TGIF || BLENRY
The bookshop had been exceedingly quiet, probably thanks to the snow and ice currently covering the New York streets. He’d spent the entire day clock-watching and fingering through several books, but had found himself bored of each of them by the third chapter and have shoved them all aside, leaving them stacked up by the cash register. He was currently chuckling the app core that had been his dinner an hour ago from hand to hand, waiting for the clock to say it was 5pm.
He hadn’t heard his phone alert him of the text, and jumped when the bell above the door rang, dropping the app core onto the dusty floor and almost toppling backwards off of the stool was perhing on behind the counter. “Jesus, you scared the hell out of me!”, he said with a smile, standing up and moving around to give him a quick peck. He checked his watch, shrugging to himself and pulling his keys out of his pocket. Emptying the cash register and placing the money in the safe, he took Henry’s hand, leading him back out the door. “No one is going to show up within the last 5 minutes of open hours”.
Henry jumped forward as Blaine nearly fell backwards from off his stool. "Crap, Blaine!" He put his hand on this thumping heart. "You scared me!" She spoke with a wide, thankful smile. His happy eyes followed Blaine as he walked around him and pecked his lips. He leaned against the counter as Blaine did all his store-closing work. Henry had a lingering smile of adoration marring his face as his eyes followed Blaine's movements. He loved seeing him in his work element-- he found it particularly attractive and adorable.
When Blaine took Henry's hand, he willingly followed and nodded. "Are you sure your boss won't get mad at you? I'd hate for you to get in trouble because of me." He spoke with concern as he led Blaine to his truck. Once they got to the passengers side, Henry opened the door for Blaine and waited for him to get in before running to his side and getting in.
