Do you ever see yourself as a father?
Definitely. It’s always been on my mind that i want a family. Lately i’ve been spending more time around kids as well and it’s more present in my mind that i’m getting older and it might be time to start thinking about adopting, on my own, instead of waiting until i find my person first.
Do you believe in any religions? Are you superstitious?
I’m not superstitious, no. My family is. My grandparents more so. It’s usually just cute and funny to watch. I have studied and have been practicing Buddhism the past ten years. I’m never sure how much to talk about it, in case it makes anyone uncomfortable. If you want to hear more about it i’d be happy to answer anything though.
What do you miss most about Italy?
La famiglia . The dinners with everyone, drinking and dancing and laughing and just having fun with people i care about. The deep conversation with my nonno. The afternoons in the kitchen, baking and cooking with my nonna. Evenings with my papà, just talking about everything. The beauty of the place. Italy is easy to fall in love with and never forget. The peace and quiet. And the fact that in Italy i always felt that anything was possible while in New York i stopped feeling that way long ago.
Do you get tired of people keep calling you Captain America or is it something you like?
I don’t like complaining about that. It’s Chris Evans. Being told i look like him is a compliment, i suppose. But who wants to be compared to someone else all the time?
Do you have any aspirations past the bar? Is there anything else you want to do in life?
The plan is to open a Bar-Restaurant in New York eventually as well. I’m happy with Hill Top, it’s more than i could have dreamed of when i first moved to New York. Publishing a book with my cocktail recipes has been on my mind as well.
who inspires you?
Salvatore Calabrese. One of the world’s leading bartenders. An award-winning global powerhouse. He is a consultant to the bar industry and select brands, a sought-after judge for worldwide competitions, and former President of the United Kingdom Bartenders’ Guild. And he’s Italian.
who is the most important person in your life?
My dad if it would have to be one person. Otherwise i’d say my dad, my family in Italy and my best friend.
Do you have a celebrity crush and if so who is it?
Henry Cavill. Have you seen that guy?

what reality tv show would you go on?
Keeping Up With The Kardashians, because that’s the only one i watch occasionally.
