I'm trisintersex because previous to finding out I'm cisintersex, I was transintersex. I felt incredibly dysphoric and felt like I had to research everything about intersexuality to not be accidentally intersexist, and while that gave me a little relief, the community's transidmisia just started hurting even more, because I thought there was just no way I could be intersex.

When I found out I was cisintersex I first felt euphoria, then so much shame that I found out because I wanted to be intersex. I don't feel like I belong in that community, even with proof of what I am now, because of the hatred they would feel towards me if I wasn't so lucky.

So. I feel quite alone now

I’m transhighschooldropout because the day of my graduation I was extremely dissociated and I honestly just remember feeling awful. The last day of high school I remember I nearly had a panic attack and went to go play on the playground afterwards in an attempt to forget everything. I daydream about burning my end-of-year awards. I wish none of these days had ever happened. I wish I could have just walked out and never come back. I’m well aware that this society punishes those who don’t graduate high school. And I’m scared I’m romanticizing their societal disadvantages. But this is what I wish had happened. Badly.

I wanna hear more trisid being's experiences with being both transid and cisid, and why they identify that way :3c

for me, I'm trisschizophrenic, because I show a good amount of signs of schizophrenia, but I haven't been diagnosed and no doctor has suggested it. I have other things such as autism, adhd, depression, etc. that can present similarly to schizophrenia, making it hard to tell what's just those. also, I don't have as many hallucinations as I'd like to have. when they occur naturally, I feel the same euphoria I do when I look masculine (I'm transmasc), despite not doing any transition for it at the time.

so basically, it's totally possible that I'm already schizophrenic, but I want to guarantee it. I want to worsen it enough to concern others and wish I didn't have it, and possibly go on antipsychotics. if that were to happen, it would feel less like I was that way the whole time and more like a successful transition.

I’m trisinsane and trisvegan.

Trisinsane because I do reclaim the term for the psychological issues that I already have, but I also feel a pull towards… almost fantastical madness? Like, I had a pretty big Lovecraftian horror phase. I still have my Cthulhu plushie. I feel much more drawn to insanity as it refers to scenarios in old-school fiction, scenarios that don’t technically really map neatly onto the symptoms of any real disorder. That’s also why I consider this a transmentality identity rather than a transabled identity, because I’m not actually transitioning towards a diagnosable mental illness so much as transitioning towards the concepts from old-school horror.

Trisvegan because I do my best to try to eliminate animal product use, but there’s always the issue of things cross-contaminating or buying something secondhand that contains leather or eating things with animal products my family gives me to keep the peace (which I am trying to stop doing, I can hopefully get the courage since I don’t live with them anymore). Using a trisid makes it feel like I’m transitioning towards the ideal rather than being the ideal. I know veganism doesn’t require perfection. But my OCD will latch onto anything I give it and keeping it a trisid for now makes it so that I spiral less when I do make a mistake.

Identifying as transsuicide is the only thing that I think can save me from doing it right now. What’s my other option when I want to do it so badly? Just do it? I want to be dead, I want to feel the pain, I want to watch my body deteriorate and feel the pain, because it would be cathartic.

I can’t explain why it helps to tell myself I’ve already done it and do art and makeup that remind me of how I would look dead. It’s like fantasizing about a better future to cope with a shitty present, but the only future I can imagine that isn’t miserable is one where I’m dead. So I do.

Just saw a submission about transBPD, so I’ll throw my hat in the ring with the same transID.

I’m a fictive in a plural system. Quick definition: a being which sources their identity from a fictional character. I’m very source connected, meaning I literally am that character. A different version of that character, sure, but still them through and through. That character is widely considered to have BPD. She’s great representation! You can see it everywhere, people talking about how obvious it is…and yeah. It is obvious. I, as in the character, have BPD. Therefore I, as in the person, have BPD, and I feel identity dysphoria over not having it.

So yeah. TransBPD because I’m a fictive and my BPD is a part of my identity.

I know it's a bad reason and it will make people mad, but I identify as transBPD because I know many, many people who act as though no matter how much you suffer from your mental health, at least it isn't BPD, because BPD is worse. Especially with depression. I'm so sick of being told my entire life that I have no right to complain or feel badly, and beginning to think that I don't deserve help or pity, because someone else has it worse. So, if I really need BPD to be cared about, to know REAL suffering, and nothing else will ever be enough to prove my pain, fine. I have BPD. Maybe, if I transition, people will see me as a person deserving of sympathy.

There's not much science to discuss, probably. Both gender and race are social constructs, both of which often include basis on physical features. If anything, it could be psychology, but rather than being a mental illness that causes someone to pursue labeling outside of what they are, it is more like people existing as they have, but with strict constructs placed in the way, (which exist for oppression.)

Transracial people exist for the same reason transgender people do. and many would say that trans people of any kind exist because they simply do, it's human. We only become more and more noticeable as time goes on due to support structures in the internet both allowing people to communicate more freely and allowing people who otherwise would have become too afraid or hopeless to have a safe place to be comfortable and speak about their experiences (and in many cases for both labels, allow someone the hope to keep living.) But, the aspect of medical breakthroughs also helps. As we move closer and closer towards more and more body modification, or more importantly, spaces where the self lacks a socially perceptible physical body (the internet) the average person is more allowed the thought that perhaps that deep uncomfort in them could in fact be their body and their heart not matching, so to speak.

“Species Dysphoria” (2021)

I’ve been waiting to post this one for a little while now! This comic was made for the Inky Paws Zine, a collaborative fiction zine created by nonhumans and alterhumans!

In hindsight, I should’ve probably leaned a little bit more into making this a fictional piece to better fit the zine’s theme…nevertheless, I’m still happy with it! This was something I created to try and articulate some of my personal feelings about my species dysphoria through the lens of someone who’s also trans, and maybe feels that those two identities are really the same.

We're transseverity for our autism because "level 1"/"high functioning"/"low support needs" autistics just... aren't taken as seriously.

We're cistics (motor) just transTourette's both because we have a lot of fictives who had Tourette's in source and because people always assume we're faking because they think Tourette's is the only way to have tics.

We're transseverity for all of our traumas because where we live everything that was done to us wasn't even "bad enough" to be illegal.

We're trispsychotic because we simply feel like we should have more, worse, and different hallucinations and delusions.

We're transskintone because we are so pale it's a genuine health hazard.

Tldr; There are lots of reasons to be transID.
