Hello, I'm 32, and I'm looking for 24+ partners to RP Silent Hill! I want to rp as Henry Townshend, preferably before or after the happenings in Silent Hill 4 (unless the other character was canonically in contact with Henry during the game; exceptions can be made but these are my preferences for now.) My Henry is bisexual, but for all effects he's a virgin (yes, a 28yo virgin, what about that? ;u; lol) You can call me M on dms or ask if you want to plan something for us to write. I really ship Henry x James, but I could do other ships if it makes sense for my muse. I really want to explore and create things around what we know from Henry. I have them hcs. I hope this is ok?

((Mmmm, since I'm doing nothing, I thought maybe, maybe adding other muses here, while keeping Henry the main one, of course.

So I will add James (Sunderland) from SH2, Walter Sullivan from SH4, Travis Grady from Origins and Lori, a Silent Hill OC I created some time ago.

Since we all know who these characters are, I'm gonna just say who Lori is:

Lori is a very young, 18 to 21-year-old woman who got lost in Silence Hill. She's a very anxious, shy girl with a lot of repressed anger. She may remind one of Eddie, in passing.

Like, she has similar issues, but she's a thin, kind of small brunette.))

"You're gonna catch a flu or something, you know?" She sighed before turning around and zipping up her bag before throwing it over her shoulder.

After the whole day of work, she felt a familiar, old exhaustion lingered on her bones as she stopped there while wrapping the other strap around her other shoulders. She blinked, spacing out for a bit before looking around, almost in shock remembering someone else was waiting for her.

"Ah," she let out, eyes widening for a brief moment, before snorting softly, "sorry, just...sometimes it feels so numb...but it's so..."

Comforting. But she didn't spell it out before glancing back at his empty eyes and then to the door.

"Let's go..." she said moving, not waiting for him as she swerved around him outside.

""James smiled softly and took the towel from her hands, appreciative of the gesture. He didn't really mind getting wet but he thought he would stress Mona out even more if he refused, she seemed very... on edge.

"Thanks." He said simply, wiping his brow and chin before putting the small towel on his shoulder.

"I'll hold this until I can wash it for you, that okay?"

He took the keys from his belt and, as they jingled in a metallic hum, he pressed his hand back on the door he just came from.

"If you're ready then we can get going."

He was much less hesitant and in his mind now, but mostly due to his droning. This 'autopilot' that overcame him made social interactions a lot easier, but also made him harder to understand. His eyes were calm and kind, but still empty. Like something in them was lost a long time ago.""

Hello, you guys can call me M and I'm in my 30s. I would love to rp Silent Hill with anyone +18/21! Since I'm not doing much of anything right now - life wise lol - I'm available every day (for now, anyway.) My favorite genres are Hurt/Comfort or/and Angst with a side of emotionally charged Smut (it can be like the start of a romance or something). I like romantic fluff too, but I think this work better for when the muns get more comfortable with each other (this is no euphemism) (Yeah, I know, but smut is…maybe not as intimate for everybody.) -> Pairings: I would really, really, really like to do OC X James Sunderland, but also James x Henry Townshend, Murphy Pendleton x OC, or Henry Townshend x Murphy. (I would play f!OC or Henry, but in canon x canon ships, I could play James or Murphy.) I have barely played these ships, I really want to. T-T I would love to play with any timeline of the games. I just don't feel especially interested on pre-SH2 scenario with dying Mary… Not that I mind dark themes, I like them but adultery or something isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Mona briefly glanced at him as he worked. He still seemed to be in some level of unneaness so she slowly lowered her eyes back to her papers, trying to tune out his small noises, checking a few books' titles in front of her to "scan them out" (manually) and then writing down the books that should be here by now but weren't.

For a moment, Mona even got engrossed at the task and didn't pay attention to what he was doing but then she felt her skin prickle just like when someone was staring at you. Her hand stilled, her shoulders tensing and coiling a little inwards before she slowly sighed, loosening up - knowing it was probably just him - and then, after half a minute, she looked up.

However, James had already turned his back to her and then came back, without the spray bottle.

She blinked. Mona should have imagined he was going to say something more but she didn't…expect it. He felt so coiled tight in tension and general uneaseness that Mona had thought - even if it was just for a second - that he would walk away, after doing his chore, without even saying a word to her.

It took a few breathes before she nodded, almost sleepily.

God, this man was really anxious and it made her anxious and trying to…No, that's silly. She should matter her own business.

Then she nodded again, somewhat jerkily:

"Yeah, I…" she looked back at her clock, "Just 20 minutes before I check out…Do you need help?" She looked back at him with a bit of shifty eyes, shyly, not wanting to push or ask too much of him. He was already…afflicted enough.

"Yeah, that'd be, uh, great. Thanks... You drove here or took the bus? I don't mind driving you."

He spoke fast, but also dragging his words, slowly, like a wet mop along linoleum floors. He realized she seemed to be uncomfortable, almost responding to his nervousness with her own anxiety... It made him feel... seen? She was so responsive, and didn't seem as judgemental as he may have imagined her to be. He seemed to relax slightly as he processed all of this, perhaps his job being done also brought him some relief. Twenty minutes of alone time should be plenty to mentally prepare for staying the night at the apartment for the first time... Together...

His overthinking came back again, his brain somewhat foggy. He looked at her hands, wondering if she was married, and was surprised to not find a ring. It makes some sense if she's looking for a roommate but, he wondered if her partner felt oddly about the arrangement, if she had one. He dreaded the idea of explaining his relationship status to another person again, the pity on their face, the awkward silence afterwards, it was all so common, and so discomforting... He looked at Mona in the eyes. This time with a blanker, but calmer look, almost like the sadness within them glossed over. And so he waited for answer, gently rubbing the tanline on his left ring finger.

"Uhh…Ok, sure," she answered quickly, then she caught herself, thinking through what he had just said, and then it dawned on her that he hadn't really asked or offered; he had mostly just…suggested the possibility. She strained her eyes, her gaze unfocused at the dark shadow under the counter. She may have blushed or not, but she definitely tensed up, unsure if she had been too forward or if she should have accepted so fast.

She gave him a sidelong glance, "I mean…if it's ok. No need to…push yourself on my account. I can just…walk. It's only a street away, right?"

Although she had already offered to help…with his things. God, why was she so…awkward? They made a dorkish pair; that they did.

Mona then shook her head before looking at him again:

"It's fine, if it's fine for you," she gave him a half smile, "I'm just…gonna finish here and I will be ready to go…"

Her eyes may have drifted to his fidgeting with his ring finger, but she looked away quick enough before focusing on his face again. For the discoloration of the skin, the relationship was long enough, and by his looks and behavior, she imagined it didn't go down smoothly, so she wouldn't really comment on it - unless someone was threatening to kill her; now that would make things different.

She had no idea what hand was for marriage. She only used a commitment ring once, and it was a whole lifetime ago.

"If you're gonna help me it's the least I could do. Don't worry, it's close, but I can't let you walk alone this late. It's dangerous, you know..."

James seemed deep in thought after his final statement, lingering on it for a moment afterwards. He felt he understood danger well... He found her nervousness and overcompensation amusing, in an ironic and hypocritical way. Somehow someone being as socially inept as him gave him some comfort. He chuckled slightly as she explained herself further, then responded,

"It really isn't a bother. I'll wait for you in the break room, I need to change and clean up... Myself, I mean, heh... See you there..."

He spoke slower now, his voice grumbly in a sleepy way. His grin faded from his face fast as he turned away to his cart, satisfied with himself for surviving the social encounter that had caught him off-guard. He pushed the cart slowly, subconciously still stroking his ring finger, and his mind wandered as the metallic creak of the cart grew ever quieter, leaving the room eventually. He thought about the danger of wandering minds, of being alone, of the dark. He wondered if Mona never felt quite safe either. If she felt the same foggy memories creep back to haunt her. James was almost surprised that he was wondering this about another person, this curiosity, felt unlike himself. He wanted to know more about her, but didn't understand why. Was it because they were going to live together? Maybe knowing more made him feel safer? Maybe... Well, who knows?

Mona felt heat creeping up her neck as he chuckled, feeling especially self-conscious, unconsciously hiding her lips from view as she rested a finger under her nose but then...James was a little awkward himself again, which... made her feel more at ease, that they definitely were in the same boat, one of awkwardness, further explaining things they probably didn't need to, but feeling too self-conscious not to.

She chuckled herself, then, nodding at his words.

"Sure thing, chief," Mona jested, saluting with her index finger before trying to finish her own task for the day (or the night?)

As she headed to the break room after those 20 minutes, her thoughts became a bit obsessive, anxious again.

Mona had never lived with someone else, someone who wasn't family and thus, that wasn't insane in their own way.

Back in the day, she would never have privacy or private moments without something happening, someone (especially her mom) getting on her nerves because of something Mona didn't care nor had the mind to.

She would never stop hearing about the cult and their God and how much of a herege she was for avoiding the whole subject. But the cult had retracted in itself and became more secretive so they didn't mind her absent and, after all, she was too old to be a good lamb now. With those thoughts, she absent-mindedly entered the break room, eyes scanning the envoriment without paying close attention to anything before she came to her locker. Is James late? She asked herself without looking close to anything.

The man creaked the door to the break room slowly, the old wood groaning under its own weight, and looked inside, immediately noticing Mona at her locker. He let out a small cough to alert her as she seemed to be thinking about something.

James seemed to have washed himself, his hair and face slightly wet along the edges, with small drops of water dripping from his neck, and wet streaks along the edges of his sleeves and collar. He no longer wore his uniform, the outer layers peeled away to reveal a more form-fitting and casual outfit. His eyes were brighter, as if his mind had been cleared. Nothing like a good cold rush of water to make him feel better. Or a beer, but, he was trying to quit...

"Hey, uh, sorry. Just came from the bathroom. You ready to get going?"

The widow seemed calmer now, the break he got really did seem to help him calm down. He was much more... "normal". Or at least looked like it.

A small jolt coursed through Mona's frame, making her shoulders jump as her mind caught up to the sound. The high-pitched noise painful, especially because she wasn't warned about it. However, Mona didn't comment on it, just slowly let her shoulders drop before sighing quietly under her breath, her head slightly lowered. She wasn't gonna start babbling about her hypersensitivity issues right now - or ever, maybe only when push comes to shove. He would probably find it annoying and stupid, like everybody else, and she wouldn't put it over his head, either, because...Well, the vast majority of people thought it was unreasonable. Mona took a few breaths before closing the locker, forgetting what she had been doing, then turning to face him. At first, she just nodded sleepily, as if she had been locked away in a dream before that; then her eyes caught the wet spots, and she frowned, tilting her head to the side. Had he washed...in the bathroom sink? Which...well, it wasn't completely unfathomable; she had done that before, but...it was almost midnight. She shook her head and took a small towel from her bag before stepping closer to him. Then Mona stopped, realizing it was probably too much, too forward.

Her lips parted for a moment, but she didn't say anything. "Can I?" she asked hesitantly, raising the towel, "Or do you want to...?"

Mona was working silently at the front desk of the public library under a soft, yellowish glow of a lamp.

Most libraries in the world and even in the United States would probably have a completely digital infrastructure by now. But this was Silent Hill. Not a ghost town yet, but not far from it either. Even though it was completely urbanized - but from the ranch area and some side, alleyway-like streets - Silent Hill was organized and felt like a countryside town.

So she was manually checking out some books when she heard a noise, like something being dragged or hitting something else.

It made her flinch and gasp for a moment as she turned her head, eyes poorly scanning the dim-lit room around her before catching someone coming in the threshold.

Mona had thought she would be here by herself, so the noise, the presence was a great startle to her, her heart still racing against her ribs as she strained her eyes, trying to see the newcomer’s face just to be hit with another sharp surprise when he came into the weak light.

“James?” she breathed out.

What was he doing here? Did…did he work here? And she didn’t know?

She looked at the clock beside her left hand, it was almost time to go, a little more than half an hour before 11 pm. She swallowed hard, feeling anxiety energizing her fingers.

They had never slept…under the same roof before.

The widow stepped into the warm glow of the desk lamp, a small metal cart squeaking beside him with assorted cleaning supplies. His yellow hazel eyes darted at the woman they beheld for a moment before locking onto her eyes, then averting to the ground awkwardly. He gulped and parted his lips before speaking, thinking hard about what to say.

"Mona...? What uh- What're you doing here? You work here?"

James looked around the desk area Mona sat in, and with a sigh clearly seemed uncomfortable. He wore a small navy blue vest and hat with the name of the Toluca library, and the word "JANITOR" boldened on his right sleeve.

"It's my first day," he mumbled, almost seeming embarrassed, his voice gravelly and rough. He looked disheveled and without sleep.

Mona snorted softly, so soft she didn't think he would have heard as her eyes migrated to him again, to his face.

It was oddly…endearing? A relief? That he was more awkward and shy than she was. For once, she wasn't the most skittish person in a conversation.

They, James and her, had mostly talked through the phone and messages; that was probably why they felt so much like strangers to each other yet again.

She worried at her lip for a moment before looking away, deep in thought.

"Yeah…" she answered after a beat, looking back at him, "Uh, I'm sort of new here, too, so…"

It was just so quiet and dark in there; it felt oddly intimate. She supposed that this also made James feel embarrassed and out of place. While it made Mona…feel more comfortable. Like she wasn't under the spotlight here, and there wasn't a crowd around to judge her.

After a moment's hesitance, she got up.

"You don't…" she started before touching the library counter's top, anchoring and busying herself with it, before she tilted her head to the side as if to see his eyes. "I forgot to…mention it." She gave him a half smile in a softer voice.

He closed his mouth tersely and took a deep breath before looking her in the eyes, then the floor, then her eyes again, then the floor again, all so quickly. Turning to his cart he grabbed some rag and bottle before returning, this time much closer to the front desk.

"Well anyway, I just um... Need to clean the desks. Th- the one you're on. And then I'm done. So uh. You mind? If I?"

He waved his arms open to convey the space he needed, an awkward half-grin curling the corners of his mouth and stubbly cheeks. His face was much more illuminated by the light now, his eyes almost glowing, and yet still so dark. He had wished he would have been alone for his entire first night, but figured of course something like this would happen to him. And of all the people he wanted to see at this moment, Mona was one of the last. He had planned to clean himself up before seeing her, maybe even get some sleep, but he knew it was far too late. And so his question lingered awkwardly in the stale library air as James wondered if she thought he looked as bad as he felt.

Mona blinked rapidly in an almost daze at his reaction, her hands curling reflexively around the hard wooden top before slowly loosening their grip. She hadn't expected him to change the subject so fast and so abruptly. In a way, she was… she felt a little hurt? Dismissed, but then…

From her nose, air escaped unexpectedly, just as out of the blue as his dismissal of her early words, in a gesture of surprise mixed with soft disbelief before she started slowly but surely, bit by bit snorting a laugh, lips stretching in a grin before she closed her eyes, shaking her head.

She then turned back to her chair and desk below to sit back down. She dramatically but quietly raised her hands in "surrender" before sitting, her back to him.

"I guess you do what you have to do, right?" she said quietly, a hint of amusement there, like the whiff of a flower, as she sat. She watched him work briefly, absentmindedly, before turning her gaze back to her papers as he was obviously having a hard time; she wasn't the sort to press harder when someone started squirming…unless they deserved it or had a beautiful smile on.

Most libraries in the world and even in the United States would probably have a completely digital infrastructure by now. But this was Silent Hill. Not a ghost town yet, but not far from it either. Even though it was completely urbanized - but from the ranch area and some side, alleyway-like streets - Silent Hill was organized and felt like a countryside town.

So she was manually checking out some books when she heard a noise, like something being dragged or hitting something else.

It made her flinch and gasp for a moment as she turned her head, eyes poorly scanning the dim-lit room around her before catching someone coming in the threshold.

Mona had thought she would be here by herself, so the noise, the presence was a great startle to her, her heart still racing against her ribs as she strained her eyes, trying to see the newcomer’s face just to be hit with another sharp surprise when he came into the weak light.

“James?” she breathed out.

What was he doing here? Did…did he work here? And she didn’t know?

She looked at the clock beside her left hand, it was almost time to go, a little more than half an hour before 11 pm. She swallowed hard, feeling anxiety energizing her fingers.

They had never slept…under the same roof before.

The widow stepped into the warm glow of the desk lamp, a small metal cart squeaking beside him with assorted cleaning supplies. His yellow hazel eyes darted at the woman they beheld for a moment before locking onto her eyes, then averting to the ground awkwardly. He gulped and parted his lips before speaking, thinking hard about what to say.

"Mona...? What uh- What're you doing here? You work here?"

James looked around the desk area Mona sat in, and with a sigh clearly seemed uncomfortable. He wore a small navy blue vest and hat with the name of the Toluca library, and the word "JANITOR" boldened on his right sleeve.

"It's my first day," he mumbled, almost seeming embarrassed, his voice gravelly and rough. He looked disheveled and without sleep.

Mona snorted softly, so soft she didn't think he would have heard as her eyes migrated to him again, to his face.

It was oddly…endearing? A relief? That he was more awkward and shy than she was. For once, she wasn't the most skittish person in a conversation.

They, James and her, had mostly talked through the phone and messages; that was probably why they felt so much like strangers to each other yet again.

She worried at her lip for a moment before looking away, deep in thought.

"Yeah…" she answered after a beat, looking back at him, "Uh, I'm sort of new here, too, so…"

He hits the concrete with a loud cry of pain, the vision goes blurry but the radio is still on his belt, secured and safe, James checked in hurry. Trembling fingers slide down along his thigh, fumbling for the source of the wound and there it is… wait, is that..?

An arrow. Painful to touch when James tries to rip it out of its nestled place in his flesh, bright under the faint sunlight. And here James thought there’s no one living in this city, not even one single soul but someone is here, someone put an arrow in their bow and shot him! But..why?!

His tired eyes search around in the mist, groaning when pain shoots up the wounded muscle as he tries to stand with the limp leg. Bleeding all over the asphalt “hello?!” he curses himself, trying again “hey! Look, I mean no harm! I’m just..” he extends both hands, if it’s another lost survivor they could see he’s not armed “I’m lost! Just like you! I- I think we can help each other?” unless they’re another hallucination that are after killing James. A shiver runs down his back thinking that pyramid head maybe shot that arrow.

"Fuck..." Mona grazes her upper teeth over her lower lip, annoyed and feeling a tinge of guilt. She didn't mean to thrust the arrow into the middle of the stranger's flesh...Not really.

She was aiming at something much less dramatic, but alas.

At first, she walks toward him slowly, but then Mona realizes that he won't be able to attack her, even if he wanted to - and she doesn't want to stay here more than she needs to. She snorts softly, bitterly under her breath as she takes speed running to the man. Goddamnit! Another problem.

When she gets close, her eyes dart to the wound. Yeah, it sure made a hole...

She shakes her head before glancing up to his face, looking him up and down, as if trying to judge how much of a threat the guy is, and how much shit she will be willing to deal with.

It's almost ridiculous how...he tries to bargain with her from the get go.

"Lost...!" Mona huffs in sarcasm, smirking a bit before shaking her head, her right hand coming up to stroke her tired eyes.

She sighs before taking off her scarf and throwing it at him in the general direction of his neck and face:

"Hold it tight against the wound..." It's a begrudge advice, her crossbow still high enough to be threatening.

He even seems like a decent sort of guy right now, but... Mona knows better. She knows what they are here for (a general understanding of it), plus she needs answes for what had just happened.

But first things first, she needs to keep him awake.

She's a 30 something woman with mid black hair and dark eyes. Mid stature for a woman, thin and somewhat curvy.

Now the BG:

She's some sort of cult child, but a very uhh loosen cult child, because she was born when the cult (as we know) was dying, so it was like some sort of like loosen catholic bg.

Mona now lives all by herself in room 209-208 in the Blue Creek Apartments (yes, it's the lyne house)

In the version she meets James, she is startled out of her mind when he shows up in her room and almost kicks him out immediately and forever.

As a cult child, the monsters-spirits of SH tend to stay clear from her. Like pets who already know/sense/smell her connection to the cult's God (or demon). They may come closer, but they will cringe away in disgust or fear.

In a sort of humoristic and even "burocratic" way, there are "specific" seasons where the town calls the guilt to make a little soul searching there. Mona knows all about that and stay inside during these seasons as much as she can.

When she wants to get away from the gloomy town, or be less lonely, she goes to Ashfield or Brahms, the last one is where she works.

Mona is autistic, introvert and shy, but when she feels a little comfortable, she can be v dramatic and sarcastic, and make weird-inappropriate questions; she's too curious of things.

But she's very sensitive, so she will stay clear from stuff that she knows will hurt someone else.

Mona also has a way...guardian angel? Sort of like Meg from that horror movie (i didn't watch lol)?

She used to pray to the Gods and all, but like it was for Alessa, they didn't really hear them........BUT, Mona got one of the spirits to her side, so the spirit sometimes helps her here and there.

OFC the spirit can be....a menace as they normally are like in SH

Sorry I have not answered this before bc I thought I didn't have much to add (at the time, and could potentially say more later) but...

But when I put my hcs on my ao3, I realized a few things and I added this:

I've noticed I have said more than once that Walter "should be trained"... like seriously, I don't think he's a himbo, but after what the Order did, brainwashing him and shoving a hammer on his social skills, etc, I feel like Walter would sometimes "learn" faster through training than otherwise...I mean, I bet that's what he has always known by the cult, to follow orders or be punished.

He wasn't thought to think, even more critically and be autonomous/independent.

Whiiiiiich led me to something I didn't add on the ao3 work:

Walter is the only child of the cult with (in thesis) no family ties to Silent Hill.

Idk much about SH3 characters (I played the game once but I didn't go digging for more info), but I'm pretty sure every other child had a family, as distorted and abusive of a family/household as it could be, but these kids had a reference, they may even received some affection and felt some security...

Walter didn't.

Walter is the kid trained to be a sacrifice/a weapon but while Alessa had some sort of family, he was always only a means to an end, an object, a thing molded in a certain way with no emotional support but other kids at best.

It dawned on me another level of fucked up about his upbringing and why to be trained felt...like the way to get him to "comform" to normal conditions 🫠
