- they stated on their tumblr they're able to draw "kid" older looking but simply choose not to bc theyre lazy yet dont want "people like op" to view him as a child even though the solution is right there (wish i was making this shit up) and that we're weird for viewing him that way (the classic™ line that means nothing). sorry guess its weird to not want to actively support the thought of pedophiles finding your art and liking it a little too much, actively being against content for them. ohhh the projection here is killing me.
-this is not "the fandom getting you" (them thinking that only shows how lost in this echochamber they are, which it is sick for them to even phrase that way when faced with criticism like the anxiety of possibly drawing cp? shouldnt that be an artist's top priority to not accidentally draw your character looking like a child when trading spit with another adult character? they also seem to claim this is people "blindly agreeing" or "spreading misinformation" when all that's been shown is concrete proof of what they've drawn, eluding to the fact im brainwashing people makes it clear you're not willing to intake these criticisms that have been said for quite a while and for good reason) and im sorry but theres no words "defenses" that you can say to justify this or, make people think theyre wrong (how you seem to be taking it). only action for change, as to not spread content appealing to possible sick individuals, even if that's not your intent, being safe than sorry. no apology is expected since you've stated you view nothing wrong with this so an apology would change nothing. and saddly i dont think this person is willing to change based off everything that's been said. though i really hope they do as time passes because this isn't about cancelling someone (as fucked as they seem to think it is, even referred to this as "thrash talking") its about not fucking sharing food for pedophiles, i think that's pretty obvious. people thinking this is petty drama aren't thinking about the bigger picture and just want to self preserve.
-comparing themselves to bl mangas as a "if they do it i can too" and mentioning "Chinese/Japanese fandom spaces" (which i presume its referencing lolicons in this context) ISNT A GOOD THING ? those are WELL-KNOWN problematic medias. them bringing this up only seems like they support those spaces and content which really is disappointing, because everything they've replied with really only makes their situation worse, showing that this person is set on keeping this path aswell as holding similar lolicon+proshipper ideology.
-consistency in art matters when its about threading a character looking like a child in provocative story. you are not being stoned to death when people reasonably dont like that you're ignoring this and dont want people to interact with you, you are not a victim in this, you are being criticized for something that SHOULD be a worry.
additional but not important comments: "you conveniently left out how in the very same comic kid's first reaction to kenny is his mind flashing to his previous companion-" being reminded of someone who abused you on first glance is palpably quite worse, so its not convenient for me to have left that out as it actually puts more dirt your way. im genuinely baffled by every single one of these points that they seem to think justifies them. then them thinking its odd for me to have familiarized myself with their character's story, why would i want to be uninformed when this is such a serious topic? i went through all of it from the very first introduction of this character and its been like this since day one. nobody's hating on your selfship everybody just wants you to draw him looking older, nobody *said* he's younger just that he doesn't look his age, why is he so unnecessarily woobified compared to every other adult in this story that you seem to draw normally and realistic. its SO simple to change this, actually draw his nose, dont make his eyes twice as big, make his head and neck not half the size of everyone else's, actually match the skeleton size of a person his age... these are ALL traits used to represent children in media, and theyre ALL used for your character, how does that not make you think? being short and babyfaced has nothing to do with this OR STYLE #firstdayonearth

theres already been a callout post made on this person but sadly the writer of it was harassed into deactivating, so i won't be linking it in regards of their well-being and others who've been affected.
i am not saying harass this artist either,
but i want you all to know that this is content they see no wrong in, and make, and to avoid interaction if this also makes you as uncomfortable as it does myself. even if you like the non problematic art.
twdg art is scarce, yes, but lets not turn a blind eye to things we have clear morals against. this is threading too near to that territory and i dont believe indulging in it is good for anyone.
