heals my inner child by drawing some of my first ocs :3 Phase and Aalteir.

original designs from ~2012 :D they were from a story about these anthro characters in a post-human future earth trying to find out the truth of their origins. So I decided to lean into the sci-fi aspect. (also makes Aalteir's silly coat make more sense)

obviously i also listened to a bunch of breaking benjamin (thru winamp) while drawing this too to really maximise the early 2010s vibes XP

A sketch I started forever ago but deciding to post now bc idk if I'll ever finish it but wanted to share while im in my Grimwood infodumping era.

This is an early scene after Aestereoth agrees to let Ninys help out on his project, walking into his lab wall to ceiling with blackboards full of arcane mathematics and physics equations.

Mathematical notation of Magic is an old but relatively under-studied field and is still being explored by the time Aes picks it up to utilize for his research.

The Wizards of Terrin

Still in worldbuilding mode and inspired by graphical breakdowns of other people's worlds so wanted to try my hand. Starting with the main focus of my story, the wizards!! Here are all of the wizard subclasses you will find around Grimwood Academy and beyond.

There is one other subclass that is not depicted (The Dark Wizards) as well as the Sister Schools (alchemy, arcane mathematics, engineering, history etc) and I may add them in the future but I got tired haha :'D

Everyone here is a real character from in and around Grimwood Academy. Future lines ups, especially of other Magic Philosophies (if I get around to it) may require some placeholder characters.

Note: Technically, the two field wizards depicted are informally retired and work as professors. But because of how much one's sub-class affects their philosophy and approach to teaching; they typically keep their respective title.

Feel free to ask questions, I could yap about these guys for years!
