I also get that there’s a concern not to make it too much of a sci-fi, but this is who he is. Have him gather samples from walkers, have him study them on the sly. This would’ve been a great opportunity, especially with these new walkers that are acting abnormally. Maybe it’s yet to come but like…maybe instead of throwing him in some halfbaked love triangle that probably doesn’t need to exist yall could do that? I want him to get some but I’d prefer it to be with someone who appreciates him for who he is and GETS who he is rather than someone who yeah okay cares for him as a result of proximity and time but probably not further than that. Idk.
