Concerts are a funny thing. I didn't feel too well yesterday, slightly feverish, couldn't lift my left arm really, actually I just wanted to sleep or at least sit somewhere and watch the concert from far away but instead got my water, sunscreen and hat and take it easy by walking around the front, only to find a spot near the stage in the middle of the sun. At least I know the venue well enough to be able to know the sun will be behind the stage by the tine the support started....latest. Couldn't sit because the security didn't want anyone to sit. So, that was that. I felt quite off by that time. I made the plan to at least hang on for one or two songs and then just go somewhere in the back. That was a well thought out plan. lol. The second the music started and @takethat entered the stage that plan was forgotten, as was the tiredness was swept away and I danced and sang along and drank my very warm water. I loved every second of it. I haven't see them as often as I should have and Howard* always was ill/injured/whatever, so I was extremely happy to see him performing. So close. I could see their faces. I loved that it was them performing their music, the band, not a huge production, no dancers, them dancing a little or more -kudos to them, it was very hot and they wore some kind of sweater in the beginning. Telling their story over the years. It was wonderful. The audience was top, too.
Never actually thought I would see them so close with so little effort (arrived only 30 min before the start of the entry because of work). I'm very lucky. Liek really lucky. Seeing some of my most favourite artists in such a short time frame - since beginning of May I saw @williamfitzsimmons, @futureislands and @nathanielrateliff. What more could I ask for? Oh yes, find some new loves. That happened, too, and will happen and I can't wait 😍
*Howard was always my crush haha
