This past weekend Don and I were the best men to our best friends wedding. I’m 35 and this was my first gay wedding. Not to say any of the other weddings we’ve attended were lesser in importance or love or meaning, but what I witnessed and felt this past weekend struck a chord with my heart strings like no other has. I was so moved that my heart finally opened up to the prospect of marriage myself. Having a beautiful wedding was never really a dream of mine, but after this weekend, there was so much love in the room, how could it not be?
