SCREENCAP MEME ↳ alexandra udinov → 3x04 “Consequences”
innocence-among-sin wants to make a deal.
She's been summoned again.
It's happening more frequently, so it seems. Which isn't really a problem for her, it just means she hardly gets the chance to sit down. But it's worth it; souls are always worth it. For now, she's found herself in a bar, only a few blocks away from the crossroads she was summoned to.
She's already bought three souls. Someone wanted a child, the next wanted riches, the third wanted to cure cancer. Not quite possible just yet--They're not quite granting that one just yet. But she managed to get the person he wanted it for all fixed up.
Today's been a good day, so far.
She's on the lookout for her next customer. But instead, comes up short. There's a vampire in her sights, though. That could be an interesting conversation.
So she approaches. Somewhat cautiously. She actually likes this vessel; can't have it torn to shreds until she grows tired of the girl.
"Tell me, dear, do vampires have souls?"
She knows the answer, of course. Just curious, as to whether the blonde does, also. Some people, to her surprise, are completely oblivious. They just don't know the answers to these sorts of questions. And she can only laugh at those sorts of people.
[By the time he blinks back, Evan is looking more than a little rumpled. The coat that he’d so jauntily thrown over his shoulder was draped over his frame. He looked a bit more worn than before
But
He was grinning.]
Pie. Pie was key. And it’s hidden. ‘Less they tear it apart with their bare hands I doubt they’ll find it.
[Needless to say, she's rather impressed.
That he made it back in one piece, of course. She was sure they'd find him and start cutting off fingers to find out who sent him.
But no. The Winchesters are getting sloppy, apparently.]
[At least she has manners?]
That's all I really needed you to do; you can run along now.
solidarius wants to make a deal.
[Oh, now that's certainly interesting.]
It's Castiel, isn't it?
Well I can’t call you to whatever you changed it to until I know it.
[It’s said easily without any real attitude. Even though he’s still getting used to his new body, his mind is already on what he needs to do. That smirk is back on his face as he glances back up at her.]
See you soon, dear.
[With that he’s gone.]
Samantha.
[And he best remember that, too.
There's a sigh, and she seems rather unaffected as he disappears. Hell, it's not as though it's anything new to her. The 'dear' is a tad annoying, though.
But there's not much she can do about it, now. No quick fired retort necessary, there's no point if he won't hear it.
So she'll just go back to sipping at her coffee.]
Looks like you made yourself comfortable, Val.
[After making sure that the coin was still safely in his pocket, he shrugged out of the jacket his vessel had been wearing.]
Like ridin’ a bicycle. Believe it or not, it took a couple tries. This guy was a fighter. But…When a guy has a pressing need. The job gets done.
Oh, about that name--I changed it.
[She can do that, you know. And she certainly has reasoning behind doing so; but the demon really doesn't think she needs to explain herself to the younger. So she doesn't bother wasting her breath.]
Well, I really don't have all day. Go on--
[She actually has all the time in the world, and she expects him to be clever and plan what he's going to do before he just jumps right in. They're in possession of one of those pesky demon-killing knives. Watch out for that?]
No worries. When have I let you down since you snapped me up.
[Never. That’s when. He may be an ass but when it comes down to it he’s good at getting the job done. So he smirks a little smirk at Val, salutes and disappears. When he comes back he’s a new man.
Literally.]
This good enough?
There's a first time for everything.
[She's really only hoping he doesn't let her down now. Now is not the time for mistakes. Or perhaps it is; and that's her reasoning for making him go instead of doing it herself.
She waits, patiently. And as the minutes tick by, she's sighing to herself, pressing her back to the wall of her apartment.
By the time he finally returns, she's settled in an armchair with a cup of coffee.]
That was quite quick, actually.
I got it boss. No losin’ the coin.
[Again he sighed, but so soft that it wasn’t even worth noticing. Already he was coming up with a battle plan of slipping in and slipping out. When she mentioned his smell, he looked up.]
Gee that couldn’t have anything to do with all those mysterious fires you’ve had me setting, now could it. What—Do you just want me to get a new vessel or something?
Make sure you don't.
[Those coins are relatively hard to come by. Not for her, of course. But she'd really rather it if someone else didn't get their hands on it. Like the Winchesters.]
The fires are absolutely necessary.
A new vessel would be lovely, actually.
[His eyebrow stays raised at that. Observe and listen in. Evan scoffed and rolled his eyes.]
So you want me to be like Old English then…Nice.
[Sighing heavily he nods and takes the coin from Val, flipping it over in his hands a few times before stuffing it in his pocket.]
Why their car?
[A sigh, as the demon stuffs her hands back in her pockets.]
And don't lose that.
--Because they never leave it behind.
[The car, she means. Sure, there was a time where they didn't touch it for... A while--A year, perhaps? But that was only a precaution. Dean would never leave it behind. Not now.]
You might be wanting a new disguise, though. You practically reek of hellfire.
[Well that’s one way of doing it. The smirk slowly slides off of his face, becoming something a bit harder.]
Your wish is my command then. What kind of information were you wanting me to find? Or is this strictly observation?
[Oh do we. Which is why he’s standing a little straighter and slipping back into his normal state when it comes to his ‘job’.]
[She's glad she didn't have to threaten him. That the mere implication did the trick.]
Just observation. Listen in, watch them, and put this--
[At that, she pulls a small, golden coin from her jacket pocket. It seems like some sort of foreign currency; odd marks etched into the metal. She holds it out for him, watching as it shines in the light.]
In their car.
One’s his angelic name. I thought you knew…dear.
[His arms fold across her chest and he shakes his head.]
No dice. I may be new to this but I sure as hell know better than to go near the Winchesters. Or their Angel. Besides…One of them had good ol’ Luci in him, didn’t he?
[Give him a little credit. A little incentive.]
[She doesn't need your sass, Evan.
But she'll let it slide, this time.]
I wasn't asking you to go.
More like, I was commanding it.
[And we all know that if it weren't for her, he'd still be rotting in hell. She brought you out, and she can certainly put you back. Resistance is futile.]

Why thank you.
[He allows himself a smirk before raising and eyebrow and letting out a low whistle.]
I have. They’re legendary. Hunters right. Flanked by…Cassiel.
Castiel, dear.
[The Winchesters intrigue her. And, of course, so do their souls.]
I want you to check up on them. I can tell you where they are. And something's wrong with the Angel, you won't have to worry about him.
[She doesn't know what's wrong--But there's talk. Hushed whispers, here and there.]
[It doesn’t take long for Evan to appear.]
Val…Has my body clean up been to your liking? Is it review time already?
You're doing a marvellous job~
[But she didn't call him here to offer praise. No, she has a favour to ask.]
Have you ever heard of the Winchesters?
[Well, look who's back.
And she's waiting patiently for a certain someone to show up~]
