here’s some poetry I wrote this morning. Wanted to feel inspired cause I’m trying to write my friend’s christmas presents

why does he hurt me so?

with his vicious claws and burning words.

I am wax and he is the flame. I need him to burn,

but at the same time,

I melt under his touch.

He touches what he wants, what he pleases, what he thinks it his.                      

But you must remind him, this is your temple. he simply chooses to visit.
