Shout out to ALL the Hufflepuffs
From the ones sporting flower crowns to the ones wearing leather. The ones dressed in pastel to the ones dressed in black. Ones that can’t say a mean thing if their life depended on it and ones that roast so hard it makes professors cry.
Some that can talk to people as easily as breathing to the shy, socially awkward introverts. From those loving life in every way possible to ones living with anxiety and depression.
Hufflepuffs who cry over puppies. Hufflepuffs who don’t cry at all. Hufflepuffs that scream the message of peace. Hufflepuffs that shout “fight me” and mean it.
Those that are strong and brave, yet smart. Those that are tough, yet sensitive and caring.
Smiles so bright they make the sun waver. Smirks so cocky Sirius Black himself would applaud. Eyes so soft kittens are jealous. Glares so intense they could kill.
Laughs so loud they’re heard throughout the castle. Humor so dark Bellatrix would be impressed.
Ones that can duel. Ones that can charm. Ones that can brew.
Those that are muggle born, half blood, or pure blood.
The ones that are straight, gay, bi, pan, ace, trans, however they identify.
Those that have a mom and a dad, or just a mom, or just a dad. Those that have two moms or two dads, or none at all. Those in a group home or with adoptive parents, living with aunts or uncles or grandparents or friends.
Those who say “fuck you” to house stereotypes and hang out with the “evil slytherin”.
They have seen Gryffindor calm, Ravenclaw laugh, and Slytherin cry.
Shout out to the Hufflepuffs… that’ll teach the lot and treat them just the same.
