If you were to look for another book to read after Roland Barthes Camera Lucida, in context, what would it be? What is the context?
I would read Mai Al-Nakib book The Light of Hidden Objects. A book that was inspired by many books imcluding Camera Lucida. It shows what life was life in the middle during war times and how picture help tell the story.
