I was listening to the Taydar podcast (episode: Bonus the ME! Video) and they mention that someone said if you watch the ME! music video backwards, you see Taylor’s 13 year career.

here is the breakdown (paraphrasing Hattie, of course): the video starts (going end to beginning) with Taylor dancing in the rain in her best dress, fearless

then we see her going through a marching band phase (You Belong With Me)

then we get her dressed up like a 60’s queen, like in the RED (era) and the color theme of the setting here is all reds!

then we get the kaleidoscope of loud heartbeats under coats (Welcome To New York-1989)

this takes her up to the roof and then we see a bunch of people with briefcases, with maybe paperwork in those briefcases?

Taylor is then forced through some clouds, some SNAKE clouds (rep?)

and finally back into an apartment with a boy where she is unhappy.

So I ask you, is this why Taylor named her new cat- NOT just “Benjamin”- but specifically, “Benjamin Button” bc that character ages backwards and we are supposed to be watching the ME! video backwards?

guys…..just hear me oUT……what if the album title is actually “city of angels” or something similar/related to LA……… hence the angel ring/stars accessories…..

and also the performance set with the lanterns….looks an awful like the LACMA lanterns in LA……
