The Badder had just strolled up to the door of the small office, ready to go back into hiding after stretching his legs. He turned the knob, and upon entering, he saw a shocking scene. Spectre-like creatures were roaming in a more physical form. A confused noise came from his mouth as he shut the door and looked closer.
They were physical beings, of course, but not like any he'd ever seen. Minus the pile of kittens, he supposed. Smaller Judges. But there were more, and he was both excited, and terrified.
What if these were ducks, all ready to launch an asssault on him? Maybe not, they don't look smart enough. He looked yet closer.
A group of lumpy little green things that looked vaguely like Zacharie's mask hopped over. They were glassy, fat, and looked very soft, in a slimy way. He liked admiring their eyes, with their sideways pupils.
A little further away was what the Judge described as his worst enemy. It looked too harmless, though, a grinning, panting face looking at him with intelligent, heterochromatic eyes. A rather fluffy animal, that was whitr and black, with long hair and brown tinges. A name tag on it read "Mr. Man." a beautifully redundant name.
Next to the other dog was a shaggy animal with another dopey grin, chewing on a rubber bone. Her fluffy coat was mostly grey, with brown and black hints, black markings around her eyes. Her name tag read "Luna", a seemingly common misspelling of the word Moon.
In a few tanks, he saw water, and his heart began pounding. This was a trick, a trap, surely. But within the water tanks were small animals with fins and hard shells on their backs. A few of them lay out of the water though, and he was in love. The small creatures were absolutely adorable.
There were multiple kinds of fish, as well, though he didnt pay them much attention because two stinky, long, furry noodles with snouts gazed at him from across the room.
Along with them, there were little round beasts that roamed in tanks full of what looked like tiny chips of a substance he didn't recognize. He couldn't see them on account of the fact that they were burrowing.
And there were small things he immediately called babies inside his head, little round fuzzy things with long pink tails and buck teeth and small legs.
They were all adorable, but he was terrified. He hoped there would be guidance because he so badly wanted to pet all of them, but he was so afraid. Perhaps he should just admire from a distance.
