Unpopular opinion:

You can just claim you’re trace. You don’t have to do any research or even transition. If you feel in yourself that it’s a part of your identity, you can just identify that way. I saw somebeing saying that some beings weren’t “putting effort” into their trace identity, and like, that’s okay! You don’t have to transition, just like you don’t have to transition if you’re transgender. Idk why somebeings feel the need to police other beings’ identities; that’s not what our community is about…
