Help Make a Difference!

Hello everyone, my name is Anjie. I am participating in the Heart Walk & Making Strides Against Breast Cancer! I am fundraising for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. All proceeds will go to those non-profit organizations.

Thousands of people die each year from heart disease, breast cancer & other forms of cancer. They are the top leading causes of death in the United States and a lot of the cases are preventable. However, many do not know how to lower their risks for these chronic diseases.

The funds that the organizations receive will be used towards increasing awareness, research, supplies to help those affected & for more medical breakthroughs.

Heart disease and cancer has unfortunately been a part of my life. My grandparents died of cancer and my father was diagnosed with cancer (he’s in remission now!). Millions are affected by these diseases and I want to do all that I can to help lower the deaths caused by cancer. This is why I decided to walk!
