Please let's keep in mind that the abolition of slavery did not actually mean that people were free. You can shout as loud as you want and create as many treaties as you want but when people are coerced to work for little or no pay, when the system is made in a way they can only do what they are told to, for the benefits of others and not for themselves, that's still pretty much being a slave to me. We may be looking away most of the times but, slavery is still well and alive in every continent. It is contemporary issue, it is just pernicious enough to disguise itself .
