If I’m correct in an assumption that the bees are in fact minions of a certain abnormality, the workers themselves should be about HE? Their boss is a WAW, though.

Oh, those are classifications that tended to be used in the old L Corp for the abnormalities. Although they don’t lend well to being informative in terms of combat strength on average, they’re like rough categorizations that can give maybe an idea? HE is smack dab in the middle of five risk levels, WAW is the step above that.

Might I ask what his own EGO is?

I’d specifically think if it either involves flowers or something beelike, that may be a large factor.

”FLOWERS! That’s it! His EGO produces like a LOT of flowers and stuff! Maybe that’s why they took him!”

So, he’s somehow ended up with Wingbeat and Crimson Scar, and also has personal EGO?

I don’t quite think either of those would attract bees likely to be part of an abnormality, so it’s likelier it involves whatever his personal EGO is.

“Red Riding Hood” has two possibilities I’m aware of, it’s either Crimson or Cobalt Scar, Cobalt’s actually based on the wolf.

”Yeah! Wingbeat! That one!”

“For the second one…I think it’s Crimson Scar? Only cuz he looks very….red in that EGO.”

What sort of EGO does Ardor have?

”I know he has the Fairy EGO after the Fae Incident…I think has some sort of like…Red Riding Hood EGO?? Again, I wasssn’t there for that.”

If one remains entirely distorted for a long period—I don’t actually know how long—they cannot be reverted any longer, and lose their sense of self as far as I’m aware, essentially becoming an abnormality.

Anyway, I meant personal EGO, although equipment that may have been acquired would also be useful information.

“Wow! Haha that’s. Uhm. Hm. I’m going to not think about that!”

“But uh yeah, Ardor does have his personal EGO! So uhm…yeah.”

Does Ardor have anything curious going on, possibly EGO or some form of distortion? That could be a factor, abnormalities actually have a similar origin. In fact, if one remains distorted for long enough, they can turn into an abnormality themself—fascinating, isn’t it?

”Huh…I…don’t really know, actually! I know that he has like…three EGOs…one of them is his actual one, and two of them were gotten in these REALLY weird situations, haha, though I wasn’t there for one of them. Honestly I…don’t really know much about him in general…there’s also the…bloodfiend thing too which is weird??”

The Hive

”…Where the hell am I?”

[A hive. A large, beehive, in fact. Worker Bees are all around him in a frenzy, yet none try to attack. As if he’s welcome there.]

[He coughs as he breathes in the spores that flutter through the air like pollen. Through his coughing, he can spot more Worker Bees carrying headless corpses to and fro, possibly sustenance for themselves. He doesn’t know. Not a horrid sight to see in the city, but accompanied by those…things…he recoils.]

[He coughs again. Daffodils begin to unfurl from his hair, signaling a future change.]

[They need you, o knightly prince. Find their queen, so they may prosper.]

[A flutter of bees come forward to him. With shaky breaths, itching at his neck, he subconsciously points outward.]

[They flutter out. Ardor continues to cough as he waits for rescue.]
