Being a chronically online tumblr user in creative academia is so funny.

I’ve had to explain to at least four people with PHDs what the muppet joker is.

I had to tell my practicum supervisor I might miss a session due to a concert. When he asked for what I had to explain who Hatsune Miku was.

Speaking of Miku for a music and cultures course I convinced my professor to let me do my final project over vocaloid. I gave the presentation in class.

I had to figure out how to cite ICarly in APA7 format for an academic paper.

I put a Gabbie Hannah reference in the comments of a composition I was working on and had to explain that to a professor.

I altered the final line "That they may yet return to me my Muppet Love" to "That they may return to me my love" in order for it to have the same number of syllables as the previous lines, and therefore fit into the pseudo-quaternary form I composed it in.
