Percy's arc as a hero revolves around Nico. Percy claimed the first great prophecy to save Nico's life, and was fully prepared to die for him in tlo. Eight. Tyson
Tyson is one of the youngest characters in the show and criminally underrated. He has the sweetest relationship with Percy. He's incredibly smart and accomplished and some how only like. 3 people realize this?

Nine. Clarisse La Rue
Clarisse La Rue is one of my favorite characters in the show. She's badass, tough and vulnerable all at the same time. Her character has so much depth for the few scenes that she's in.

Ten. Hazel Levesque
Imo, Hazel has the potential for most interesting character arc in HoO. If not for Percy's COA, she would've been by far the strongest demigod in HoO. She's also incredibly sweet with her friends/family and yet tough against her enemies. What's not to love?

Eleven. Thalia Grace
In TTC, Thalia had more main character energy than Percy himself. Imo she's an incredibly well written character, and has an incredibly underrated friendship with Percy. Let's not forget that it was these two (plus a few others) that started the biggest joke in the fandom!

Percy/Annabeth's relationship is full of flaws and unhealthy behaviors. Controversial opinion, but I don't think they make a good couple and I think they should break up. Do Not Interact if you disagree. If you agree/are questioning if they're a good couple or not, feel free to check it out here.
I understand this type of content can be upsetting for some, so if you want to follow me without seeing any Percy/Annabeth critical posts, block the tags "anti percabeth" and "anti annabeth chase". All of my Percy/Annabeth critical posts have those tags, and I'm very consistent with tagging.

Judoflip makes me mad and sick, but one thing that saddens me is Annabeth doesn't know Percy no longer has Achille's curse.
So, she flipped her boyfriend on his back, on his curse spot. She knew that would kill him or badly injure him, but that didn't cross her mind. Call me dramatic or whatever, but that's attempted murder. Intended or not.
Like, ma'am, were you trying to kill your boyfriend?
She's really lucky his curse spot was gone, or she'd have a corpse in her hands. You know, for the daughter of Athena, she's not very wise and lets her emotions control her.
Then, sweet Percy apologizes to her because he loves her. On the other hand, she doesn't apologize back.

Fuckin hell, I'm trying not to hate Annabeth, but she's making it really really hard. I want to be fair to her, but at the same time, I don't care if she gets shit on.
What the fuck is wrong with you? Your boyfriend was KIDNAPPED, battered, and brainwashed. Your first fucking instinct is not to hold him and embrace that warmth that you missed, to not kiss every part of his face, to not show him that he matters--- NO, on autopilot, you JUDOFLIP him, embarrass him, threaten him with an audience.
What a shit thing to do. I pray to God Percabeth breaks up. I don't care. Annabeth doesn't deserve him. Rick, please do Percy a solid and give him a happy breakup because he doesn't deserve this.
honestly I wouldn't go as far as to say that she doesn't deserve ANY friends (she seems chill with Reyna and Piper - until she's bashing Percy with them). usually it's your friends or parents that are the ones you listen to most and goodness knows that Annabeth isn't gonna learn how to be a better person by herself, especially considering that her fatal flaw is "I'm the best I can redesign the world to be better than the gods."
but I'd say she doesn't deserve any significant other(s) until she learns how to respect them. or maybe it's just Percy she doesn't respect because she's canonically said "I only attack my boyfriend like that." but yeah - she doesn't deserve his friendship or romantic love.
it hurts so bad to know that everyone ostracized percy as soon as poseidon claimed him. knowing he couldn't control who his dad was. it hurts even more upon realizing that a lot of the older campers knew of and/or heard of thalia, a big three kid who gave her life to protect her friends and big three kid who zeus ordered to stand protecting the camp in the final moments of her death. and by shunning percy. welcoming whatever fate the gods bestowed upon him without a care. and the worst of all is we learn that at least some, if not all, of the head counselors in tlo were campers who knew of the great prophecy long before and during percy's time at camp.

my dislike of shovel talks being accepted as a perfectly reasonable thing to threaten someone's significant other š¤ my totally minor obsession with characterizing poseidon as a norally dark character who's only good to select ppl (usually his kids, lovers and some relatives).
I swear to GOD had it been Rachel who judo-flipped Percy for disappearing, y'all Annabeth stans would start calling her a horribly abusive asshole who clearly doesn't deserve him.
Accordingly to Mythology Apollo and Poseidon were close relatives, they had a few conflicts like the one in Dionysiaca and during a time in Troy after Apollo sided with the Trojans, but mostly Poseidon and Apollo usually got along very well.
So... Hummm. As it is someone Poseidon deeply cares about, maybe he wouldn't be so lenient. But as far as I know Poseidon didn't care when Apollo was in a love relationship with a few of his daughter during the centuries. Ourea the nymph comes in mind.
What I believe is that It could go eitherway. Once Poseidon gets over his "mama bear" mode, in which he would be suspecting every Apollo's move - he knows how the Greek Gods behave and act towards romance - in my interpretation he might as well be indifferent, but still keeping a close eye on Apollo and Percys well being... Just in case. Suspicious and cautios.
On the other hand, Apollo caused suffering to Evadne, another one of Poseidons daughter, when she got pregnant with his son, Iamus, she had to run from her home and unwillingly abandom him in the wilderness.
For what I read, it seemed consensual. And there is no mention of Poseidon being mad on his daughter behalf.
The idea Apollo only had love relationships that ended in tragedies is a bit incorrect too. He had many lovers in which ended happy. Cyrene, Rheoe, Admetus, Ourea for all we know. And these were like... Millenia ago. We dont know what happend later on in Rick's verse, but I bet he had a few more people he loved dearly. For example, Poseidon did love Sally and highly respects her even after Sally followed her life.
Apollo might as well have loved someone in this time break.
Why am I saying all that? Because during a fanfic, would be cool Poseidon and Apollo remembering this and tracing parallels with the situation with Percy.

It depends on the drama you would like to write, honestly.
Maybe he would threat Apollon with something that he holds dear. "You harm my child. I will harm yours." And threat them with a curse as they would never find a safe place in the water in case something happens to Percy.
Or it could be more direct "Cause any suffering to Percy, and I will throw you to the pit of Tartarus myself, Phoibus."
Option a) I can see Apollos temper exploding and in option b)be careful, offended but not surprised.
If you follow ToA personality, he could be scared.
considering that Percy is Poseidon favourite child and how much Percy has been through in his very short life, I think yes. especially since Apollo is a god and if there's physical hurt it could be so much worse than if Percy dated a regular demigod or mortal. not saying it would happen - just, poseidon worrying about the worst case scenerio. might just be me and my totally minor obsession with protective poseidon tho XD
oh man there used to be a massive perpollo discord that was rumored to have a thousand ppl. I think it shut down a couple months ago tho. I know Iles of the Blest have specific ship channels if there's at least 3 ppl requesting it, so they'll probably have something. also @aroaceleovaldez keeps track of all the fandom infrastructure discords tumblr blogs etc. so check out their page?
Iām satisfied with the sand background. Iām still getting used to Photoshop and painting but overall I love this. So much. I hope you guys like it too.
