[Mod] Now that I’ve got some free time and had a little bit of a relaxation weekend, I mustered the motivation to sketch this cutie. No ETA on a real update because what I’m trying to do is just a struggle all around, I might go after some sillier asks and do some little one-off updates to get back into the swing of things so if you wanna ask some goofy stuff of anybody in the cast Now’s a great time to do it!

Twilight: Queen Cadence rules over the Crystal Hearth to the north. Once, our lands were peaceful and distant neighbors, but at around the advent of the curse, She began to send hunters and assassins to our lands. Lady Luna was very gravely wounded in one such attack. Ever since, Lady Tia has taken it upon herself to assist the royal guard, who patrol the border, whenever she is able.

~~~A fanged Unicorn Guard limps to the door and slumps against it’s frame. 

“Lady Tia!” He croaks, “another of the Queens hunters... from the north.” 

~”Girls, tend his wounds, I must away at once.”

~”We’re to see Miss Sparkle’s friends just now. They’ve been helping with her research into the curse and have taken their symptoms in stride.”

~~~Lady Tia opens the door to reveal an otherwise private fitting.

Rarity: “Pinkie, hold still darling.” Pinkie: “I’m trying!”

[Mod] Sorry, couldn’t make an update this weekend again, on thursday I had to fly out to CA to see my Grandpa, he’s not doing too well so my brother and I decided to visit him ASAP. 

Since I wanted to let y’all know what’s up and not just vanish for a while, have some concept work i did when this blog was in pre-pro

[mod] sorry, not a story post. I got real distracted this weekend with schoolwork and with Warframe. I did have the time to work on this at like, 3am two nights in a row though so, have the captains new design.

I’ve got a bunch of real big projects i need to do for school going on r/n but like, honestly if I could stop wasting all my time on gamez i’d be a lot more productive, let’s hope I have the strength of will next weekend :P

Twilight- “Pretty recently, ponies all over have started to change like Ms. Shimmer here, though, not all as suddenly. My friends and I are trying to find the source... and maybe a cure.”

~”Twilight is the only afflicted alicorn. Her experiments seem to have weakened her immunity. Normally, the ballance of pony magics in an alicorns body would protect her from the curse, as it has myself, and as my blood now does for many of my little ponies.

~”Captain Shimmer will be relieved of her duties until such a time as she becomes accustomed to her new form. Though the blood will help her heal, she will likely ache when she wakes.”

~”We’re not yet sure what all manner of transfigurations are taking place. Though few seem afflicted as of yet, they are spreading. We are doing what we can to help with the transfusions.” 

Tia and Twilight administer the small amounts of alicorn blood first to the most bestial of ponies. 

Twilight: “There are some cowards who dare to blame Lady Tia for the outbreak, but most of us remain loyal!”

~”No matter their feelings towards me, I will do all that I can to protect them, even from themselves.”

~”In fact, Twilight is just the mare we need to see.”

~”Ms. Sparkle, How are you and your friends progressing?”

“My new wings are still vestigial and no longer ache. Rainbow Dash grows more scales each day, she claims they make her more ‘aerodynamic.’ Rarity has developed some sensitive lumps she simply complains are ‘unsightly.’ Pinkie Pie is a bit thinner and taller. And while both Fluttershy and AppleJack still show no visible symptoms, AJ has complained about a “squirming” beneath her skin.” 

~”Very well, we’ll begin the transfusions once we check up on the others…”

Lady Tia follows Twilight into the medical ward.

~”Forgive me, Miss Pie, I was simply startled. No bell tolls and yet you’ve been summoned here? Or did you simply invade? No matter. To answer your questions, my favorite pastry is strawberry shortcake, my little messenger here is Jeffrey and he enjoys banana splits, though the milk has been difficult to come by these nights.”

Pinkie walked with Lady Tia for a short distance down the throne-room hall before vanishing as suddenly as she had appeared.

“Lady Tia, Lady Tia! You’ve received a missive!”
