I'm not a big fan of white wine but I am still making the effort to try as many white varietals as I can. My first adventure with an Argentine Torrontes went surprisingly well. The Phebus Torrontes was refreshing and light with citrus flavors that didn't overpower my palate. Best of all there were no hints of oak flavor notes. This mellow White is something I could drink on its own without having to pair it with a meal. That makes me happy. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

Apothic White is a blend of chardonnay, riesling and moscato wine. It's a mellow, semi sweet that doesn't offend your palate. Initially, I was overwhelmed by the flavor of the chardonnay wine and wasn't too happy. But after few minutes the intensity of the chardonnay mellowed and I really enjoyed my glass. I will probably buy another bottle in the future.

Medium bodied red I paired with chicken lasagna. Also, was good alone.

Since it was my first time tasting Blue Bell ice cream I decided to taste more than a few flavors to see what all the hype was about. I was pleasantly surprised. Blue Bell was good not great. Of the six flavors I tasted (Moo-llenium Crunch, Butter Crunch, Banana Pudding, Strawberry Banana Pound Cake, Cookies 'n Cream, Pecan Pralines 'n Cream) Butter Crunch and Pecan Pralines 'n Cream were outstanding, followed closely by Banana Pudding. The other three flavors were just ok.

Unfortunately, I won't be consuming anymore Blue Bell because it's made wtih with high fructose corn syrup. Yikes!!!!!

Yellow Tail Sweet Red Roo wine. Enjoyed this slightly sweet wine with a bowl of tortilla chips and spinach dip. :)
