The roar of the engines, the smell of burning rubber, and the festive atmosphere of Zandvoort filled the air. It was race day, and the stakes had never been higher for Lando Norris. The young driver stood by his McLaren, helmet in hand, glancing over the bustling pit lane with a determined look in his eyes. But today, his focus wasnât just on the race, it was on something or rather someone else entirely.
That someone was you, Y/n. Over the past few weeks, Lando had made it no secret that he was into you. His flirty remarks, cheeky smiles, and lingering glances were all aimed your way. You had played along, keeping him on his toes, but deep down, you were starting to feel the effect of his undeniable charm.
âY/n.â Landoâs voice drew you from your thoughts, smooth as the rumble of his carâs engine. He walked up to you, that boyish grin tugging at his lips, the one you were getting far too accustomed to. His eyes, usually so focused on the track, now held yours with an intensity that made your heart race more than any Formula 1 car could. "How about you finally let me take you out?" He asked, his tone teasing yet laced with sincerity. "You know Iâve been asking nicely for a while now."
You rolled your eyes, feigning nonchalance, but you couldnât hide the smile tugging at your lips. âLando, you know the deal.â you replied, the words almost playful but with a hint of challenge. âYou win this Grand Prix, and Iâll let you take me wherever you want.â
His eyes lit up with a mix of excitement and mischief, the green flecks in them shimmering like the track under the sunlight. âAnywhere?â he asked, stepping just a little closer, his hand brushing against yours ever so slightly, a touch so brief yet so planned it sent a shiver up your spine.
âAnywhere.â you confirmed, your voice steady despite the flutter in your chest. You crossed your arms, trying to maintain your composure, giving him a look that dared him to take you up on the challenge. âBut only if you win.â
Landoâs grin widened, his expression softening as he leaned in, closing the gap between you until the scent of his cologne mixed with the lingering traces of fuel and rubber. He reached out, his fingers lightly grazing the back of your hand, tracing an invisible line that left your skin tingling. âWell then.â he murmured, his voice dropping to a tone so low it was almost a whisper, his breath warm against your ear, âI guess Iâll just have to win, wonât I?â
You felt your breath hitch as his words hung in the air, charged with promise and anticipation. His thumb brushed gently over your knuckles, a touch so intimate yet tender that it felt like a silent vow, a promise of more to come.Â
And then, in a gesture so simple yet so filled with meaning, Lando lifted your hand to his lips, pressing a kiss to the back of it, his lips lingering against your skin just a moment longer than necessary. When he finally pulled away, his eyes found yours again, filled with a confidence that made your pulse quicken.
âWish me luck, Y/n.â he said, his voice playful again, but the intensity in his gaze told you that this race, this moment, meant more than just a possible victory on the track.
As he turned to leave, helmet in hand, you couldnât help but watch him go, your heart pounding in a way that had nothing to do with the upcoming race.
-----
The race started with Lando on pole position, and as the lights went out, the chaos of the Grand Prix began. Your heart raced as you watched from the paddock, your eyes glued to the screen. The roar of the engines, the squeal of tires, the adrenaline coursing through your veins, it all melded into a symphony of speed and skill that held you captive. Almost immediately, Max Verstappen surged ahead, taking first place and leaving Lando not far behind him.
But Lando wasnât one to give up so easily. With a determination that left you breathless, he pursued Max, lap after lap, his McLaren a blur of orange streaking across the track. Every turn, every maneuver was executed with a precision that bordered on artistry. You could feel the determination through the whole paddock, as he fought not just for the win, but for something far more personal.
By lap 18, he reclaimed the lead. It was a moment of triumph so intense, it sent a thrill down your spine. Your heart leapt as you saw him take the lead, the car responding to his every command, moving with a grace and aggression that left no doubt, Lando Norris was in control. Once he had the lead, there was no looking back. He widened the gap, pushing his car to its absolute limits, knowing full well what was on the line, what promise lingered on the edge of victory.
As the race reached its final lap, the tension was noticeable. The checkered flag waved, and in a moment that felt almost surreal, Lando crossed the finish line with a significant margin of over 20 seconds, victorious. The crowd erupted in cheers, their voices rising in a symphony of celebration. But amidst all the noise, your own emotions drowned out the world around you. Your heart soared with pride and excitement, not just because heâd won his second Grand Prix, but because you knew what was coming next.
And then, over the radio, despite the buzz of the pit lane and the celebration of the team, Landoâs voice cut through. But it wasnât his usual, happy tone, this time, it was demanding, almost urgent. âGet Y/n on the radio. I want to speak to her, now.â The intensity in his voice sent a jolt through you, his need to share this moment with you clear as day.
The engineer, slightly taken aback, quickly patched you through. âY/n, are you there?â Landoâs voice came through the static, and suddenly, the entire world seemed to narrow down to just the two of you, connected by the invisible thread of his victory and the promise that had led him here.
âIâm here, Lando.â you replied, your voice shaky with emotion. You could hear the roar of the crowd in the background, but it all seemed distant compared to the closeness of his voice in your ear.
âI did it.â he said, his voice breaking into a breathless laugh, half disbelieving, half euphoric. âI won. And do you know what that means?â
A smile spread across your face, your eyes glistening with unshed tears of joy. âI do.â you whispered, feeling the warmth of his victory wrap around you like a physical embrace.
âGood.â he replied, his tone softening, becoming almost tender through the crackle of the radio. âBecause as soon as I get out of this car, Iâm coming for you, Y/n. And Iâm not letting you out of my sight.â
The weight of his words, the raw emotion in his voice, left you breathless. As the team surrounded his car, celebrating his win, you knew that this wasnât just about the race anymore. It was about the promise you had made, the connection that had grown between you both, and the future that now lay wide open before you.
The moment he climbed out of the car, victorious, sweat-drenched but utterly triumphant, his eyes immediately sought you out in the crowd. And when he found you, standing there with your heart in your throat and your emotions worn openly on your face, he smiled, a smile that held all the promises of the night ahead.
-----
Lando didnât waste any time. After the podium celebrations, where he couldnât stop grinning, he quickly showered and changed into a crisp white button-down and black trousers that fit him perfectly. The way the fabric clung to his frame, still slightly damp from the shower, gave him an effortlessly handsome look that made your heart skip a beat.
Meanwhile, you slipped into the short orange dress youâd brought with you just in case Lando actually pulled off the win. The color was a reference to his McLaren, a playful homage to the vibrant energy of the race. The way it hugged your curves made you feel confident and beautiful, each glance in the mirror reminding you that tonight was going to be unforgettable. You knew Lando would appreciate the effort, but when you finally walked out to meet him, the look on his face made you feel like the most beautiful person in the world.
Landoâs eyes widened, his breath catching as he took you in. His admiration was evident, a slow, appreciative smile spreading across his face. âWow, Y/n, you look⊠incredible.â he murmured, his voice filled with genuine awe as his gaze lingered on you, drinking in every detail.
âYou donât look too bad yourself.â you replied, your voice soft, your smile widening as you took in the sight of him, so dashing, so charming. It was a side of him you didnât see to often, and it made your heart flutter.
He stepped closer, his movements slow, deliberate, as if savoring the moment. Offering you his arm like a true gentleman, he asked, âReady for our date?â His tone was playful, but his eyes held a sincerity that made the simple question feel weighted with unspoken promises.
âI am.â you replied, slipping your hand into the crook of his arm, the contact sending a spark of electricity through you. The warmth of his body so close to yours made the world around you fade, leaving just the two of you in a bubble of anticipation. âSo, where are we going?â
Landoâs smile turned secretive, a glint of mischief in his eyes. âItâs a surprise.â he said, his voice a low murmur that made your pulse quicken. âBut trust me, I think youâll love it.â
He had planned everything in advance, confident not only in his victory on the track but in winning your heart as well. He led you to a secluded, charming restaurant overlooking the beach, where the waves gently lapped against the shore under the golden glow of the setting sun. The scene before you was breathtaking, the table was set for two, with candlelight flickering softly, casting a warm, intimate glow over everything. The entire evening felt like something out of a dream, carefully crafted to sweep you off your feet.
âThis is perfect.â you whispered, your voice filled with awe as you looked around, touched by the thoughtfulness heâd put into the evening. It was more than you had expected, more than anyone had ever done for you.
Lando smiled, his gaze tender as he pulled out your chair, waiting for you to sit before he took his place besides you. âOnly the best for you, love.â he said softly, his hand immediately reaching over the table to take yours. His fingers intertwined with yours, the connection between you clear as day, his touch gentle yet firm. âI meant it when I said I wanted to take you out. Iâve been waiting for this moment for a long time.â
Your breath caught at the sincerity in his words, your cheeks flushing with warmth. âAnd Iâm glad you did.â you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. âThis⊠this is really special, Lando.â
His smile deepened, his thumb brushing gently over the back of your hand, sending shivers down your spine. âYouâre special, Y/n. And Iâm going to spend every day making sure you know that.â
The evening unfolded like a beautiful, slow dance. As you talked and laughed, sharing stories and dreams, the chemistry between you grew, an undeniable force that pulled you closer with every passing moment. Lando was attentive, his gaze never straying far from yours, his hand never letting go of yours for long. He was a perfect mix of charm and respect, his every word, every glance making you feel like you were the only person in the world.
As the night wore on, the conversation grew quieter, more intimate. Landoâs hand slipped from yours, tracing a slow, steady path along your arm, his touch sending a thrill through you. When he reached under the table, his fingers lightly brushing against your leg, the sensation was electric. His hand lingered there, resting on your thigh, his touch warm, possessive, yet tender.
He leaned in closer, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat. "Y/n," he began, his voice a soft whisper, "I don't think you realize just how much you mean to me. Every time I see you, it's like everything else fades away, and all I can think about is how lucky I am to have you in my life."
His words were raw, filled with a sincerity that made your breath catch. "You're not just beautiful," he continued, his hand gently brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. "You're the person I look for in every room, the one who makes everything feel right even when it's all falling apart."
Lando's voice trembled slightly, the vulnerability in his tone tugging at your heart. "Iâve been wanting to tell you this for so long⊠Youâre everything to me, Y/n. My best friend, my anchor, and⊠the person I canât stop thinking about."
He paused, his lips brushing against your cheek in a soft, lingering kiss. "I donât know where this is all going," he whispered, his breath warm against your skin, "but I know that I donât want to face it without you. I need you by my side, now and always." His words hung in the air, filled with a quiet desperation that left you breathless, your skin tingling where his lips had touched, as if the world had shifted and everything finally made sense.
You turned to him, your eyes meeting his, the air between you charged with a tension that had been building all night. The world around you seemed to slow, the gentle sound of the waves fading into the background as Landoâs hand tightened slightly on your thigh, his touch grounding you, pulling you into the moment.
âIâve been wanting to do this since I first got the honor of laying my eyes on you.â he whispered, his voice rough with emotion, before leaning in and capturing your lips in a kiss that was soft yet full of the passion that had been simmering between you. His hand on your thigh tightened, pulling you closer as his lips moved against yours, the kiss deepening as the night and the ocean whispered their approval.
When he finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, both of you breathless, the moment suspended in time. âSo, love.â he said, his voice still a little breathless, his eyes soft as they searched yours. âWas this date worth the wait?â
You smiled up at him, your heart full, knowing that this was only the beginning of something truly special. âIt was worth every second.â
Landoâs grin widened, and he leaned in to press another tender kiss to your forehead. âGood.â he whispered against your skin, his lips lingering as if he couldnât bear to pull away. âBecause Iâm already planning the next one.â
As he walked you back to your hotel, the stars twinkling above, his arm around your waist, you couldnât help but feel that you were on the verge of something extraordinary. The warmth of his hand on your side, the way he held you close as if he never wanted to let go, it was a promise of more, a future filled with moments like this.

The stadium buzzed with excitement, the stands filling up with fans decked out in red and blue, eager to watch FC Barcelona take on their rivals. The air was electric, filled with the anticipation of the match ahead. Y/n stood at the entrance of the stadium, her heart racing as she clutched Pablo Gaviraâs jersey in her hands. It was oversized on her, making her second-guess if it looked acceptable on her. But it wasn't the fit that made her uneasy.
She had never been one to crave the spotlight, and the thought of sitting among the other players' girlfriends, all of whom seemed so effortlessly confident, made her stomach twist in knots. Her nerves felt like a thousand butterflies trapped inside her chest, wings beating frantically against her ribcage.
But Pablo, Pablo had asked her to wear it, and the memory of his pleading brown eyes, so full of warmth and affection, made it impossible for her to refuse.
âMi amor, please?â he had begged just hours before, his voice soft and teasing as he held the jersey out to her. âYouâll look absolutely beautiful in it. Besides, I want everyone to know who you belong to.â
Y/n had hesitated, chewing her bottom lip as she looked at the jersey. "Are you sure? I mean, wonât I look silly? Itâs so big on meâŠâ
Pablo had chuckled, shaking his head as he stepped closer, his hands gently wrapping around her waist. âPrincesa.â he whispered, his breath warm against her ear, âYouâll look perfect. And Iâll be proud knowing youâre wearing my name.â
She had melted under his touch, his words wrapping around her like a blanket, comforting and secure. The way he had called her âPrincesa.â the soft whisper of the word in her ear, had sealed her fate. She couldnât deny him, not when he looked at her like that, as if she was the only person in the world.
Now, as she made her way to the bleachers, she could feel the weight of the stares on her back. The jersey, with âGaviâ written across the back in bold letters, felt like a spotlight, drawing everyoneâs eyes to her. She tugged at the hem again, her fingers fidgeting nervously as she tried to calm her nerves, but her efforts were hopeless.
Sliding into an empty seat near the front, Y/n noticed that the other girlfriends were already there, chatting and laughing as if they hadnât a care in the world. Their perfectly styled hair and fashionable outfits made her feel even more out of place, her nerves gnawing at her confidence. She focused on adjusting the jersey once more, trying to blend in, though she knew it was a useless effort.
That was when one of the girls leaned over, her blonde hair cascading over her shoulder, a friendly smile on her face. âYouâre Y/n, right?â she asked, her tone light and playful.
Y/n nodded, suddenly feeling very self-conscious. âYeah, thatâs me.â
The girlâs eyes sparkled with amusement as she looked Y/n up and down, her gaze lingering on the oversized jersey. âTheyâre not staring at you because of how big it is, silly. Theyâre staring at the name on it.â
Y/n blinked in surprise, her cheeks flushing a deep shade of pink. âOh.â she mumbled, glancing around at the curious eyes still lingering on her. âI didnât think it would be a big deal. Hasnât his previous girlfriends worn his jersey before?â
The girl, whose name she vaguely recalled as Mikky, snorted, shaking her head. âNo, he didnât let them. He told them that heâd only let his future wife wear it.â
Y/nâs breath caught in her throat, her heart skipping a beat. âWhat?â she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Mikkyâs smile widened, and she winked at Y/n. âYou heard me. It looks like youâre special, Y/n. He must really care about you.â
Y/n felt her blush deepen, her mind spinning with the revelation. She hadnât realized the significance of wearing Pabloâs jersey, hadnât thought it would mean anything more than just a show of support. But now, knowing that he had reserved this gesture for someone he truly saw a future with, she felt a warmth spread through her chest, a mix of happiness and nervousness.
Before she could fully process Mikkyâs words, the stadium erupted in cheers as the players began to take the field. The atmosphere shifted, the tension rising as the match was about to begin. Y/nâs eyes were immediately drawn to Pablo, her heart swelling with pride as she watched him step onto the pitch. He moved with such grace and skill, every touch of the ball drawing cheers from the crowd.
But every now and then, he would glance up at the stands, his eyes scanning the sea of faces until they found hers. When they did, he would smile, an intimate, knowing smile that made her heart flutter and her worries fade away. His gaze lingered on her, the connection between them clear even across the distance.
âHeâs been looking for you.â Mikky teased, nudging Y/n gently with her elbow. âYouâve got him completely smitten.â
Y/n bit her lip, a shy smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. âI think Iâm the one whoâs smitten.â she admitted quietly, her eyes never leaving Pablo.
Mikky chuckled. âItâs mutual, trust me.â
As the match progressed, Y/n found herself getting lost in the game, her initial nervousness melting away. She cheered along with the crowd, her heart racing with every close call and every brilliant play Pablo made. She couldnât help but feel a surge of pride each time his name echoed through the stadium, the cheers of the fans a testament to his talent.
And through it all, she wore that jersey with a newfound confidence. Because now, she knew it wasnât just a piece of fabric she was wearing, it was a symbol of Pabloâs feelings for her, a silent promise of what will be.
-----
As the final whistle echoed through the stadium, signaling Barcelonaâs victory, the crowd erupted in a deafening cheer. The entire arena buzzed with the energy of triumph, the roars of fans rising in waves, but for Y/n, the noise around her seemed to fade into the background. All she could focus on was one thing, Pablo Gavira.
He was still on the field, surrounded by his teammates, their arms slung over each otherâs shoulders as they celebrated the hard fought win. Yet, even in the midst of the celebration, Pabloâs eyes were searching for something or rather someone. When they finally found hers, a confident smile spread across his face, the joy of victory tempered by an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine. There was something different in his gaze, something deep, almost possessive, that made her heart race.
As she made her way to the edge of the field, her heart pounded with a mix of anticipation and nerves. The other girlfriends were heading down as well, their steps light and easy, but Y/n felt like she was walking on air, her emotions bubbling up inside her. She still couldnât shake the feeling of the jersey she was wearing, its oversized fabric hanging loosely off her frame, the name âGaviâ written boldly on her back. But the secret meaning of it, a revelation only she and a few others knew, made her heart flutter.
Just as she reached the sideline, Pablo broke away from his teammates and jogged toward her, his movements fluid and determined. The sight of him, all raw energy and focused, made her breath catch in her throat. And when he finally reached her, he didnât hesitate, didnât slow down. With a swift, determent motion, he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her flush against his body, the sudden contact leaving her breathless.
âYou have no idea how much I wanted to see you wearing this.â he murmured, his voice low and husky as he leaned in close, his breath warm against her ear, sending a delightful shiver down her spine.
Y/nâs breath hitched as his hand tightened slightly on her waist, his touch sending sparks across her skin. âIâm glad you like it.â she managed to reply, her voice a bit shaky from the proximity and the intensity of his gaze.
âLike it?â Pablo chuckled, the sound deep and rich, vibrating against her. âI love it, princesa. Youâre mine, and now everyone knows it.â His words, laced with possessiveness, sent a thrill through her, and he brushed his lips against the shell of her ear, teasing her with a barely-there kiss that made her knees feel weak.
She looked up at him, her cheeks flushed, her heart racing. âPablo, Iââ
He silenced her with a finger to her lips, his eyes darkening with an emotion that made her pulse quicken. âShh, I know.â he whispered, his voice filled with a confidence that sent a thrill through her. âYou donât have to say anything.â
Before she could respond, Pablo captured her lips in a kiss that was anything but gentle. It was a claiming, a declaration, filled with a passion that left her breathless. His hand slid from her waist to the small of her back, pressing her even closer to him, and she melted into his embrace, her hands finding their way to the nape of his neck, fingers tangling in his hair.
The world around them seemed to fade away, the cheers of the crowd, the flash of cameras, all of it dimming as Y/n lost herself in the feel of him, in the intensity of his kiss. His lips moved against hers with a hunger that made her heart race, her body responding instinctively to the heat of his touch.
When he finally pulled back, his eyes were blazing, and he let out a low, satisfied growl. âYou have no idea how long Iâve wanted to show the world the woman who I want to spend forever withâ he said, his voice rough with emotion, his breath mingling with hers.
Y/n felt like she was floating, her mind spinning from the intensity of his kiss. âPabloâŠâ she whispered, still catching her breath, her hands still resting on his shoulders as if she couldnât bear to let go.
He grinned, that confident, almost cocky smile returning as he leaned down to place a series of soft kisses along her jawline, moving slowly toward her lips again. âIâm not done with you yet.â he teased, his voice dropping an octave as he kissed her just at the corner of her mouth, deliberately holding back, his lips hovering dangerously close.
She let out a small, involuntary whimper, her hands tightening around his shoulders. âPablo, youâre teasing me.â she accused, though the breathlessness in her voice gave her away.
He chuckled again, the sound deep and full of mischief. âMaybe.â he admitted, his lips brushing against hers again, but this time he didnât pull away. He kissed her deeply, his tongue sliding against hers in a way that made her forget everything but the feel of him, the way he held her like she was the most precious thing in the world.
When they finally broke apart, both of them breathing heavily, Pablo rested his forehead against hers, his expression softening, though the intensity in his gaze remained. âI want you by my side, Y/n. Always.â he said, his voice softer now but no less intense. âIâve never felt this way about anyone, and Iâm not letting you go.â
Her heart swelled at his words, and she looked up at him, her eyes shining with emotion. âIâm not going anywhere.â she promised, her voice steady despite the rush of feelings inside her. There was a certainty in her words, a truth that resonated deep within her.
Pabloâs smile softened, his eyes filled with a mix of affection and determination, and he pressed a gentle kiss to her lips before wrapping her in a tight embrace, his arms encircling her waist, holding her close. âGood.â he whispered against her hair, his voice filled with relief and contentment. âBecause I need you with me, mi amor.â
As the crowd around them began to fade, the other players and their girlfriends leaving the field, Pablo kept his arm around Y/nâs waist, leading her off the pitch with a sense of pride and ownership. They walked together, their fingers intertwined, and every now and then, he would steal a kiss, his lips brushing against hers with a playful, teasing touch that made her giggle softly, her heart light and full.
âYou know.â Pablo said as they exited the stadium, his voice filled with that confident edge again, a playful glint in his eyes, âI think Iâm going to need you to wear my jersey to every game from now on. Itâs lucky, after all.â
Y/n laughed, the sound light and full of joy, a sound that made Pabloâs heart swell. âOnly if you promise to keep winning.â she teased back, her eyes sparkling as she looked up at him.
He pulled her close, his lips ghosting over her ear as he whispered, âIâll win as long as youâre by my side, princesa.â

----------------------------------------------------------
Y/n had always known her place in Arendelle. As the middle child, she was neither as responsible as Elsa nor as carefree as Anna. But like Elsa, she was burdened with a secret. The same icy powers coursed through her veins, a frosty magic she was taught to suppress. "Conceal, don't feel." had become her mantra, whispered to herself during sleepless nights and quiet, lonely days.
After the devastating news of their parents' death at sea, the castle felt emptier than ever. The corridors that once echoed with laughter now held only the heavy silence of grief. Elsa, at eighteen, was suddenly thrust into the role of queen, while Y/n, at sixteen, found herself struggling to keep her emotions and her powers in check. Anna, fifteen and still full of youthful innocence, tried her best to lift everyone's spirits, even as she dealt with her own heartbreak.
Tonight, as the sisters sat together in the dim light of the castleâs drawing room, Y/n unfolded a letter she had received earlier that day. The parchment crinkled in her trembling hands, the weight of the words inside pressing down on her.
âWhatâs that, Y/n?â Anna asked, glancing up from the embroidery she was working on. Her voice was light, but there was a trace of concern in her eyes.
Y/n hesitated, her gaze flickering to Elsa, who sat quietly by the window, lost in thought. Elsa met her eyes and gave a small, almost unnoticable nod. Y/n took a deep breath and forced a smile. âItâs... just something from school.â she replied, trying to keep her voice steady.
Annaâs face lit up with curiosity. âSchool? Are they starting classes again? It must be a distraction at least, right?â
Y/n nodded, though her thoughts were far from the normalcy of schoolwork. âYeah, something like that.â
Anna frowned slightly, sensing something was off, but she didnât press further. Instead, she returned to her embroidery, her movements slower, more distracted. Y/n could tell that Anna was still struggling with their parentsâ death, just as they all were.
As the evening wore on, Anna excused herself, saying she was tired. âI think Iâll head to bed.â she said, standing and stretching. âYou two should get some rest too.â She leaned down to hug Elsa first, then Y/n, before slipping out of the room with a soft, âGoodnight.â
The moment the door closed behind Anna, Y/n let out a shaky breath. She unfolded the letter again, staring at the elegant script. âIâve been accepted to Merlin Academy.â she said quietly, more to herself than to Elsa.
Elsa turned her gaze from the window to Y/n, her expression a mix of pride and concern. âItâs a great opportunity, Y/n. Youâll be able to learn so much about your powers, about yourself.â
Y/nâs voice trembled as she spoke, the fears she had kept buried for so long surfacing in a rush. âBut what if I canât control it, Elsa? What if I hurt someone? What if they find out?â
Elsa stood and crossed the room to sit beside Y/n. She took her sisterâs hand in hers, her touch cool but comforting. âI know itâs scary. I feel that fear too, every day. But Merlin Academy is where youâll be safe. Itâs where youâll learn to control your powers, to understand them. You wonât be alone.â
Y/n nodded, but the doubt lingered. âAnd what about Anna? She doesnât know. How can I leave without telling her the truth?â
Elsaâs expression softened with sympathy. âAnna has already lost so much. I think itâs best if we keep this between us, at least for now. She doesnât need another burden to carry, not right now.â
Y/nâs heart ached at the thought of keeping such a big secret from Anna, but she knew Elsa was right. Anna was already struggling to cope with their parentsâ death, adding the truth about their powers might be too much for her to process.
âIâll write to her often.â Y/n said, her voice thick with emotion. âIâll tell her itâs just a regular school. But Elsa... Iâm scared.â
Elsa wrapped an arm around Y/n, pulling her close. âI know, Y/n. Iâm scared too. But youâre strong, stronger than you think. And no matter what happens, weâll always have each other.â
Y/n leaned into Elsaâs embrace, drawing strength from her sisterâs calm presence. The path ahead seemed intimidating, filled with uncertainty and fear. How could she hide what she was for an entire school year?
-----
When Y/n arrived at Merlin Academy, the grand stone castle seemed to tower over her, its ancient walls full of mysteries and magic. The place was alive with energy, a big contrast to the quiet halls of the castle in Arendelle. Here, students openly showcased their powers and talents without fear. Fire danced on fingertips, water swirled effortlessly, and the earth itself seemed to respond to the commands of one particularly enthusiastic student. But Y/n, true to her promise, kept her powers locked inside, her heart frozen with the weight of her secret.
Everywhere she looked, there was something magical happening, yet Y/n couldnât shake the feeling of being out of place. Her steps were cautious, her demeanor guarded, as if any wrong move might shatter the fragile control she had over her powers. She avoided the crowds, keeping to the edges of the bustling groups, hoping to remain unnoticed. But she quickly realized that in a place like Merlin Academy, secrets were hard to keep.
It was during one of those early days, as she wandered the academyâs grand gardens alone, that Y/n first encountered James Hook. The moment she saw him, she knew he wasnât like the other students. He stood out in every possible way. His crimson coat, tailored perfectly to his tall, lean frame, contrasted sharply with his dark hair, which fell in unruly waves just above his sharp, blue eyes. There was a dangerous sort of charm about him, the kind that warned of trouble even as it invited you closer.
Y/n had heard the rumors, of course. Whispers that followed him wherever he went about him being a ruthless pirate, about the lost treasure he was supposedly seeking within the academyâs walls. She knew enough to keep her distance, but it seemed that James had other plans.
While Y/n tried to find a quiet spot to study, she heard a voice behind her, smooth and laced with a hint of amusement. âWhatâs a delicate thing like you doing all alone out here?â
She turned sharply to find James leaning casually against a tree, his piercing blue eyes locked on her with a gaze that felt almost predatory, yet strangely protective. Her heart raced, a mix of fear and something she couldnât quite place.Â
âI prefer it that way.â she replied, trying to keep her voice steady. âLess⊠complicated.â
Jamesâs lips curled into a sly smile as he pushed off the tree and came closer, his boots crunching softly on the gravel path. âLess complicated, hm? Or less risky?â He tilted his head, his gaze never leaving hers. âYou donât strike me as the type to avoid a little danger.â
Y/n swallowed, instinctively taking a step back. âI donât know what you mean.â
âOh, I think you do.â he said, his voice dropping to a low, teasing tone. âIâve seen you, you know. Always on the outside, watching, but never participating. Itâs as if youâre afraid of your own shadow.â
Her heart pounded in her chest. How could he have noticed her when sheâd tried so hard to go unnoticed? âIâm not afraid.â she lied, lifting her chin slightly, trying to appear more confident than she felt.
âIs that so?â James mused, stepping even closer until he was just a few feet away. He looked her over, as if trying to unravel the mystery she had so carefully wrapped around herself. âYou donât fool me, Y/n. Thereâs something different about you. Something⊠intriguing.â
Y/nâs breath hitched at the way he said her name, like it was a secret only they shared. âWhat do you want, James?â she asked, trying to keep her voice from trembling.
He smirked, leaning in just enough that she could catch a hint of the sea on his clothes. âMaybe Iâm just curious. You donât seem like the other students. Youâre too⊠restrained. It makes me wonder what youâre hiding.â
âIâm not hiding anything.â she insisted, her voice sharper than she intended. She could feel the cold creeping into her fingertips, and she clenched her hands into fists, trying to suppress the icy magic that threatened to reveal itself.
Jamesâs eyes flickered down to her clenched fists, a glint of understanding or perhaps amusement crossing his features. âEveryone has something to hide, darling.â he murmured. âThe trick is knowing when to reveal it.â
Y/n felt a chill run down her spine, and she stepped back again, desperate to put some distance between them. âI need to go.â she said quickly, turning to leave before he could say anything more.
But James wasnât one to be dismissed so easily. âIâll be seeing you around, princess.â he called after her, his voice laced with a promise that made her heart skip a beat.
As she hurried away, Y/n couldnât shake the feeling that James Hook was more dangerous than sheâd first thought and that he had already set his sights on discovering her deepest secret. But there was something else too, something that lingered in the back of her mind, unsettling and confusing her. The way his gaze seemed to see right through her, as if he understood her fear better than anyone else. Y/n found herself questioning whether she could truly keep her powers and her heart, frozen.
-----
One afternoon, Y/n sat near the sea, trying desperately to lose herself in the pages of a book. The rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore had always been a way to calm herself, a place where she could momentarily forget the icy storm brewing inside her. But today, no matter how hard she tried, she couldnât escape the thoughts swirling in her mind, the fear, the loneliness, the unbearable weight of her secret.
The book in her hands was just another attempt to distract herself, but the words blurred together as her anxiety crept up, tightening its grip around her chest. Just as she was about to close it in frustration, a shadow fell over her, blocking the sunlight and pulling her back to reality.
She looked up to see James standing before her, his familiar smirk playing on his lips. His dark hair was tousled by the sea breeze, and his blue eyes sparkled with a mixture of curiosity and something else, something that made her heart skip a beat, even as her fear bubbled beneath the surface.
âMind if I join you, princess?â he asked, but without waiting for her response, he settled onto the bench beside her, his presence both comforting and unsettling all at once.
Y/n stiffened, clutching her book tighter as if it could shield her from the emotions threatening to spill over. âI was hoping for some peace and quiet.â she murmured, her voice betraying the fear she was trying so hard to hide.
James leaned back, completely at ease. âAye, I could tell.â he said, his voice smooth and warm, like honey. âBut itâs the quiet ones who always have the most interesting stories.â
She kept her eyes fixed on the book, even though she knew she wouldnât be able to read another word. âThereâs nothing interesting about me.â she replied, her tone flat, hoping to end the conversation before it could begin.
âIs that so, princess?â James raised an eyebrow, his smirk softening into something more genuine, though no less intense. âIâve seen the way you look at the others, like youâre afraid to get too close. What are you hiding?â
His words hit her like a punch to the gut. He was getting too close, digging too deep, and Y/n felt her control slipping. She stood up abruptly, the book nearly falling from her grasp. âNothing that concerns you.â she snapped, her voice sharper than she intended. Panic was clawing at her now, threatening to break free.
But as she turned to leave, James reached out, his hand catching her wrist with a gentle but firm grip. His touch was warm, so different from the cold she carried within. âI think it does concern me.â he said softly, his voice losing its usual playful edge. âI can see it in your eyes, darling. Youâre afraid, but of what?â
Y/n tried to pull away, but the warmth of his hand, the sincerity in his gaze, it all made her want to crumble, to let go of the iron grip she had on her emotions. She could feel the cold creeping up her spine, could sense the frost forming on her skin, and she knew she was losing control. âYou wouldnât understand,â she whispered, her voice trembling with the effort to keep herself together.
âTry me.â James urged, stepping closer, his thumb brushing over her knuckles in a soothing, almost tender gesture.
But it was too late. The storm inside her was raging, and she could no longer hold it back. The fear, the loneliness, the crushing weight of her secret, all of it surged to the surface. A cold gust of wind whipped around them, and before she could stop it, frost began to spread across the ground, spiraling out from where she stood. The book in her hand fell to the ground, forgotten, as she clutched at her arms, trying to contain the icy power that was slipping out of her control.
âNo, no, noâŠâ she whispered, terror lacing her voice as she backed away, but there was nowhere to go. The ice was curling around her like a cage, and she couldnât stop it. She felt the cold seeping into her bones, the frost creeping up her arms, and she knew she was seconds away from losing herself completely.
But instead of backing away in fear, James stepped closer, his eyes locked on hers, determent. âY/n.â he called to her, his voice cutting through the chaos in her mind. âLook at me.â
She did, her breath coming in ragged gasps, her vision blurring with unshed tears. The ice crackled and snapped around her, but James wasnât afraid. He reached out, cupping her face in his hands, the warmth of his touch chasing away the cold that threatened to consume her.
âYou donât have to be afraid.â he said, his voice low and steady, grounding her in the here and now. âIâm here. Iâm not going anywhere.â
Y/nâs breathing was unstable, the panic still clawing at her insides, but Jamesâs touch, his words, they were like a lifeline pulling her back from the edge. âIâI canât stop it.â she choked out, the tears finally spilling over and freezing as they fell.
âYes, you can,â James whispered, leaning in until their foreheads touched, his warmth seeping into her skin, melting the frost that had begun to form. âYou can control this, Y/n. I know you can.â
She wanted to believe him, but the fear was still there, gripping her heart in a vise. The cold was still there too, a deadly force she had never been able to fully tame. âIâm going to hurt you.â she whispered, her voice breaking with the weight of her fear.
âYou wonât.â James murmured, his thumb brushing away the frozen tear on her cheek. âNot as long as Iâm here.â
And then, before she could protest, before the fear could take hold of her again, he closed the distance between them, capturing her lips in a kiss that was both gentle and firm. The world around them seemed to freeze for a moment, literally and figuratively, but then the ice inside her began to melt, slowly, as if his warmth was thawing the cold she had kept locked away for so long.
The kiss deepened, and with it, Y/n felt the storm inside her calm. The frost that had been spreading across the ground withdrawing, the biting cold in her veins dulled, and the panic that had consumed her began to fade. All she could feel was James, his warmth, his strength, the way he held her like she was something precious, not something to be feared.
When they finally pulled apart, James rested his forehead against hers, their breaths mingling in the cool air. âYouâre not alone anymore, love.â he whispered, his voice full of quiet determination. âYou never have to be.â
Y/n let out a shaky breath, her heart finally starting to slow to a normal rhythm. The ice inside her had faded, leaving only a faint chill that she could handle. She looked up at James, searching his eyes for any hint of fear or regret, but all she saw was warmth and an unexpected tenderness that made her want to cry all over again.
âThank you.â she whispered, her voice still trembling but stronger than before.
âAnything for you, princess.â he replied with a soft smile, stealing one more kiss that made her feel a warmth she hadnât known in years.
As the warmth of Jamesâs kiss lingered on Y/nâs lips, the tension that had build up inside her began to loosen. The frost on the ground had melted away, leaving only damp patches where the ice had once spread. For a moment, the world felt still, as if holding its breath with her. But reality crept back in, the weight of what had just happened settling heavily on her shoulders.
Y/n took a shaky step back, her hand still entwined with Jamesâs, but her mind already racing with a thousand thoughts. What had she just done? She had lost control, let her powers loose in a way that could have endangered him, and yet⊠he wasnât afraid. Not only that, he had calmed her, brought her back from the brink, something no one had ever been able to do before.
âJames,â she began, her voice hesitant as she tried to find the right words. âI⊠Iâm sorry. I didnât mean for any of this to happen. I could haveââ
He silenced her with a gentle kiss on her hand, his eyes soft as they met hers. âYou donât have to apologize, Y/n.â he said, his voice steady, reassuring. âI told you, you donât have to hide from me. Iâm not afraid of what you can do.â
His words were like a balm to her unsettling nerves, but they also stirred something deeper within her, something she hadnât allowed herself to feel in a long time, hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, she didnât have to carry this burden alone anymore.
âBut you should be.â she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the waves. âEveryone else is. They always have been. Just like they have been of Elsa⊠She tried to protect me, to help me, but I could see it in her eyes. She was scared too.â
Jamesâs expression softened even more, his gaze filled with understanding. âPeople fear what they donât understand, love. But Iâm not like them. I see you, really see you. And Iâm not going anywhere, other then being by your side.â
Y/n felt her heart squeeze painfully in her chest. She wanted to believe him, wanted to hold onto the warmth he offered, but the fear was still there, gnawing at the edges of her mind. âBut what if I lose control again? What if I hurt someone?â
âYou wonât.â James said firmly, his grip on her hand tightening just enough to ground her. âNot as long as Iâm here with you. Weâll figure this out together, okay? You donât have to do this alone.â
The sincerity in his voice, the confidence he had in her, was almost overwhelming. Y/n felt the last of her defenses crumble as she nodded slowly, her heart aching with a mixture of fear and gratitude. âOkay.â she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.
James smiled, a genuine, warm smile that made her heart flutter in a way she hadnât felt in a long time. âGood â he said, pulling her into a gentle embrace. She hesitated for a moment before leaning into him, letting herself be held, letting herself feel safe.
For a few minutes, they stayed like that, the sound of the waves crashing softly in the background, the world seeming to fade away. Y/n felt herself relax more with each passing second, the ice within her settling into a quiet, manageable calm.Â
But as the sun began to dip lower in the sky, casting long shadows across the shore, Y/n knew they couldnât stay here forever. She pulled back slightly, looking up at James with a mixture of resolve and uncertainty. âWhat now?â she asked quietly.
James tilted his head, considering her for a moment before responding. âNow,â he said, âif weâre going to figure all this out, maybe itâs time you started practicing, really using your powers.â
Y/n held her breath, her eyes widening slightly as she looked at him. âYou mean⊠now? Out here?â The idea of intentionally using her powers, after everything that had just happened, sent a shiver down her spine, but not entirely from fear. There was a part of her, buried deep, that longed to be free, to see what she could truly do.
James nodded, his expression earnest. âWhy not? Youâve been holding back for so long, love. What if you tried letting go, just a little? You donât have to be afraid. Iâll be right here.â
His encouragement, so simple yet so powerful, struck a chord within her. Maybe he was right. Maybe it was time to stop hiding, to stop fearing herself. She took a deep breath, feeling the familiar cold rise within her, but this time, she didnât push it away. She let it fill her, let it flow through her veins like a river of ice.
âOkay.â she whispered, more to herself than to him. She closed her eyes, focusing on the sensation of the cold, on the power that had always been a part of her. The air around her began to chill, the wind picking up as she let the ice take form.
James stepped back slightly, giving her space, but his eyes never left her. There was no fear in his gaze, only wonder and something that looked very much like admiration. âDon't fight it.â he murmured, his voice low and steady. âJust feel the ice course through you and work with it, not against it.â
Encouraged by his words, Y/n opened her eyes, her heart pounding as she raised her hands, palms facing down toward her clothes. With a gentle flick of her fingers, the cold surged outward, wrapping around her like a second skin. The fabric of her clothes shimmered and began to change, the colors deepening into a rich, icy blue. The material lengthened and flowed like water, forming into a dress that sparkled with the light of a thousand tiny snowflakes. The bodice hugged her figure, intricate patterns of frost weaving themselves into the fabric, while the skirt flared out in an elegant, sweeping train. Even her shoes transformed, the delicate heels now made of glistening ice, as strong and tough as winter itself.
When she finally lowered her hands, Y/n could hardly believe what she had done. She stared down at herself, at the beautiful dress she had created, and for the first time, she felt a sense of pride in her powers, in who she was.
James, who had watched the entire transformation in awed silence, let out a low whistle. âY/n.â he breathed, his voice filled with genuine admiration. âYou⊠you look absolutly stunning, I have never had the honor to be in the pressence of such a beautiful and powerful woman.â
His words made her blush, the warmth of his gaze almost overwhelming. She glanced up at him, suddenly shy, but the way he looked at her, like she was something you would only read about, made her heart skip a beat. âThank you.â she said softly, her voice tinged with a mixture of gratitude and disbelief.
James took a step closer, his eyes never leaving hers. âYou should never have to hide this, Y/n. Youâre amazing, and what you can do⊠itâs indescribable how beautiful it is.â
Y/n felt her breath catch in her throat. No one had ever spoken to her like this, had ever made her feel like her powers were something to be celebrated rather than feared. The sincerity in Jamesâs voice, the way he looked at her with such affection, it was almost too much to take in.
He reached out, gently taking her hand in his. The warmth of his touch melted the last of her doubts, and she found herself smiling, really smiling, for the first time in what felt like forever. âI donât know what to say.â she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
âYou donât have to say anything.â James replied, his thumb brushing over her knuckles in a gesture that sent a thrill through her. âJust remember this feeling. This is who you are, Y/n. Not the fear, not the doubt, this.â
The intensity of his words, the raw honesty in his eyes, made Y/nâs heart swell. Without thinking, she stepped closer, drawn to him by something she couldnât quite name. And when James didnât pull away, when he instead cupped her face with that same gentle touch, she knew, this was where she was meant to be. Y/n found herself glancing at James, feeling something new, a warmth that had nothing to do with her powers and everything to do with him.

The Slytherin common room was as cold as ever, the air thick with whispers and sneers. I sat in my usual corner, pretending to read a book I had no interest in. My eyes drifted over the same sentence repeatedly, unable to focus as the flames in the fireplace flickered, casting chilling shadows across the stone walls. This place had always felt more like a cage than a home.
It wasnât easy being a muggle-born in Slytherin. From the moment the sorting hat declared âSlytherin!â on my first day, the room had gone deadly silent. The weight of all those eyes on me had been suffocating. I had tried to shake off the discomfort, standing tall and proud, but deep down, I knew that my life in Slytherin was going to be a constant battle.
The pure-bloods saw me as a freak, a mistake. It didnât matter how well I performed in classes or how hard I tried to fit in. They only saw my blood status, something that, in their eyes, made me less than them. And no one reminded me of that more often than Draco Malfoy.
âOi, Y/n, canât you find somewhere else to lurk?â Pansy Parkinsonâs shrill voice cut through the common room like a knife. She was sitting with Daphne Greengrass and Millicent Bulstrode, all of them staring at me with matching sneers.
I looked up, meeting her gaze with a cold glare. âThis is my common room too, Parkinson. Iâll sit wherever I please.â
She snorted, her lips curling in disapproval. âYouâd think with your background, youâd be more⊠respectful to your betters.â
Millicent and Daphne giggled, a sharp, mocking sound that grated against my nerves. I felt a surge of anger rising within me, the kind that burned hot and bright, but I forced it down. I wanted to lash out, to say something cutting, but I knew it would only make things worse. They thrived on my reactions, and I refused to give them the satisfaction.
Before I could respond, Malfoy walked over, his usual entourage of Crabbe and Goyle trailing behind him. His silver eyes locked onto mine, and I braced myself for whatever cruel remarks he had in store.
âStill playing pretend, Y/n?â Dracoâs voice was smooth, laced with mockery. âIâm sure the professors find your little act amusing, but we all know the truth, donât we?â
I clenched my fists, forcing myself to remain calm. âAnd what truth is that, Malfoy?â
He stepped closer, his presence looming over me like a storm cloud ready to burst. âThat you donât belong here. No matter how hard you try, youâll never be one of us.â
The words stung, more than I cared to admit. It felt like he had taken the doubts that plagued me every night and voiced them for the whole world to hear. But I wouldnât let him see that. I wouldnât give him the satisfaction. âYou donât get to decide who belongs here, Malfoy.â I spat, my voice shaking slightly despite my best efforts.
His smirk widened, as if he could sense the cracks in my armor. âNo, but the rest of us do. And it seems like the agreement is pretty clear.â
I didnât want to give him the satisfaction of seeing the hurt in my eyes, so I looked away, staring at the flickering flames in the fireplace. They reflected in his eyes, cold and unyielding, as he leaned in closer.
âLeave her alone, Draco.â Blaise Zabiniâs voice cut in from behind him. Blaise, one of the few Slytherins who didnât actively partake in the daily harassment, stepped forward, his dark eyes narrowed at Draco.
Draco glanced at Blaise, his expression tightening for just a moment, something unreadable passing between them. He looked almost⊠conflicted. But it was gone as quickly as it appeared, replaced by that infuriating smirk. âYouâre lucky, Y/n.â he said, his tone cold and dismissive. âZabiniâs got a soft spot for lost causes.â
His words hit harder than they should have. They made me feel small, insignificant, like a mistake that shouldnât even exist. But instead of breaking down, I felt anger build up, hot and blinding. I opened my mouth to snap back, to say something, anything, to wipe that smug look off his face, but the words died on my tongue.
Draco turned and walked away, his friends following after him like obedient shadows. I stayed rooted to the spot, the sting of his words lingering in the air long after he was gone. Blaise gave me a small nod before turning back to his book, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
I knew he meant well, but his intervention only made things worse. It reminded me of how isolated I was in this house, how I was constantly in need of someoneâs protection, as if I were some fragile thing that couldnât stand on its own.
I tried to push the encounter out of my mind as I returned to my book, but the words blurred on the page, my frustration and hurt boiling just beneath the surface. I could feel the eyes of my housemates on me, their judgment like a physical weight pressing down on my shoulders. The walls of the common room seemed to close in, the air growing colder, heavier, with every passing second.
I couldnât take it anymore. Slamming my book shut, I stood up abruptly, the noise echoing in the silent room. Heads turned in my direction, and I could feel their eyes on me, filled with judgment, disdain, and worst of all, pity.
Ignoring the whispered insults that followed me, I stormed out of the common room, my footsteps echoing harshly against the stone floors. I needed to get away, to find somewhere I could breathe, somewhere I didnât feel the constant suffocation of their expectations and judgments on muggle-borns.
As I hurried away, I couldnât help but glance back, just once. Draco was still watching me, his expression unreadable, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes, something that almost looked like regret. It caught me off guard, and for a moment, I hesitated, but then I shook my head, pushing the thought away. Whatever it was, it didnât matter. I couldnât let myself believe that he cared, not after all these years.
The dungeons were dark and cold, the silence broken only by the echo of my footsteps as I wandered aimlessly. My thoughts swirled in a chaotic mess, a storm of anger, hurt, and confusion. How much longer could I keep this up? How much longer could I pretend that their words didnât affect me?
I turned a corner and found myself in an empty classroom. The door creaked as I pushed it open, and I slipped inside, closing it behind me. The room was dimly lit by a few scattered candles, the shadows dancing on the walls like specters.
It was here, in the silence, that everything I had been holding back finally broke free. The anger, the pain, the loneliness, all of it came crashing down on me, and I collapsed against the wall, my knees giving out as the first sob escaped my lips.
I buried my face in my hands, my body shaking with the force of my cries. I had fought so hard to be strong, to prove that I belonged in Slytherin, but it felt like I was losing the battle. No matter what I did, it was never enough. They would never accept me, never see me as anything other than a Muggle-born intruder.
All I wanted was to belong, to feel like I had a place in this world that didnât require me to constantly fight for every scrap of respect. But here, in the heart of Slytherin, surrounded by those who saw me as less than, I felt more alone than ever.
-----
I sat there, my body trembling from the force of my sobs, when the door creaked open behind me. I was too lost in my misery to care who had found me, too consumed by the hurt to acknowledge their presence.
âY/n.â Dracoâs voice broke the silence, slicing through the darkness like a knife. My breath hitched in my throat, tension flooding my veins. Of all the people who could have walked in, he was the last person I wanted to see.
âGo away,â I choked out, my voice hoarse and broken. âJust⊠leave me alone.â
But instead of the retreating footsteps I longed to hear, I listened as the door closed softly, the sound final, like a lock clicking into place. His footsteps drew closer, slow and steady, and before I could react, I felt his hands on me. He pulled me into his chest with a firmness that made it clear he wasnât planning to let go.
I stiffened in his arms, my entire body locking up at the unexpected contact. âLet me go.â I whispered, my voice barely audible as I weakly tried to push him away. But he didnât budge. Instead, he held me tighter, the warmth of his body pressing against the cold that had settled in my bones, threatening to melt the ice that had formed around my heart.
âIâm not letting you go.â Draco murmured, his breath warm against my ear. His voice, usually so sharp and cutting, was surprisingly gentle, sending a shiver down my spine. âNot until you listen to me.â
I struggled against him, my fists feebly pounding against his chest, but it was no use. I was too drained, too tired to fight him, and fresh tears welled up in my eyes, blurring my vision. âWhy are you doing this?â I cried, my voice breaking under the weight of my despair. âWhy now? After everythingâŠâ
âBecause Iâve been a fool.â he confessed, his voice thick with an emotion I had never heard from him before, regret. âIâve been blind, and Iâve hurt you in ways I can never take back. But Iâm here now, Y/n. Iâm here, and Iâm not going to let you go.â
His words only made me cry harder, the fight draining out of me as I slumped against him, my hands clutching at his robes in desperation. It was as if he was the only thing keeping me from falling apart completely. âYou donât understand.â I sobbed, my voice muffled against his chest. âYouâll never understandâŠâ
âMaybe not.â he whispered, his lips brushing against the shell of my ear in a way that sent another shiver down my spine. âBut I want to. I want to make things right, Y/n. Please, just⊠let me.â
I shook my head, the pain in my chest overwhelming, crushing. âYou canât. Itâs too late. Iâm broken, Draco. Iâm so tired of fightingâŠâ
His arms tightened around me, his voice dropping to a low, soothing murmur as he held me close. âThen stop fighting, Y/n. Stop fighting me. And let me care for you.â
His words wrapped around me like a promise, tempting me to believe, to trust in something I wasnât sure I could. âHow can I trust you?â I whispered, my voice trembling as I looked up at him, my tear-streaked face searching his for any sign of deception.
Draco pulled back slightly, just enough to tilt my chin up with the tips of his fingers, forcing me to meet his gaze. His silver eyes, usually so cold and calculating, now held a sincerity that made my heart ache. âI know I donât deserve your trust,â he said quietly, his thumb brushing softly against my cheek, wiping away a stray tear. âBut Iâm going to earn it, Y/n. Every day, Iâm going to prove to you that Iâm not the same person I was. Because youâre worth it. Youâre worth everything.â
Before I could respond, he leaned in, his breath ghosting over my lips as he hovered there for a moment, giving me a chance to pull away. When I didnât, he pressed his lips to mine, capturing my mouth in a kiss that was both tender and possessive, filled with all the things he couldnât say.
The kiss stole the breath from my lungs, leaving me dizzy and disoriented. I was too shocked to respond at first, my mind struggling to catch up with the reality of what was happening. But then, something inside me snapped, and I found myself kissing him back, my hands fisting in his robes as I pulled him closer, clinging to him like he was the only solid thing in a world that had suddenly turned upside down.
Draco growled low in his throat, the sound vibrating against my lips as he deepened the kiss, his hand sliding up to tangle in my hair, holding me in place as he took control. His other hand trailed down my back, his touch firm and possessive, sending sparks of heat through my body.
He pulled away slightly, his lips hovering just over mine as he whispered, âYouâre mine, Y/n. No one elseâs. Do you understand?â His voice was low and rough, filled with a need that made my knees weak.
I nodded, unable to find my voice, too overwhelmed by the intensity in his eyes, the way he looked at me like I was the only thing that mattered. He smirked, satisfied with how easily I gave in, and leaned in to press a soft kiss to the corner of my mouth, then my jaw, then lower, his lips trailing down the side of my neck.
My breath hitched as he found the sensitive spot just below my ear, his lips and teeth teasing the skin there. âDracoâŠâ I whispered, my voice trembling as I clutched at him, unsure whether I was trying to pull him closer or push him away.
He hummed in response, the sound vibrating against my skin as he continued to pepper kisses along my neck, his hand sliding under my robes to caress the bare skin of my back. âIâve got you.â he murmured, his voice soothing as he pulled me closer, his body pressing against mine in a way that made my head spin. âIâm not going to let anyone hurt you, not anymore. Youâre safe with me.â
He tilted my head to the side, his lips brushing over my ear as he whispered, âYouâre the princess of Slytherin now, my princess, and Iâll make sure you will always be happy and protected, Y/n. I swear it.â
His words sent a shiver down my spine, and I closed my eyes, letting myself get lost in the feeling of his lips on my skin, the warmth of his body against mine. For the first time in a long time, I felt⊠safe. Protected. And as much as I wanted to hold onto my anger, my hurt, I found it slipping away, replaced by something softer, something that scared me even more.
Dracoâs lips found mine again, and this time, the kiss was slower, more careful, as if he was savoring the moment, committing every detail to memory. When he finally pulled back, we were both breathless, our foreheads resting against each otherâs.
âIâm not going anywhere, Y/n.â he whispered, his voice filled with a quiet determination that made my heart skip a beat. âIâm going to prove to you that you can trust me, that Iâm not the same person I was. And Iâll start by protecting you from anyone who dares to hurt you.â
His words wrapped around me like a promise, a vow that he would keep no matter what it took. And as much as I wanted to doubt him, to push him away, I found myself nodding, my heart daring to believe that maybe, just maybe, things could be different. That maybe, with him by my side, I didnât have to fight alone anymore.
-----
After that night, everything between Draco and me changed.
The walls that had once divided us were replaced with a connection I never thought possible. Draco, who had been the source of so much pain and frustration, now became the one person I could rely on. The harsh, cold demeanor he had always worn like armor softened whenever we were alone, revealing a side of him that I had never imagined existed.
In the days that followed, Draco made good on his promises. His change was nothing short of impressive. He was always there, watching over me, making sure that no one dared to hurt me again. The whispers in the common room, once so biting and cruel, began to fade away. No one wanted to cross Draco Malfoy, and with him by my side, they knew better than to even try.
Our relationship, though new, was intense. Draco was possessive, his protective streak evident in everything he did. He walked me to every class, sat with me during meals, and his gaze never strayed far from me when we were in the common room. It was as if he had devoted himself to protecting me, and in some strange way, I found comfort in that.
But it wasnât just about protection. Draco was unexpectedly tender, constantly surprising me with small gestures of affection. He would brush his fingers lightly against my hand under the table, or tuck a stray lock of hair behind my ear as we studied in the library. He was always near, his presence like a shield against the rest of the world.
And at night, when the weight of the day would press down on me, he was there to hold me, to whisper soothing words in my ear until the anxiety and fear melted away. He would trail kisses along my skin, his touch gentle yet firm, grounding me in the moment, reminding me that I wasnât alone.
There were moments when the old doubts would creep in, when I would question how things had changed so quickly, but Draco was always there to quiet those fears. âI'm yours, love.â he would murmur, his voice filled with a possessive tenderness that both thrilled and terrified me. âNo one will ever hurt you again.â
The Draco Malfoy who had once been my enemy was gone, replaced by someone who saw me, who valued me. He wasnât perfect, he still had a temper, still had his moments of arrogance, but with me, he was different. He was softer, more open, his sharp edges dulled by the feelings he clearly struggled to express. And I found myself falling for him, despite everything, despite all the reasons why I shouldnât.
But perhaps the most surprising thing was how natural it felt. What had started as a relationship forged out of pain and misunderstanding had transformed into something deeper, something real. We were still figuring things out, still navigating the complexities of our feelings, but we were doing it together.
In Dracoâs arms, I found the safety and security I had craved for so long. And in me, Draco found someone who accepted him for who he was, flaws and all. We were an unlikely pair, the Muggle-born Slytherin and the prince of pure-blood supremacy, but somehow, it worked.
Draco had become my protector, my confidant, and, against all odds, my lover. And as we stood together, facing the world that had once sought to tear me apart, I knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, we would face them side by side. Because, for the first time I didnât feel alone. I felt cherished. I felt loved.
And that was worth everything.

The summer had been a dream, filled with sunlit days on the beach and warm, breezy evenings. You and Pablo had fallen into a rhythm that felt so natural it was almost as if you'd known each other for years instead of just a few weeks. Pablo had swept you off your feet with his effortless charm, quick wit, and the way he looked at you like you, with those intense brown eyes, like you were the only person in the world.
You couldn't believe your luck when he asked you to be his girlfriend during his summer break. It felt like everything was falling into place, a fairytale written just for the two of you. But as the summer days came to an end, and the new football season was knocking on the door, a part of you began to worry.
You had never told Pablo how crowds made you feel. How the noise, the press of bodies, the sheer overwhelming energy of it all could send your heart racing and your hands trembling. You didnât want to burden him, didnât want to ruin this perfect thing between you. So when Pablo asked you to come to his first game of the season, to be there in the stands supporting him, you agreed with a smile, even as dread curled in your stomach.
The day of the game arrived, and you found yourself in the stadium, the crowd a living, breathing entity around you. You could feel the weight of it pressing in on you, every cheer, every chant, every wave of excitement crashing over you in a way that made it hard to breathe. But you kept smiling, kept waving whenever Pablo glanced your way, telling yourself that you could do this.
But as the minutes ticked by, the noise, the energy, it all became too much. Your vision began to blur, faces around you merging into a chaotic swirl of colors and shapes, each one a reminder of how exposed and vulnerable you felt. The weight of hundreds of eyes pressing in on you was unbearable, and the thought of all those strangers witnessing your unraveling only heightened your distress.
You clutched the edges of your seat, desperate to calm yourself, but your body refused to cooperate. Your chest constricted painfully, and you struggled to draw in even the smallest breath. Your hands, shaking uncontrollably, were clammy with sweat. The air seemed too thick, the space too small, and the noise, oh, the noise as an unending flow of sound that drowned out all sense and reason.
Panic surged through you, each second feeling like an eternity. You tried to focus on the field, on Pablo, willing his familiar presence to calm you, but even that failed. The world was slipping away from you, and you were powerless to stop it.
Suddenly, through the chaos, you heard your name. âY/n!â Pabloâs voice, filled with urgency, sliced through the noise, a steady point in the chaos. You blinked, and through the blur, you saw him sprinting towards you, his eyes wide with concern. He must have seen the terror in your expression from the field, because in the next heartbeat, he was at your side, his presence radiating a fierce protectiveness.
"Mi amor, whatâs wrong?" His voice was low, yet filled with an intensity that made the anxiety gripping your chest loosen, if only slightly.
You opened your mouth to respond, but the words caught in your throat, strangled by the overwhelming panic. All you could do was shake your head, tears spilling over as the pressure of the moment crushed down on you.
Without hesitation, Pablo pulled you into his arms, enveloping you in his warmth. He held you tightly against his chest, his strong arms a shield against the storm raging inside you. âShh, itâs okay, princesa. Iâm here, Iâve got you.â His voice, soothing and steady, was like a lifeline, pulling you back from the brink as he rocked you gently.
But you could feel the eyes on you, hundreds, maybe thousands of them, watching, judging. The thought made you want to disappear, to shrink into nothingness. The crowd, the strangers, all felt too close, their gazes stripping you bare. You buried your face deeper into Pabloâs chest, trying to block them out, but the feeling of being surrounded was inescapable.
Just then, Pedro appeared at your side, his face etched with concern. He quickly assessed the situation, his eyes narrowing slightly as he glanced at the forming crowd. "Come on, let's get you both somewhere quieter." he suggested, his voice firm, and Pablo nodded without a momentâs hesitation.
Pabloâs grip on you tightened as he lifted you effortlessly into his arms, his protective instincts flaring. With Pedro clearing the way, they guided you through the crowd of people, their presence a barrier against the overwhelming crush of the crowd. You could feel the weight of the stares on your back, the whispers that followed you, but Pabloâs hold on you never wavered. His touch, his scent, the steady beat of his heart, each was a small anchor, keeping you secure as the world around you spun out of control.
Finally, they led you into a quiet room deep within the stadium, far from the noise and chaos. The second the door closed, shutting out the world, Pablo was in front of you, his hands cupping your face with such gentleness that it nearly broke your heart. His eyes, filled with love and concern, searched yours. âHermosa, look at me. Just focus on me.â
Your vision was still hazy, but you forced yourself to meet his gaze, clinging to it like a lifeline. His presence was a balm to your nerves, and as you focused on him, the world outside began to fade into the background. Pablo leaned in, pressing soft, reassuring kisses to your forehead, your cheeks, your lips, each one a silent promise that you were safe, that he was here with you. âYouâre okay, amor. Iâm here. Breathe with me, okay?â
You nodded, following his lead as he inhaled slowly, deeply, and exhaled, his breath warm against your skin. He guided you through each breath, his voice a steady tempo that drew you back from the void. His hands never left you, one rubbed soothing circles on your back, the other brushed your hair away from your face with such tenderness that it brought tears to your eyes.
As your breathing steadied and the tightness in your chest began to ease, Pablo pulled your back into his chest, enveloping you in his warmth. The gesture was simple, but it made you feel protected, cherished. âBetter?â he asked, his thumb gently brushing away the tears that had slipped down your cheeks.
You nodded, still shaken but feeling more like yourself again. âThank you.â you whispered, your voice trembling with the remnants of fear. âIâm sorry, I didnât want to ruin this for youâŠâ
âShh, donât apologize, amor.â Pablo said softly, pulling you closer until there was no space between you. âYou could never ruin anything. I just wish you had told me. I donât want you to go through this alone."
âI didnât want to worry you.â you admitted, your voice small as you leaned into his embrace, finding comfort in the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
âWorrying about you is part of loving you.â he replied, his voice laced with emotion as he pressed a tender kiss to the top of your head. âI want to be there for you, always. You donât have to hide anything from me, okay?â
âOkay.â you whispered, overwhelmed by the depth of his care, by the way he made you feel seen and loved, even in your most vulnerable moments.
Pablo tilted your chin up, his eyes locking onto yours with a seriousness that made your breath catch. âI love you, Y/n. Youâre my everything, and Iâll do whatever it takes to make sure youâre okay.â
Before you could respond, he kissed you, slow and tender, a kiss that held all the words he didnât need to say aloud. When he finally pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours, his breath mingling with yours in the small space between you.
âThank you.â you said again, the words barely sufficient to convey the depth of your gratitude.
âAlways, princesa.â he murmured, his voice the steady, comforting presence you needed. âAlways.â
Pablo held you close for what felt like an eternity, his arms a fortress protecting you from the outside world. The chaos and noise of the stadium seemed like a distant memory, replaced by the gentle hum of Pabloâs heartbeat against your ear. His fingers traced delicate patterns on your back, a calming rhythm that matched the steady rise and fall of your chest as your breathing returned to normal.
âIâm sorry.â you whispered again, the words slipping out before you could stop them. Despite his reassurances, you couldnât help but feel guilty for pulling him away from the game.
Pablo pulled back just enough to look into your eyes, his expression serious but filled with tenderness. âPrincesa, donât ever apologize for something like this. Youâre more important to me than any game. Football will always be there, but you? Youâre my life.â
His words made your heart flutter, and you could see the sincerity in his gaze, the intensity of his feelings for you. He wasnât just saying this to make you feel better, he meant every word. It made you feel loved in a way you hadnât known was possible.
Gently, he brushed a strand of hair from your face, tucking it behind your ear. âLet me take care of you, okay? Whatever you need, Iâm here.â
You nodded, your eyes filling with tears again, but this time they were tears of gratitude. âI donât deserve you.â you murmured, overwhelmed by the depth of his kindness.
Pabloâs expression softened even more, if that was possible, and he leaned in to press a soft kiss to your forehead. âYou deserve the world, Y/n. And Iâm going to spend every day proving that to you.â
He kissed your forehead again, then your nose, and finally your lips, each kiss slow and deliberate, as if he was savoring the taste of you, the feel of you. His hands cradled your face with a gentleness that made your heart ache, as if you were something precious, something to be cherished.
When he finally pulled back, he didnât go far, his forehead resting against yours as he whispered, âLetâs get you out of here, hermosa. You need some fresh air.â
You nodded, feeling safe and secure in his presence. âOkay.â you agreed, your voice still shaky but stronger than before.
Pablo smiled, that boyish grin that had first stolen your heart, and stood up, pulling you gently to your feet. He kept his arm wrapped around your waist as he led you to the door, his touch reassuring and steadying.
Pedro was waiting outside, concern still etched on his face. âIs she okay?â he asked softly, his gaze flicking between you and Pablo.
âSheâs going to be.â Pablo answered, his voice filled with quiet determination. âThanks for helping us, Pedro.â
Pedro nodded, offering you a small smile. âAny time. Do you need anything else?â
Pablo shook his head. âNo, Iâve got her. But can you let the coach know I wonât be coming back to the game?â
Pedroâs eyebrows shot up in surprise, but he didnât argue. âOf course. Take care of her.â
Pablo thanked him again before guiding you out of the stadium, his hand never leaving your waist. The moment you stepped outside, the cool evening air washed over you, a welcome relief after the stifling heat of the stadium.
Pablo led you to a quiet spot away from the crowds, where the sounds of the city were distant murmurs. He sat down on a bench and gently pulled you into his lap, wrapping his arms around you and holding you close.
You let out a shaky breath, leaning into his warmth, feeling the tension slowly melt away. Pabloâs hand rubbed soothing circles on your back, his touch a constant reminder that you were safe, that he was here.
âDo you feel better out here?â he asked softly, his breath warm against your ear.
You nodded, closing your eyes as you savored the moment, the peace of being in his arms. âMuch better.â you whispered, your voice filled with relief.
Pablo kissed the side of your head, his lips lingering as he murmured, âGood. Iâll stay here with you as long as you need.â
You smiled, turning your head to meet his gaze. His eyes were dark and intense, filled with so much emotion that it took your breath away. It was a look that spoke of devotion, of a love so deep and unshakeable that it made you feel like the most special person in the world.
âI love you, Pablo.â you said, the words slipping out before you could second-guess yourself. They felt right, true, like a confession you had been holding in for far too long.
His eyes softened, and a slow smile spread across his face, one that made your heart skip a beat. âI love you too, Y/n.â he replied, his voice filled with a sincerity that left no room for doubt. âSo much.â
He kissed you then, a deep, lingering kiss that made the world fade away. It was a kiss that spoke of promises, of a future together, of a love that would endure whatever challenges came your way.
When he finally pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours, his breath mingling with yours in the small space between you. âLetâs go home, amor.â he murmured. âI want to take care of you tonight.â
You nodded, a soft smile playing on your lips as you let him guide you away from the stadium, away from the noise and chaos. With Pablo by your side, you knew that no matter what happened, you would always have a safe place to fall.

The sun was still hiding beneath the horizon when you and Pablo loaded the last of your bags into the trunk of his car. The early morning air wrapped around you like a cool, crisp blanket, a perfect complement to the excitement bubbling in your chest. As you watched Pablo carefully arrange everything, ensuring every item had its place, you couldnât help but smile at his focus, the way his brow furrowed slightly, the way his lips pursed in concentration. He had always been like this, careful, thoughtful, and utterly dedicated to making sure everything was just right.
Finally, after a few more adjustments, Pablo seemed satisfied. He turned to you, his eyes gleaming with excitement and something deeper, something that made your heart flutter in your chest. âReady for our trip, mi amor?â he asked, his voice carrying the kind of eagerness that you couldnât help but respond to.
âReady as ever, Pablo.â You tried to keep your voice steady, but the excitement slipped through, making your words sound lighter, brighter.
Pabloâs grin spread across his face, a boyish smile that made him look even more handsome in the soft morning light. He closed the distance between you in two quick strides, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close. You could feel the warmth of his body against yours, the steady beat of his heart, and it made you feel so safe, so loved. He leaned down, his lips brushing your forehead in a kiss so tender it made your breath catch. âYou look beautiful, hermosa. Even this early in the morning.â
You laughed softly, the sound mingling with the gentle breeze that rustled the leaves around you. âYouâre just saying that because you love me.â
Pablo tilted his head, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that sent shivers down your spine. âThatâs exactly why Iâm saying it.â His voice was a whisper, a murmur that sent warmth flooding through you just before his lips captured yours in a kiss that was soft and slow, but full of promise. It was the kind of kiss that made time stop, that made everything else fade away until there was nothing but you and him, standing there in the first light of day.
When he finally pulled away, it was only far enough to look into your eyes. âAfter you, princesa.â he said, his voice playful as he opened the passenger door for you, his hand guiding you into the seat with a touch that lingered just a moment longer than necessary.
You settled in, feeling the softness of the seat beneath you, the warmth of Pabloâs gaze still on you as he jogged around to the driverâs side. He slid in beside you, and the car roared to life, the sound breaking the quiet of the early morning as you began to leave the city behind. Barcelona slowly faded in the rearview mirror, the streets growing quieter, the buildings giving way to the open fields and rolling hills that stretched out before you. Slowly leaving the familiar behind to visit Pabloâs hometown, Seville.
The first part of the journey was filled with light conversation and laughter, the kind of easy banter that only comes with knowing someone so deeply, with loving them so fully. The carâs radio played softly, a mix of songs that had become the soundtrack of your relationship, each one bringing back memories of late-night drives and stolen moments.
As the miles rolled by, you noticed Pablo kept glancing at you, a small, mischievous smile playing at the corners of his lips. His eyes sparkled with that familiar teasing look, the one that always made you blush, even after all this time.
âWhat?â you asked, your voice filled with mock suspicion as you feigned innocence, even though you knew exactly what he was doing.
âNothing.â He tried to keep a straight face, but his grin broke through, making his eyes crinkle at the corners. âI just love looking at you. Youâre even more beautiful in the morning light.â
You felt your heart skip a beat, a warmth spreading through you that had nothing to do with the sun climbing higher in the sky. You reached out and playfully swatted his arm, trying to hide your blush. âKeep your eyes on the road, Romeo.â
He laughed, the sound rich and warm, filling the car with a joy that made everything feel right in the world. âDonât worry, mi vida. Iâd never let anything happen to you.â
A comfortable silence settled over you after that, the kind of silence that wasnât awkward but was instead filled with a sense of peace, of contentment. You watched the scenery pass by, the fields of wildflowers and vineyards that stretched out on either side of the road, and you felt a deep sense of gratitude for this moment, for this man who had become your everything.
Every so often, Pablo would reach over and gently place his hand on your thigh, his thumb tracing soothing patterns on your skin. It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes about the depth of his feelings for you, about the connection that had grown between you over the months, the kind of connection that felt like it was meant to last forever.
As the morning turned into afternoon, the sun climbed higher in the sky, casting a warm glow over everything it touched. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming wildflowers, carried in through the open windows, and you sighed contentedly, leaning your head back against the seat.
âFeeling tired?â Pabloâs voice broke through your thoughts, filled with concern.
âA little.â you admitted, closing your eyes for a moment, letting the warmth of the sun and the sound of his voice wash over you. âBut Iâm happy. This is perfect.â
âWhy donât you rest for a bit, amor?â he suggested, his tone soft, as if he was trying to coax you into it. âIâll wake you when weâre closer.â
You smiled at his thoughtfulness, but you shook your head. âI donât want to miss any of this. Besides, I love talking with you.â
Pabloâs expression softened, and he reached over to tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear, his touch gentle and affectionate. âI love talking with you too, mi amor.â
The miles continued to pass by, and you and Pablo fell into a rhythm of sharing stories, memories from your childhoods that made you both laugh until your sides hurt, and dreams for the future that made your heart swell with hope. The more you talked, the more you realized just how deeply connected you were, how perfectly your lives had intertwined in a way that felt so natural, so right.
At one point, you decided to play a game of â20 Questions.â taking turns asking each other random things. The questions started off light and silly, making you both laugh, but as the game went on, they became more intimate, more revealing.
âIf you could spend a day anywhere in the world, with anyone, where would it be and who would you choose?â Pablo asked, his eyes focused on the road, but his attention clearly on you.
You didnât even have to think about it. âRight here, with you. This is all I need.â
Pablo glanced over at you, his eyes filled with so much emotion that it took your breath away. âYou always know the right thing to say, hermosa.â he murmured, his voice thick with affection.
âOnly because itâs true.â you replied softly, reaching over to place your hand on his thigh, feeling the warmth of his skin through his jeans.
He covered your hand with his own, giving it a gentle squeeze. âI feel the same way, princesa. Thereâs nowhere else Iâd rather be than right here, with you.â
As the sun began its slow descent in the sky, you suggested stopping for a break when you spotted a picturesque overlook. Pablo agreed, pulling the car into a shaded spot. The view was breathtaking, with endless fields of sunflowers stretching out before you, their golden faces turned towards the sun. The scene was so beautiful, it almost didnât feel real, as if you had stepped into a painting.
You both got out of the car, and Pablo immediately wrapped his arms around you from behind, pulling you close against his chest. âThis is perfect.â he whispered, his lips brushing your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
You leaned back into his embrace, feeling the steady beat of his heart against your back. âIt really is.â you whispered back, your voice filled with awe.
You stood there together for a few minutes, just enjoying the peacefulness of the moment, the world seeming to fade away until there was nothing left but the two of you, wrapped in each otherâs warmth.
After a while, Pablo turned you around in his arms, his hands resting on your hips as he looked into your eyes. His gaze was intense, filled with so much love that it made your heart ache. âYou have no idea how much you mean to me, Y/n. Youâre everything Iâve ever wanted and more.â
Your heart swelled at his words, a lump forming in your throat. âPablo, I feel the same way. Iâve never been happier than I am with you.â
He smiled, that boyish grin you loved so much, and leaned in to kiss you. It started off slow and sweet, but soon the kiss deepened, filled with a passion that made your knees weak. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer as his hands roamed up and down your back, holding you tight.
When you finally pulled away, both of you were breathless, your foreheads resting against each otherâs. âI canât wait for you to meet my family.â Pablo said, his voice husky with emotion. âTheyâre going to love you.â
âI hope so.â you replied, your voice shaky with emotion. âBut as long as I have you, I know everything will be okay.â
âIt will be, mi vida. I promise.â He kissed you again, softer this time, but just as full of love.
With your break over, you both got back in the car, Pablo driving on with renewed energy. The sun was beginning to dip lower in the sky, casting long shadows over the landscape. The closer you got to Seville, the more excited Pablo became, pointing out landmarks and telling you stories from his childhood that made you laugh and feel even more connected to him.
By the time you reached the outskirts of Seville, the city was bathed in the golden light of the late afternoon. Pablo turned off the main road, taking a route that led through a quiet neighborhood with narrow, winding streets lined with white-washed houses and vibrant bougainvillea. Finally, he pulled up in front of a charming house with a small garden out front, the kind of house that felt like it was filled with memories, with love.
Pablo turned off the engine and took a deep breath, his excitement tinged with a bit of nervousness. He looked over at you, his eyes searching yours as if looking for reassurance. âThis is it, mi amor. My home.â
You smiled, reaching over to take his hand in yours, feeling the warmth of his skin against your palm. âIâm ready, Pablo. Letâs go meet your family.â
He squeezed your hand, his expression softening as his eyes filled with love. âThank you for being here with me, Y/n. I love you.â
âI love you too, Pablo.â you whispered, leaning in for one last kiss before stepping out of the car.
Together, you walked up to the front door, hand in hand, ready to take on whatever came next. As Pablo rang the doorbell, you felt a rush of anticipation, but also a deep sense of contentment. This road trip had been more than just a journey to Seville, it had been a journey that brought you and Pablo even closer, a journey that had shown you just how much you meant to each other.
When the door opened and you were greeted by the warm smiles of Pabloâs family, you knew that this was just the beginning of many more adventures to come. And as you stood there with Pablo by your side, you couldnât help but feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who loved you as deeply as he did.

Walking the hallways of Merlin Academy was Y/n Heart, the Princess of Hearts. Her presence in the academy was like a ray of sunshine piercing through a stormy sky. She was the embodiment of grace and kindness, her heart as pure as the white and pink gowns she often wore. Y/n's smile was a beacon of hope, and her gentle nature made her a beloved figure even among those who were destined to become the villains of tomorrow.
She helped wherever she could, tutoring students struggling with difficult spells, mending friendships torn apart by petty rivalries, and even offering a kind word or gesture to those who had wronged her. It was said that the Princess of Hearts never held a grudge, no matter what happened. This made her stand out, especially to one particular student: James Hook.
James, with his cocky grin and a twinkle of mischief in his eyes, was a force to be reckoned with. He is clever, cunning, and always at the center of attention, James had a way of making everyone notice him, whether through charm or a well-placed scheme.
But Y/n was different. She wasnât drawn to him because of his reputation or his undeniable good looks. She was drawn to the person she believed he could be, the person she saw glimpses of when he wasnât wearing his egoscentric mask. And as much as James tried to hide it, he was drawn to her too. Her kindness was a puzzle he couldnât quite figure out. Why would someone so good, so pure, even glance his way? It intrigued him, fascinated him, and before he knew it, he found himself wanting her attention more than anything.
One afternoon, as the sun cast golden light across the academy grounds, James found himself sitting with his usual group of close friends, Uliana, Morgie, Maleficent, and Hades. They were an unstoppable group, feared by most and respected by the rest.
They were deep in discussion, plotting their next grand scheme, when Jamesâs gaze drifted to Y/n, who was laughing softly as she helped a younger student with their spellcasting. Her laughter was like a melody, and it made something in Jamesâs chest tighten.
âHook, are you even listening?â Maleficentâs sharp voice cut through his thoughts.
James blinked, refocusing on his friends. âWhat?â
Hades smirked, his blue eyes gleaming with amusement. âWe were talking about pranks, but it seems like your mind is elsewhere, mate. Donât tell me youâre still thinking about the princess.â
Uliana rolled her eyes. âOf course, he is. Heâs been drooling over her for months. Itâs pathetic.â
James got annoyed at her comment, but he knew better than to argue with Uliana. Instead, he leaned back, a cocky grin spreading across his face. âIâm not drooling over anyone. Iâm justâŠcurious. Sheâs not like the rest of us... or them.â
âSheâs a goody two-shoes.â Morgie scoffed. âToo good for her own good, if you ask me.â
Maleficentâs eyes gleamed with wicked delight. âMaybe itâs time she learned what itâs like to be on the other side of the story. Sheâs always helping everyone else, letâs see how she handles a little chaos.â
Jamesâs interest piqued at her suggestion. âWhat do you have in mind?â
Maleficent leaned in, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. âWe make her think sheâs ruined a spell. Something big, something that will make everyone blame her. Sheâs so fragile, so delicate, itâll throw her off balance. Sheâll be so flustered, she wonât know what to do.â
Uliana grinned, feeling satisfied at the idea. âPerfect. And when sheâs vulnerable, thatâs when you swoop in, James. Play the hero, comfort her, and sheâll be yours.â
James hesitated, a small voice in the back of his mind telling him this was a horrible idea. But the desire to see Y/n flustered, to see her notice him in a way she never had before, was too strong. He wanted to break through that perfect exterior, to see the real girl beneath it. And maybe, just maybe, sheâd see the real James Hook in the process.
âAll right,â he agreed, his voice firm. âLetâs do it.â
-----
The plan was set in motion the very next day. They waited until Y/n was in the library, her favorite place to study and help others. It was a quiet afternoon, with only a few students milling about.
James and his group hid behind a row of shelves, watching as Y/n worked on her own studies, her face a picture of concentration. Maleficent whispered the spell under her breath, casting an illusion over Y/nâs book. To her, it would appear as though she had just activated a spell that wasnât supposed to be there, one that would have far reaching consequences.
James watched as Y/nâs eyes widened in horror. The book in front of her began to glow brightly, the pages turning black as smoke began to rise from it. She gasped, her hand flying to her mouth as she frantically tried to undo whatever she thought she had done.
âNo, no, noâŠâ she whispered, her voice trembling with fear. âWhat have I done?â
The smoke began to fill the library, causing students to panic and flee. In the chaos, Y/n stood frozen, her eyes wide with terror. She tried to close the book, but it wouldnât budge. Tears welled up in her eyes as she realized that she was the cause of this disaster.
James felt a pang of guilt as he watched her. This wasnât supposed to be this intense. She looked genuinely terrified, and for a moment, he considered calling the whole thing off. But then Uliana nudged him, reminding him of the plan, and he steeled himself.
âGo on, Hook.â she whispered. âTime to be the hero.â
James stepped out from behind the shelves, putting on his most concerned expression. âY/n! What happened?â he called out, rushing over to her.
Y/n looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears. âI-I donât know.â she stammered, her voice breaking. âI was just reading, and thenâŠthis happened. I donât know what to do, James. I think Iâve ruined everything.â
Jamesâs heart twisted at the sight of her so distraught. This was supposed to be fun, just a harmless prank. But seeing her like this, so broken, made him realize that they had gone too far.
âHey, itâs okay.â he said softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. âWeâll figure it out. You didnât mean to do it, right?â
Y/n shook her head, tears spilling down her cheeks. âOf course not! I would neverâŠI just wanted to help.â
Jamesâs mind was conflicted. He opened his mouth to confess, to tell her that it was all a joke, but before he could, Maleficent and the others stepped forward, their faces twisted in mock outrage.
âWhat did you do, Y/n?â Maleficent demanded, her voice cold and accusing. âDo you realize what youâve done? You could've hurted everyone here!â
Y/n whinced as if struck, her face paling. âI-I didnât mean toâŠâ she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Uliana joined in, her tone harsh. âYouâve really messed up this time, princess. Everyoneâs going to blame you for this. How could you be so careless?â
Y/n looked around, panic setting in as other students began to gather, their whispers growing louder. The room seemed to close in on her, and the weight of their accusations pressed down on her shoulders. Her breathing became rapid, her chest tightening with the overwhelming pressure of it all.
James could see the devastation in her eyes, and it cut him to the core. This was all wrong. He had wanted her attention, but not like this. Not at the cost of her kindness, her joy. But it was too late. The damage was done, and there was no taking it back now.
Finally, the librarian, sensing the commotion, rushed over and quickly dispelled the illusion with a flick of her hand. The smoke vanished, and the book returned to its normal state, as if nothing had ever happened. But the tension in the room remained, and the looks of disappointment and suspicion from the other students lingered in the air.
Y/n stared at the book, her hands trembling. âIt was⊠it wasnât real?â she whispered, her voice thick with confusion and betrayal.
James took a step forward, his heart in his throat. âY/n, Iââ
But she didnât wait to hear his explanation. With a choked sob, she turned and fled from the library, leaving James standing there with the bitter taste of regret on his tongue.
The other students slowly began to take their leave, casting wary glances at James and the other VKs as they did. The prank had not gone as planned, at least not for him. He could still hear Y/nâs sobs echo.
-----
Y/n ran through the hallways, her thoughts a whirlwind of confusion, pain, and betrayal. She could barely breathe, her mind racing with questions that had no answers. Why would they do this? How could they think this was funny? Her heart ached, but beneath that pain, something darker began to stir. Something that had been tucked far away within her until now.
She fled to her dorm, slamming the door behind her, the sound echoing through the empty halls. The room was dark, only a few candles flickering to life as she entered. She collapsed onto her bed, her sobs muffled by the pillows. But as the tears subsided, a cold clarity took their place.
They had done this to her. They had humiliated her, turned her kindness into a weapon against her. And why? For what? A laugh? A fleeting moment of power?
Slowly, Y/n sat up, wiping the tears from her eyes. As she looked into the mirror across the room, she barely recognized the girl staring back at her. There was no more kindness in those eyes, no more warmth. Only cold, hard determination.
She stood, crossing the room with newfound purpose. Her reflection shifted as she approached the mirror, the girl she once was fading away to reveal something new. Something stronger.
âLove ain't it.â she whispered to herself, her voice steady and devoid of the fear that had gripped her earlier, âIâll show them what real power is.â
Y/n opened a drawer in her vanity, pulling out a deck of cards that had been passed down through her family for generations. The cards were old, their edges worn, but they held a power that had been waiting to be awakened. She shuffled them expertly, feeling the magic pulsing through them, ready to be unleashed.
She drew the Queen of Hearts, holding the card up to the light. The queen on the card stared back at her, regal and commanding, her eyes burning with a ruthless fire. Y/n smiled, a smile that held no warmth, only the promise of revenge.
âThey will learn.â she murmured, tracing the edge of the card with her finger. âThey will all learn what it means to cross me.â
The next morning, Y/n walked into the school with her head held high. The whispers started as soon as she entered, but she didnât flinch. She didnât falter. Instead, she welcomed them, her heart hardened by the betrayal she had suffered.
James and the others watched her approach, unease settling in their stomachs. There was something different about her, something that made even the boldest of them hesitate.
âY/n,â James began, stepping forward, his voice laced with guilt and hesitation, âabout yesterdayââ
âSave it.â Y/n interrupted, her voice cold and sharp. She looked at him, her gaze piercing through him as if she could see into the very depths of his soul. âI know what you did, James. All of you.â
James opened his mouth to protest, but the words died in his throat when he saw the look in her eyes. This wasnât the Y/n he had known. This was someone else entirely, someone he had helped create.
âYou wanted to see me break?â she continued, her tone dripping with disdain. âWell, congratulations. But I wonât be broken again. Youâll wish you had never laid eyes on me, Hook.â
With that, she turned on her heel and walked away, leaving James and the others standing there, stunned and speechless. They had set out to play a cruel game, but they had awakened something far more dangerous than they could have ever anticipated.
As Y/n walked away, the students parted for her, their eyes wide with a mix of fear and awe. The Queen of Hearts was born that day, not from blood, but from betrayal, and she would not stop until she had claimed her throne.
-----
During the following days, Y/nâs transformation into the ruthless Queen of Hearts became evident to everyone around her. The once gentle, compassionate girl who had been the heart of the school was gone, replaced by a figure of authority and fear. She moved with purpose, her every action calculated, her words sharp and decisive. She was no longer the one seeking approval or friendship. Now she commanded respect and loyalty, or else.
The first to feel the sting of her new persona was Maleficent. She had enjoyed manipulating others, reveling in the chaos she created. But now, Y/n had taken control, and she didnât tolerate any challenges to her newfound authority.
It began with small things. A snide remark from Maleficent was met with a cold glare from Y/n, and suddenly, Maleficent found herself unable to speak, her voice trapped by a spell Y/n had cast with just a flick of her fingers. The rest of the group watched in shock as Y/n simply turned her back on Maleficent, leaving her to struggle in silence until she finally managed to break the spell hours later. By then, the message was clear: Y/n was in charge now.
Next, she turned her attention to Uliana, the leader, who had been so eager to see her fall. Y/n began to dismantle Ulianaâs influence within the school, spreading rumors that twisted and distorted the truth, just as they had done to her. It didnât take long for people to distance themselves from Uliana, fearful of being caught in Y/nâs crossfire. Uliana, once the most feared villain in school, found herself increasingly isolated and powerless.
Even James, who she used to have a secret crush on, was not spared from Y/nâs wrath. She knew how to play with his emotions, manipulating him with a cruel precision that left him torn between guilt and his old feelings for her. She dangled forgiveness in front of him like a treasure, only to snatch it away when he reached for it. It wasnât long before he was a shell of the confident boy he had once been, reduced to a nervous wreck who jumped at his own shadow.
But Y/nâs power extended beyond just her former tormentors. She began to influence the entire school, her reputation growing with each calculated move she made. Those who had once looked down on her now feared her, and those who had been her friends found themselves questioning whether they even knew her anymore. She was no longer just another student, she was a force to be reckoned with.
One afternoon, as she walked through the halls, she overheard a group of students whispering about her. Their words, filled with fear and awe, brought a small smile to her lips. But when she caught sight of a younger student, a girl who had always looked up to her, she paused.
The girl stared at her with wide, frightened eyes, clutching her books tightly to her chest. Y/n felt a pang of something deep within her, regret perhaps? Or was it just a reminder of the person she used to be? The girlâs gaze was filled with admiration and fear, as if she couldnât decide whether Y/n was a hero or a villain.
âY/n?â the girl asked hesitantly, her voice trembling. âIs it true? Are you really the Queen of Hearts now?â
Y/n looked down at her, her expression unreadable. For a moment, the cold mask she had worn so well faltered. She saw a glimpse of her former self in the girl, a reminder of the kindness she had once believed in. But that kindness had been shattered, replaced by something darker and far more powerful.
âYes.â Y/n finally replied, her voice steady and unwavering. âI am the Queen of Hearts. And fear is more important if I'm gonna rule for centuries.â
The girl nodded quickly, backing away before turning and fleeing down the hall. Y/n watched her go, the smile slipping from her face as she turned and continued on her way. The title of Queen of Hearts suited her, but it came with a price, one she was willing to pay, even if it meant losing the last bit of who she used to be.
That night, Y/n returned to her dorm, the weight of her decisions pressing down on her. She stood before the mirror, staring at the reflection that no longer felt like her own. The Queen of Hearts stared back at her, powerful and determent, but there was a hollowness in her eyes that she couldnât ignore.
Was this what she truly wanted? Was this the path she was destined to walk? The power she had gained was intoxicating, but it came at the cost of everything she had once held dear. She had become the very thing she had feared most, a ruler of hearts, but with none left to rule her own.
As she turned away from the mirror, Y/n knew there was no going back. She had chosen this path, and now she would walk it to the end, wherever it might lead. The Queen of Hearts had been born, and she would reign with an iron fist, even if it meant ruling over an kingdom that feared her name.
-----
Years had passed, and the memory of that fateful day at Merlin Academy continued to haunt James like a shadow he could never escape. No matter how many treasures he plundered or victories he claimed, the regret was weighing him down, a constant reminder of the cruel prank that had shattered the heart of the one person heâd ever truly cared about.
Y/n Heart, the girl with a heart so pure that it radiated warmth, kindness, and hope, had been transformed into the ruthless Queen of Hearts. The vibrant pinks and whites that once symbolized her gentle spirit had darkened into the harsh reds and blacks of her unforgiving new persona. She had become a ruler feared by all, a queen with a heart as cold as ice. And James knew it was all his fault.
But in the years that followed, James had changed too. He had grown into the most incredible pirate, a captain known for his sword skills across the seas. Yet, all the power and fame in the world couldnât fill the void that Y/n had left behind. He had tried to move on, but the regret always lingered, a wound that refused to heal. He had never found the courage to apologize, fearing that it was too late, that she was lost to him forever.
Until now.
A grand event was being held at Merlin Academy, a reunion of sorts, bringing together old students and friends. James knew she would be there. It was the perfect opportunity to finally face her, to tell her the truth, and to beg for her forgiveness if need be. He couldnât run from his past any longer.
The day of the event, the academy was alive with music and laughter, old memories resurfacing as former students greeted one another with smiles and stories. But Jamesâs heart was heavy with the weight of what he needed to do.
When he saw her standing across the grand hall, she was more beautiful than he remembered, though she wore her icy demeanor like armor. The red and black dress she worn only accentuated the coldness in her eyes, but James could still see the girl he once knew underneath it all.
Summoning every ounce of courage he had, James approached her, each step echoing with the past he wished he could forget. He could feel the eyes of others on him, whispers of surprise and curiosity following in his wake, but he ignored them. His focus was entirely on her.
âPrincess.â he greeted softly, using the name he had called her so many times before, hoping it might stir some of the old feelings between them.
Y/nâs eyes narrowed at the sound of his voice, her expression hardening. âIâm no longer a princess, James.â she replied, her voice as cold as winter. âThat girl died a long time ago.â
James swallowed hard, the guilt tightening in his chest. âLass⊠Y/n, please, hear me out.â
She tilted her head slightly, a dark smile curving her lips. âYou have a lot of nerve, Hook, approaching me after all this time. What could you possibly have to say that would interest me?â
James felt the sting of her words, but he wasnât disheartend. He had come too far to back down now. âI know.â he admitted, his voice trembling slightly. âI know I donât deserve it, but please, just listen. I was a fool, Y/n. I did something cruel because I didnât know how to tell you how I felt. I never wanted to hurt you, I never wanted things to go as far as they did. I just⊠I just wanted you to notice me.â
Her eyes, colder than ever, locked onto his with a mixture of bitterness and sadness. âYou did more than make me notice, James. You made sure I would never forget.â
James felt a pang in his chest, the weight of his actions pressing down on him. âIâm sorry. Truly, I am. Iâve spent years regretting what I did, wishing I could take it back. I never wanted you to become someone else because of me.â
Y/nâs gaze intensified, the memories of that day rushing back with a force she couldnât ignore. Her hand moved almost instinctively to the hilt of the jeweled dagger at her side. The room seemed to grow colder as she stepped closer to him, her voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. âAnd what makes you think I wonât cut off your head right now? Just like the many others who have dared to wrong me.â
James flinched at the venom in her words, his heart racing. He knew she wasnât bluffing, she had the power and the will to carry out that threat. But he also knew that beneath the anger and the pain, there was still a part of her that remembered who she used to be.
âBecause.â he said softly, his eyes never leaving hers, âI know that the girl I fell in love with is still in there, somewhere. And Iâm not afraid to face her wrath if it means I can earn her forgiveness.â
Her grip on the dagger tightened, and for a terrifying moment, James thought she might actually go through with it. But then something flickered in her eyes, a hesitation, a doubt. He could feel the tension between them, thick as the silence that followed, but he didnât move. He wouldnât run. Not this time.
Y/nâs breath caught in her throat as she stared at him. His words had struck a chord, one she had buried deep beneath layers of ice. The part of her that had once loved him. The part that still, despite everything, longed for him, was fighting to break free.
âJames.â she whispered, her voice trembling with the weight of her conflicting emotions. âYou donât know what Iâve become. Iâm not the girl you knew. Iâm not the girl you might have loved.â
James dared to step closer, his hand reaching up to gently touch her cheek. âThen let me love the woman youâve become.â he whispered, his voice filled with a tenderness that caught her off guard.
His touch was warm, a stark contrast to the cold fury she had surrounded herself with for so long. Y/n felt herself trembling, her resolve cracking under the weight of his gentle caress. She wanted to pull away, to push him out of her life forever, but she couldnât. The warmth of his hand on her cheek, the sincerity in his eyes, the soft, pleading tone in his voice, it was all too much.
âIâve missed you.â he murmured, his lips brushing against her ear, sending a shiver down her spine. âIâve missed the way you laugh, the way you light up a room, the way you made me feel like I could be better. Iâve missed you, Y/n. Please, let me in. Let me try to fix what I broke.â
The ice around her heart was strong, but it wasnât unbreakable. Slowly, her grip on the dagger loosened, and she let it fall to the floor with a soft clatter. She closed her eyes, leaning into his touch, letting the warmth of his hand chase away the cold that had settled in her soul for so many years.
âJames.â she whispered again, her voice barely audible, âIâve wanted to hate you for so long. Iâve tried, but⊠I canât. I donât want to.â
âYou donât have to.â he whispered back, his lips brushing against her forehead. âYou donât have to be the Queen of Hearts anymore.â
Y/n opened her eyes, looking up at him with tears that she had refused to shed for years. âBut I donât know how to be anything else.â
âYou donât have to do it alone.â James said softly, his thumb gently wiping away a tear as it slipped down her cheek. âWe can figure it out together. You and me, just like it was supposed to be.â
For the first time in what felt like an eternity, Y/n allowed herself to hope. She allowed herself to believe that maybe, just maybe, there was a way out of the darkness she had surrounded herself with. And in that moment, as James wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into his embrace, she let herself believe that love, real true love, might just be enough to melt the ice around her heart.
As they stood there, wrapped in each otherâs arms, the harsh reds and blacks of her dress began to soften, the colors shifting ever so slightly. It was a small change, barely noticeable, but it was enough. It was a start.
âJames.â she whispered, her voice trembling with the weight of her emotions. âI donât want to be the Queen of Hearts anymore.â
âYou donât have to be.â he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. âBe the queen of my heart instead.â
Y/n looked into his eyes, searching for any trace of deceit, but all she found was the boy she had once loved, now a man willing to make amends. Slowly, she nodded, allowing herself to trust him one last time.
And as James leaned in to kiss her, capturing her lips with his own, Y/n felt the last remnants of the ice around her heart begin to melt away. The softened red and black now fully dissapearing into pink and white. The kiss was long overdue, filled with years of regret, longing, and hope. A kiss that spoke of second chances and the possibility of a future where they could both be happy.
When they finally pulled apart, Y/n looked at him, her eyes now filled with warmth and the glimmer of hope. âIâve missed you.â she admitted softly.
âAnd Iâve missed you, love.â James replied, his smile full of genuine affection and relief.
As they stood there, wrapped in each otherâs arms, they knew that the past was behind them. They had both changed, both grown, but the love they once shared was still there, stronger than ever. Together, they walked away from the pain of the past.

Request: Hi, I love your imagines so much that I was wondering if you could do an imagine where Uliana finds out that Hook is dating Ariel's sister and makes him choose the VK group or her by making the reader walk the plank and if hook saves her (which he does) and convinces Uliana that she's nothing like Ariel and is perfect for him. (The other 3 vks already know that they're dating except for Uliana and always help Hook sneak around to see her without Uliana knowing until one day she finds out)

James Hook walked around the grounds of Merlin Academy, his dark brown hair messy yet perfectly styled, a confident smirk playing on his lips. But beneath that confident facade, his thoughts were elsewhere, focused on one person in particular.
You, Y/n, the youngest daughter of King Triton, were waiting for him in the secluded corner of the academy gardens. It was a secret place, known only to a few, where the wildflowers bloomed in brilliant colors and the trees provided a perfect cover from prying eyes. This hidden haven had become one of the many places you would meet, a place where the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of you in a bliss of stolen moments and whispered promises.
James spotted you before you saw him, your vibrant hair catching the sunlight as you idly plucked petals from a daisy. He paused for a moment, just to admire you, the way the sunlight danced across your features, the serene expression on your face as if you had no care in the world. It made his heart swell with a warmth he had never thought possible for someone like him. You were his light, the beacon that guided him through the dark seas of his life.
With a silent grace, he approached, his footsteps nearly soundless on the soft grass, until he was right behind you.
âPrincess.â he whispered in your ear, his voice a velvet caress that sent shivers down your spine.
You jumped slightly, your hand going to your heart as you turned to face him, a smile spreading across your lips. âJames, you scared me.â you said, playfully swatting at his arm.
He chuckled, his arms already slipping around your waist, pulling you flush against him. âCanât help it, love. Youâre just too easy to sneak up on.â
Your laughter was like music to his ears as you rested your head on his chest, reveling in the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. âIf only everyone could see this side of you. Theyâd never believe the fearsome Hook has a soft spot.â
He tilted your chin up, his eyes capturing yours, the mischief that usually danced in them now replaced by something much deeper, much more sincere. âThatâs because this side of me is only for you, darling.â
Your heart fluttered at his words, a warmth spreading through your chest that made you feel like you were floating. You leaned up, your lips meeting his in a kiss that was both sweet and intense, a reflection of the emotions that swirled between you. His hands tightened on your waist, pulling you even closer as if he could never get enough of you, and for a moment, the world ceased to exist, no prying eyes, no judgment, just the two of you, entwined in your own little world.
But as much as you cherished these moments, you both knew they couldnât last forever. Merlin Academy was full of eyes and ears, and there were those who would do anything to tear you apart. After all a royal and a villain simply couldnât be together, that is nkt gow it's supposed to be. The thrill of secrecy was always tinged with the fear of discovery, and yet, it only made your time together all the more precious.
As if sensing the shift in your thoughts, James pulled back slightly, his thumb brushing over your cheek as he gazed down at you with a mix of love and concern. âWhatâs troubling you, love? Youâre too quiet.â
Before you could respond, a soft rustling in the bushes caught your attention. Out of the shadows stepped Morgie, his eyes scanning the area before he spotted the two of you. He was a loyal friend, always looking out for you, even if it meant risking his own neck. With his tousled hair and mischievous grin, Morgie was the perfect accomplice to your secret meetings.
âYou two better wrap it up.â Morgie said, his voice low but urgent. âUlianaâs searching for you.â
James groaned, reluctantly releasing you but keeping one arm around your waist as if he couldnât bear to let you go completely. âCanât she take a break from being such a buzzkill?â
Morgie shrugged, glancing over his shoulder as if expecting Uliana to appear at any moment. âNot when sheâs determined to keep you close, Hook. You know how she is.â
Your smile faded as worry crept into your heart. Uliana had always been a thorn in your side, ever since you first arrived at the academy. She was ruthless, cunning, and had a grudge against your family. It didnât help that James was her first mate, a role that made your relationship all the more dangerous.
âI can handle Uliana.â James said, sensing your unease. He tried to reassure you, but you could see the tension in his jaw, the way his hand clenched at his side. âSheâs all bark and no bite.â
But you werenât so sure. âJust⊠be careful, okay? I donât want you getting hurt because of me.â
James softened at your concern, brushing a strand of hair from your face with a tenderness that belied his fierce reputation. âDonât worry about me, princess. Iâd walk the plank a thousand times if it meant keeping you safe.â
Your smile was small, but genuine, though the unease in your chest remained. You trusted James, but you knew how dangerous Uliana could be. And you had a feeling she wasnât going to give up easily.
Just then, the shadows seemed to grow darker, and a chill breeze swept through the garden. From the corner of your eye, you saw the air shimmer as Hades appeared with a dramatic flair. His blue flame-like hair flickered as he greeted the two of you with an amused smirk.
âWell if it isnât mt favorite lovebirds.â Hades drawled, crossing his arms over his chest. âYou two do know how to pick the worst places for a secret date, donât you?â
âRelax, Hades.â James replied, though there was a note of irritation in his voice. âWe were just leaving.â
Hades chuckled, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous light. âGood thing I found you first. Maleficentâs already weaving a little distraction for Uliana, but it wonât last long. Youâd better make yourselves scarce before she catches wind of your little affair.â
You glanced at James, who nodded slightly. It was time to go, but the thought of parting from him so soon after youâd just found each other again left a hollow ache in your chest. As if reading your thoughts, James leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.
âMeet me tonight.â he whispered against your skin, his breath warm and comforting. âAt the docks. Weâll steal a few hours together, just you and me.â
You nodded, unable to find your voice as you were overwhelmed by the tenderness in his words, the promise of more time together keeping your spirits afloat.
With Morgie, Hades, and Maleficent covering your tracks, you and James managed to slip away from the garden unnoticed. But as you disappeared into the shadows, you couldnât shake the feeling that this fragile happiness was standing on the edge of something dangerous. Uliana was relentless, and you knew it was only a matter of time before she made her move.
-----
That night, as the moon cast a silver glow over the academy grounds, you quietly slipped away from your dormitory. The corridors were silent, the shadows long and dark, but you moved with a purpose, your heart racing in anticipation. Every step you took towards the docks felt like a step closer to a dream, one where it was just you and James, away from the prying eyes of the academy.
The docks were deserted, the water gently lapping against the wooden planks. The air was cool, carrying with it the scent of the sea, a reminder of home. You pulled your cloak tighter around yourself as you scanned the area, your breath catching when you saw him.
James stood at the edge of the dock, his back to you, gazing out at the horizon where the sea met the sky. His tall, lean figure was silhouetted against the moonlight, and for a moment, you simply admired him. He seemed to belong here, in this quiet place, where the only sound was the rhythm of the waves and the beating of your heart.
âJames.â you called softly, and he turned, his face breaking into a smile as he saw you.
Without a word, he closed the distance between you, wrapping you in his arms the moment you were close enough. You melted into his embrace, the world falling away as you buried your face in his chest, breathing in his familiar scent of salt and leather.
âI missed you.â you whispered, your voice barely audible over the gentle sounds of the sea.
âAnd I missed you, princess.â he replied, his voice warm and soothing as he held you close. âEvery moment weâre apart feels like a lifetime.â
You looked up at him, your eyes locking onto his. âThen letâs make the most of the time we have.â
His expression softened, and he leaned down to capture your lips in a tender kiss. It was slow and sweet, a promise of the love that bound you together despite the dangers that lurked in the shadows. Jamesâ hand gently cupped your cheek, his thumb brushing over your skin as if memorizing every detail, every curve, as if this moment was all that mattered.
When he finally pulled away, he didnât go far, resting his forehead against yours. âI wish we didnât have to sneak around like this. I want to be with you all the time, without having to look over my shoulder.â
You sighed, understanding his frustration. âI know, James. But as long as Ulianaâs watching us, we have to be careful. I donât want her to hurt you⊠or us.â
His jaw clenched at the mention of her name, a flicker of anger crossing his features. âShe wonât win, Y/n. I wonât let her come between us.â
âI believe you.â you whispered, wrapping your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. âI just wish there was a way to keep her from interfering.â
James was quiet for a moment, then a mischievous glint appeared in his eyes. âThere might be a way.â
âWhat do you mean?â you asked, curious.
He grinned, the roguish smile that always made your heart skip a beat. âIâve been thinking⊠if we can keep her distracted, give her something else to focus on, we could buy ourselves more time. Hades and Morgie have already agreed to help.â
Your eyes widened in surprise and excitement. âYou really think it could work?â
âWith a little help from Maleficentâs magic, we can keep Uliana running in circles.â he said, his tone filled with confidence. âSheâll be so busy dealing with false leads and wild goose chases that she wonât have time to spy on us.â
A thrill of hope surged through you. The thought of being able to spend more time with James, without constantly looking over your shoulder, was too tempting to resist. âThat sounds⊠perfect.â
James leaned in, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered, âAnd in the meantime, weâll keep meeting in secret, just like this. No one will know where or when, only us.â
The idea of these secret meetings, of stolen kisses under the watchfull eye of the night, sent a shiver of excitement through you. You nodded, unable to contain your smile. âI love it. I love you.â
He pulled back slightly, just enough to look into your eyes. âAnd I love you, darling. More than anything.â
The night passed in a blur of whispered conversations and stolen kisses, the two of you wrapped in each otherâs arms as you sat on the edge of the dock, your feet dangling above the water. The moon watched over you, a silent guardian of your secrets, as you shared your hopes, your fears, and your dreams of a future together, one where you could love each other openly, without fear.
Over the following weeks, the plan was set in motion. Morgie and Hades, along with Maleficentâs and her magic, created a series of distractions that kept Uliana busy. They spread rumors, created illusions, and sent her on wild chases that led nowhere. Each time she thought she was closing in on you and James, she found herself frustrated by some new trick or misdirection.
Meanwhile, you and James continued to meet in secret. Sometimes it was the docks, other times the hidden grotto of the academy, or even the deserted beach beyond the forest. Each meeting was a new adventure, filled with the thrill of secrecy and the joy of being together. You cherished these moments, the way his hand fit perfectly in yours, the way he looked at you as if you were the only person in the world.
One evening, after narrowly escaping detection by Uliana, you found yourselves in the old library, tucked away in a forgotten corner surrounded by dusty books and ancient scrolls. The air was thick with the scent of aged parchment, and the flickering candlelight cast a warm glow over the room.
âI think weâre getting better at this.â you teased, leaning against a shelf as James approached, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
He chuckled, brushing a lock of hair away from your face. âMaybe, but Iâd still rather we didnât have to sneak around at all.â
You reached out, taking his hand in yours. âOne day, we wonât have to. But for now, Iâm just happy to be with you.â
He smiled, his thumb gently caressing the back of your hand. âMe too, love.â
And then he kissed you, slow and deep, the world outside forgotten as you lost yourself in him. Time seemed to stand still in that moment, the only sound the soft rustle of pages as a nearby book caught the breeze from the open window.
You pulled away, breathless and smiling, you couldnât help but feel that maybe, just maybe, things were finally looking up. You had each other, and with the help of your friends, you were outsmarting Uliana at every turn.
The days turned into weeks, and your secret meetings continued, each one more precious than the last. You cherished every stolen moment, every whispered word, knowing that as long as you had James by your side, you could face whatever challenges lay ahead. And as you stood together, hand in hand, looking out at the moonlit sea, you knew that your love was something worth fighting for, something that could weather any storm.
Throughout these weeks, the tension between James and Uliana only grew, casting a shadow over the secret moments you shared with him. The hidden grotto beneath the academy was your favoriteplace to go with him, a place where you could escape the pressures of the outside world and simply be together. The water there always glistened with an ethereal glow, the gentle sound of the waves lapping against the rocks soothing your troubled hearts.
-----
One evening, after most of the students had retired to their dorms, you and James retreated to the grotto. The air was cool, and the moonlight filtering through the cracks in the stone ceiling bathed the cavern in a soft, silvery light. Your tail, shimmering with iridescent scales, dipped into the water as you leaned against James, his arm wrapped securely around you.
But the peace of the moment was shattered by the sound of footsteps echoing through the grotto. You tensed immediately, recognizing the rhythm and weight of those steps. Jamesâs eyes met yours, a mix of fear and resolve in his gaze as you both realized who it was.
Uliana emerged from the shadows, her lips curled into a malicious smile. The moonlight highlighted the sharp angles of her face, giving her an almost otherworldly appearance. âWell, well, what do we have here?â she sneered, her voice dripping with venom. âJames Hook and his little mermaid.â
James instinctively moved in front of you, his hand hovering near the hilt of his sword. âUliana, this doesnât concern you. Leave.â he commanded, his voice steady but filled with underlying tension.
But Uliana wasnât interested in leaving. Her eyes were locked on you, a predatory gleam in them that sent a chill down your spine. âYouâre just like your sister, arenât you?â she hissed. âAlways getting in the way, always thinking you can have everything.â
You straightened, refusing to let her intimidate you. âIâm nothing like Ariel.â you replied, your voice firm. âAnd James isnât yours to control.â
Ulianaâs smile widened, her eyes narrowing with cruel delight. âIs that so? Letâs put that to the test, shall we?â She turned to James, her expression hardening. âYou have a choice, Hook. Stay on my crew as my first mate, or keep playing house with the little princess. But you canât have both.â
The ultimatum hung in the air like a blade, sharp and dangerous. Jamesâs loyalty to his crew had always been a defining part of who he was, but the bond between you had grown stronger with each passing day. The thought of losing him, by being forced apart by Ulianaâs twisted games, was unbearable.
âJamesâŠâ you whispered, your voice trembling as you reached out to him.
He turned to you, his eyes filled with anguish. âIâŠâ
Ulianaâs voice cut through the air like a knife. âIf you wonât choose, then I will. Either she walks the plank, or you do.â Uliana made a wooden plank appear with her magic, at the edge of the grotto right above the stone cliff and dark restless sea.
A cold dread settled over you as you realized the gravity of what she was asking. James was a pirate, bound by the code of the sea, and to defy it would be to betray everything he had ever known. But to agree to her terms would mean leaving you to a fate you werenât sure you could survive.
âDo it, Hook.â Uliana taunted, her voice laced with malice. âShow me where your true loyalty lies.â
Jamesâs eyes were filled with desperation as he looked at you. âPrincess, Iâm so sorry.â he whispered, his voice thick with regret.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you took a deep breath. You knew what you had to do. âJames, I trust you.â you said, your voice steady despite the fear gripping your heart. âBut if Iâm going to walk that plank, I need to do it on my own terms.â
With that, you closed your eyes and concentrated. A tingling sensation spread through your body as you focused on changing your form. Your tail, shimmering with iridescent scales, began to shift. The transformation was always a strange, almost disorienting sensation, but you had done it enough times to control it with precision. Your tail split and morphed, the scales dissapearing and smooth skin taking their place until you were standing on two legs, your mermaid form replaced by your human one.
Jamesâs eyes widened in surprise and admiration as he took in your transformation, but there was no time to dwell on it. You stepped forward, your legs unsteady on the rough stone, but your determination unwavering.
Ulianaâs eyes glittered with a twisted pleasure as she watched you approach the plank. âSo brave, little princess. Letâs see how brave you are when youâre staring down into the depths.â
James grabbed your hand as you stepped onto the plank, his grip strong but trembling. âI love you, Y/N.â he whispered, his voice filled with pain. âPlease, forgive me.â
You squeezed his hand, a silent reassurance that you understood, that you didnât blame him for the impossible situation he was in. âI love you too, James.â you whispered back, your heart pounding in your chest.
The cold wind whipped through the grotto as you stood on the edge of the plank, the dark water below swirling threathingly. You took a deep breath, preparing yourself for what was to come, when suddenly, Jamesâs hand shot out, grabbing your wrist and pulling you back into his arms.
âNo!â Uliana shouted, her eyes wide with rage. âWhat are you doing?!â
James held you tightly, his grip strong as he faced Uliana. âIâm choosing her, Uliana. Iâm choosing love over loyalty.â
Ulianaâs face twisted with fury. âYou fool! Sheâs just like her sister, just like Ariel! Sheâll ruin you, just like her family ruined mine!â
But James shook his head, his voice calm but firm. âSheâs nothing like Ariel. Sheâs brave, kind, and loyal. And Iâd rather face the consequences than lose her.â
For a moment, Uliana looked like she might strike out in anger, but then she seemed to reconsider. She glared at you both before finally turning on her heel and storming out of the grotto, her footsteps echoing in the distance.
The moment she was gone, you collapsed against James, your legs shaking with relief. He held you close, his hand stroking your hair as he whispered soothing words in your ear.
âIâm sorry, darling.â he murmured, his voice filled with regret. âI never wanted to put you through that.â
You looked up at him, your eyes still wet with tears but filled with love. âItâs okay, James. I know you did what you had to. And I love you all the more for it.â
He smiled, the weight of the world lifting from his shoulders as he kissed you deeply, the taste of saltwater and tears mingling with the sweetness of your love.
Meanwhile in the shadows, Morgie, Hades, and Maleficent watched, their expressions a mix of satisfaction and amusement. They had followed Uliana just incase things would get out of hand. However you and James managed yourself just fine. Morgieâs eyes gleamed with a dark, almost predatory interest as he observed the raw emotions playing out before him. Maleficent, ever the queen of darkness, merely watched with a knowing smile, her eyes glinting with a mixture of approval and intrigue. Hades leaned against a wall, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he pulled Maleficent into him.
The three of them had always known that love could be a powerful weapon, and tonight, it had proven to be the most powerful of all. As they faded back into the shadows, leaving you and James alone in the grotto, you knew that this was far from over. The battle had only just begun, but as long as you had each other, you were ready to face whatever came next.

Among the grand halls and ancient towers of Merlin Academy, students learn to master their powers, navigate alliances, and discover who they truly were. It was a world where friendships were forged, rivalries blossomed, and most importantly love found its way even in the most unexpected places.
Y/n, the younger princess of Hearts, was one such student. Her dorm room, tucked away in one of the quieter corners of the academy, was her sanctuary. It was a space filled with different shades of pink, white, and gold decor, a reflection of her royal lineage, yet softened by personal touches that made it uniquely hers. A small heart-shaped window overlooked the lush academy gardens, and her desk was littered with half-finished letters and books of spells.
It was in this room that she often found herself daydreaming about James Hook, the pirate who had stolen her heart. They had been together for nearly a year now, their romance the kind that others whispered about in the halls. Y/n couldn't help but smile at the thought of him, his teasing smirk, the way he always called her nicknames in that irresistible accent of his.
But as much as she loved him, she couldn't deny that their relationship had its challenges, like the time it took for her to get close to his friends. James, Uliana, Morgie, Maleficent and Hades were a tight-knit group, and it had taken some effort for Y/n to break through the guarded exteriors of his friends.
Now, things were different. She got closer to them and had found a close friend in Morgie, who shared her love of adventure and often teased her about how hopelessly in love she was with James. It was all in good fun, but Y/n couldn't help but notice the way James's eyes darkened every time Morgie made one of his jokes.
-----
It had been a long day of classes, and Y/n was sitting on her bed, flipping through her spellbook, while being lost in thought, reminiscing about the moments she had shared with James. Her mind drifted back to the time he had surprised her with a moonlit picnic by the sea, the gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore as he pulled her close, his hook resting lightly on her waist. She remembered how his deep, smooth voice had sent shivers down her spine as he whispered stories of his adventures, his eyes always fixed on hers with that intense gaze that made her feel like the only person in the world.
She smiled to herself, recalling the way his fingers had brushed against hers when he handed her a flower he had found, an almost bashful expression on his face as he confessed it reminded him of her, delicate yet strong. Those quiet moments, where the world seemed to fade away and it was just the two of them, had become the highlight of her days. Every touch, every stolen kiss had streghtend the bond between them, making her feel a warmth she had never known before.
Just as Y/n was about to lose herself in another memory of James, the soft knock at her door snapped her back to the present.
"Come in!" Y/n called, her voice light and carefree as she glanced up from her spellbook. She expected the familiar face of her sister Bridget, her boyfriend James, or maybe Ella, Bridgetâs roommate and close friend. But when the door swung open, it was Morgie who stepped into the room, his mischievous grin already lighting up his face.
"Hey, Y/n," he greeted, his tone as casual as ever, though his eyes sparkled with his usual mischief. He walked into the room with the kind of confidence that only Morgie could pull off, plopping down on the armchair across from her. "Busy with daydreaming about your pirate prince?"
Y/n rolled her eyes playfully, but despite her best efforts, she couldnât stop the smile that tugged at her lips. Just the mention of James was enough to make her heart flutter. "Maybe... Anyways, what's up?"
Morgie stretched out, his long legs draped lazily over the armrest as if he owned the place. "Just thought I'd check in on you, see how the lovebirds are doing. You're practically glowing, you know."
Y/n felt her cheeks warm at his words, her mind immediately flooding with images of James, his intense gaze, the way his voice sent shivers down her spine, the gentle touch of his hand as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "Am I?" she teased, though she couldnât deny the truth in his observation. There was something about James that made her feel alive, more herself than she had ever been. And yet, the depth of her feelings for him made her shy, almost hesitant to speak them aloud, even to someone as familiar as Morgie.
Morgie grinned, clearly sensing her bashfulness. "Yeah, you are. And donât even try to deny it. Itâs written all over your face." He paused, his grin widening. "What about you? Trying to avoid Hadesâs wrath after the prank you pulled last week?"
Morgie laughed, the sound echoing through the room like a melody. "Oh, come on, he deserved it! And besides, I think he's secretly proud of me. But we're not talking about me." he said, shifting the focus back to Y/n. "We're talking about you and James. He's got it bad for you, you know?"
Y/nâs blush deepened, her thoughts once again drifting to James, the way he looked at her like she was the most precious thing in his world, the way his voice softened whenever he spoke her name. "I guess you could say that." she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "We just⊠fit, you know?"
Morgie leaned forward, waggling his eyebrows in exaggerated amusement. "Fit like a hand in a hook, huh?"
Y/n couldnât help but laugh, grabbing a pillow and tossing it at him in mock annoyance. "You're impossible!"
The banter between them flowed easily, filling the room with lightheartedness, and for a moment, Y/n was able to push aside the shyness that always crept in when she thought about her feelings for James. But as they continued to talk, neither of them noticed the door slowly creaking open behind them.
James stood in the doorway, his tall figure framed by the dim light from the hallway. His dark eyes immediately took in the scene before him, Morgie sprawled comfortably in Y/nâs room, making her laugh, making her blush. A sharp pang of something unwelcome twisted in his chest. He knew she loved him, he could see it in the way her eyes softened whenever they were together, in the way her hand lingered in his, as if she never wanted to let go. But seeing Morgie with her, hearing her laugh at his teasing, brought a surge of jealousy he couldnât quite suppress.
It wasnât that he didnât trust her, or even Morgie for that matter. But Y/n meant everything to him, and the mere thought of anyone else making her smile the way he did unsettled him more than he wanted to admit.
-----
Later that evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky turned a deep shade of indigo, James returned to his dorm room. The familiar space he shared with Morgie and Hades felt different tonight, smaller, more suffocating, as if the walls were closing in on him. Normally, their room was a place to rest, a place where they could be themselves, free from the expectations and judgments of the outside world. But tonight, every shadow seemed to loom larger, every creak of the floorboards seemed louder.
Morgie was already there, sprawled out on his bed, lazily flipping through a comic book. He looked up as James entered, immediately sensing the tension in his friend's posture. Jamesâs usual confidence was absent, replaced by a tautness in his shoulders and a brooding intensity in his eyes that Morgie rarely saw.
"Hey, James. Everything alright?" Morgie asked, his tone casual, but his sharp eyes missing nothing. He knew James well enough to recognize when something was eating at him.
James didnât answer right away. He tossed his leather jacket onto a chair, the movement almost aggressive, and sat on the edge of his bed, his back to Morgie. He ran a hand through his unruly hair, a habit that always betrayed his inner conflict. "Just thinking." he muttered, though his voice was tight, strained.
Morgie raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. He had seen James in all sorts of moods, angry, cocky, even vulnerable, but this was different. "About Y/n?" he guessed, a knowing smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. He couldnât resist a little teasing, though he had a feeling this wasnât the time for it.
James shot him a look over his shoulder, one that was sharp enough to cut. Morgieâs smirk faded, and he sat up a little straighter, realizing that whatever was bothering James wasnât something to joke about.
"I saw you two together earlier." James said slowly, his voice measured, as if he was trying to keep it from breaking. "You seem awfully close."
Morgie blinked, taken aback. The implication behind Jamesâs words hit him like a slap to the face. He had known James for a long time, long enough to understand that jealousy wasnât something he succumbed to easily. But the way James was looking at him now, with a mix of hurt and suspicion, made Morgieâs stomach twist. "Whoa, wait a minute. You think⊠you think there's something going on between me and Y/n?"
James didnât respond immediately, which only made the silence between them more oppressive. Morgie felt a surge of frustration, mingled with disbelief. He had grown to view Y/n as a sister, nothing more. The idea that James could think otherwise was almost insulting.
"James, seriously?" Morgieâs voice was laced with exasperation. "Y/nâs like a sister to me, you know that. Besides, sheâs head over heels for you. Anyone with eyes can see that."
James wanted to believe him, truly he did. He knew Y/n cared about him, her eyes lit up whenever they were together, and her touch was always tender, filled with unspoken affection. But the image of Morgie making her laugh, of her blushing at something he said, gnawed at him, a dark cloud of doubt that he couldnât shake. The thought of anyone else, even Morgie, bringing that look to her face, filled him with a possessiveness he didnât know he was capable of.
Instead of responding, James simply stood up, his movements abrupt. He grabbed his jacket, the tension in his body clear, and without another word, stormed out of the dorm room. Morgie called after him, his voice tinged with concern, but James didnât look back.
Before he knew it, James found himself standing in front of Bridget's dorm room, his hand hovering over the door. He was breathing heavily, his heart pounding in his chest. He wasnât sure what he was doing here, but something in him needed answers. Maybe Y/nâs sister might know what was going on, or at least help him make sense of the storm of emotions raging inside him.
He hesitated for a moment, questioning whether he should even be here, but the growing jealousy wouldnât let him walk away. With a deep breath, he knocked on the door, his mind racing with a thousand thoughts of Y/n and what he might learn once the door opened.
After a moment, Bridget opened the door, her warm smile fading slightly as she saw the worry etched on his face.
âJames.â she greeted, stepping aside to let him in. âIs everything alright?â
James hesitated before stepping inside, the room cozy and welcoming, much like its occupants. âI need to talk to you about Y/n.â he said, his voice tense.
Bridget motioned for him to sit down on one of the plush chairs near the window. She sat across from him, her expression filled with concern. âWhatâs on your mind?â
James ran a hand through his dark hair, struggling to find the right words. âItâs about Morgie. Y/nâs been spending a lot of time with him lately, and⊠I canât help but feel like there might be something going on between them.â
Bridget raised an eyebrow, her expression shifting from concern to something more akin to amusement. âYou think Y/n is interested in Morgie?â
James shrugged, his shoulders tense. âI donât know. Itâs just⊠they seem close, and I canât shake the feeling that she might be slipping away from me.â
Bridget sighed, leaning back in her chair. âJames, Y/n loves you. You know that, right?â
âI do.â James replied, his voice softening. âBut what if⊠what if sheâs realizing that Morgie is better for her? Heâs fun, and they get along so well. What if Iâm not enough?â
Bridgetâs expression softened as she leaned forward, her tone gentle. âJames, listen to me. Y/n has always been my little sister, and I know her better than anyone. Sheâs crazy about you. Morgie is just a friend, nothing more. Theyâre comfortable around each other because theyâre friends, but thatâs all there is to it.â
James nodded, though the worry still lingered in his eyes. âI want to believe that, Bridget. I really do. But itâs hard when I see them together, and it feels like they have this connection that maybe⊠I donât.â
Bridget reached out and placed a comforting hand on his arm. âJames, the connection you have with Y/n is special. She chose you, and she chooses you every day. But you need to trust her. Donât let your insecurities ruin something beautiful.â
James let out a long breath, the tension slowly leaving his body. Bridgetâs words were reassuring, and deep down, he knew she was right. âYouâre right. Iâve been a fool.â
Bridget smiled, giving his arm a gentle squeeze. âJust talk to her, James. She loves you, and she deserves to know how youâre feeling. And if you ever need to talk, you know where to find me.â
âThank you, Bridget.â James said sincerely, standing up. âI really appreciate it.â
âAnytime.â Bridget replied with a warm smile. âNow go to her. Iâm sure sheâs wondering why you have not visited her today.â
James hesitated at the door, his hand still on the knob. There was a sense of relief in Bridget's words, but something inside him wasn't completely settled. He turned back to face her, an uncertain look in his eyes.
"Bridget." he began, his voice soft yet urgent, "what if... what if it's not just me? What if there's something I'm missing, something about the future that I don't know?"
Bridget regarded him for a moment, her expression unreadable. "Are you asking if youâre missing a sign or if fate has something else in store for you and Y/n?"
James nodded, struggling to articulate the swirl of emotions within him. "I just feel like I need to know for sure. I can't shake this feeling, and itâs eating me alive."
Bridget sighed and stood up, moving toward a small wooden box on her bookshelf. "You know." she said quietly, "thereâs a way to see the future, or at least get a glimpse of it. But it's not something to be taken lightly."
Jamesâs heart skipped a beat. He had heard rumors about Bridget's abilities, whispers in the corridors about her possessing something... otherworldly. "What do you mean?"
Bridget opened the box, revealing an antique hand mirror with an ornate, golden frame. The glass had a strange, ethereal quality to it, almost as if it were alive, reflecting not just the present but something more.
"This," Bridget said, holding the mirror delicately, "is a looking glass that shows possible futures. Itâs not definitive, what you see is just one of many possibilities, shaped by your actions and choices. But it might give you some clarity."
James stared at the mirror, his curiosity battling with a sense of apprehension. "How does it work?"
Bridget smiled softly, sensing his hesitation. "You need to focus on the question you want answered. The mirror will show you a vision, but remember, itâs only a possibility, not a certainty."
James swallowed hard, his mind racing. Did he really want to see what the future held? What if the vision only made things worse?
But before he could second-guess himself, he found himself reaching for the mirror. Bridget handed it to him gently, her gaze serious. "Be careful, James. What you see might not be what you expect."
James nodded, his grip tightening around the handle of the mirror. He took a deep breath, staring into the glass, focusing on the question that had haunted him for days.
'Will Y/n leave me for Morgie?'
The mirror's surface began to shimmer, swirling with mist that gradually parted to reveal a scene. James watched as the fog cleared, revealing himself and Y/n standing by a lake. They were older, perhaps a few years from now. Y/nâs smile was as bright as ever, her hand intertwined with his. They were laughing, a carefree sound that made James's heart swell.
But then, the scene shifted. Morgie appeared, walking toward them with a grin on his face. Y/nâs smile didnât fade, but James noticed something else, a hint of uncertainty in her eyes as she looked between him and Morgie. She said something to James, and though the vision was silent, he could see the sadness in her expression as she spoke. Jamesâs heart sank as he saw himself pull away slightly, his own face clouded with doubt.
Then, the vision changed again. This time, it was a different future. Y/n was sitting alone by the same lake, her face lined with sorrow. James wasnât there, nor was Morgie. She looked lost, as if searching for something, or someone who wasnât coming back.
Jamesâs breath caught in his throat. The mirrorâs images continued to flicker between the two futures, one where they were together, happy but with underlying tension, and another where Y/n seemed to be mourning a loss, alone.
Finally, the mirror went dark, its surface stilling as if nothing had happened. James blinked, the weight of what he had seen crashing down on him.
Bridget gently took the mirror from his hands, placing it back in its box. "The future isnât set in stone, James." she said softly. "What you saw⊠it could happen, but it doesnât have to. The choices you make now, how you handle your fears and insecurities, theyâll shape what comes next."
James nodded numbly, the images still vivid in his mind. "So, if I donât confront this, if I donât trust herâŠ"
Bridgetâs eyes were filled with understanding. "You could lose her. Not because she wants to be with Morgie, but because your fears might drive a wedge between you. But if you talk to her, if youâre honest about how you feel⊠you can build a future together, one without regret."
James stood there for a moment, letting her words sink in. The future wasnât fixed, he still had a chance to change it. With newfound confidence, he nodded and headed for the door.
"I need to talk to her." he said firmly, more to himself than to Bridget.
"Good." Bridget replied, her smile returning. "Remember James love is about trust, not just passion. Trust her, and sheâll trust you."
As James left Bridgetâs room, he felt a sense of clarity. The path ahead was uncertain, but he knew what he needed to do. Tomorrow, he would speak to Y/n, not as the worried boyfriend, but as someone who trusted her completely, determined to build a future together, one that the looking glass hadnât shown him yet.
-----
That same night, after everyone had gone to bed, James found himself wide awake, his thoughts a relentless swirl of emotions. The dorm room, usually so calming, felt stifling, too quiet, too full of the lingering echoes of his doubts. He couldn't bear it anymore, not when his heart was pulling him elsewhere. Before he knew it, he was out of bed, slipping into his clothes, and heading down the dimly lit corridors of Merlin Academy. His feet moved almost instinctively, guiding him to the one place where he knew he could find peace.
Y/n's dorm.
The moonlight filtered through the tall, arched windows as he walked, casting soft shadows on the stone floors. His heart pounded in his chest, each beat a reminder of the uncertainty he had allowed to make its way in his head, but also of the clarity that had finally started to form. When he reached her door, he hesitated for a moment, his hand hovering just inches from the wood. He could turn back, wait until morning, but the thought of spending another moment in doubt was unbearable. Taking a deep breath, he knocked softly, his knuckles barely brushing the door.
It creaked open after a moment, revealing Y/n, her hair slightly tousled from sleep, eyes blinking in the low light. Concern immediately replaced the drowsiness in her gaze when she saw him standing there.
"James? Whatâs wrong?" she asked, her voice a gentle whisper in the stillness of the night. She stepped aside to let him in, her expression a mixture of worry and affection.
James entered, and as the door clicked shut behind him, the reality of the moment settled over him. He didnât answer right away, instead reaching out to take her hands in his, pulling her close until her body was pressed against his, their heartbeats aligning. He could feel the warmth of her, the steady rhythm of her heart, and it grounded him, anchoring him to the moment.
"Iâve been an idiot, love." he murmured into her hair, his voice thick with emotion, a raw honesty that surprised even him.
Y/n frowned, her hands squeezing his as she pulled back slightly to look up into his eyes, searching for an explanation. "What do you mean?"
James sighed deeply, closing his eyes for a brief moment as if trying to gather the courage to speak. When he opened them again, there was a vulnerability in his gaze that he rarely allowed himself to show. "I let myself get jealous. Over you and Morgie." he confessed, the words tumbling out in a rush. "I thought⊠I thought maybe there was something more between you two, something I couldnât see."
Y/nâs eyes widened in surprise, but then, to his astonishment, she laughed softly. It was a gentle sound, filled with affection and a touch of amusement. She shook her head, her eyes twinkling in the moonlight. "Oh, James. Thereâs nothing between us. Morgieâs just a friend, more like a brother. Youâre the one I love."
Hearing those words, hearing her say it with such certainty, made the tension that had been coiled tight inside him finally unravel. It was as if a great weight had been lifted off his chest, and he could breathe freely for the first time in what felt like days. "I know, darling." he whispered, his voice full of relief and remorse. "I know that now. Iâm sorry I doubted you, even for a moment."
Y/nâs smile softened, and she reached up, her hand cradling his cheek, her thumb brushing against the rough stubble of his jaw. "Itâs okay." she said, her voice a soothing balm to his troubled soul. "Iâm glad you told me. I donât ever want you to feel like you canât talk to me, James. Weâre in this together, always."
Her words, simple yet sincere, struck a chord deep within him. They summarize everything he had ever wanted, someone who saw him, truly saw him, and loved him anyway. Without hesitation, he leaned down, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss. It was not just a kiss of love but one of deep yearning and a declaration of their love. His lips roamed across hers with passion, trailing down to her neck, where he planted soft, possessive kisses that marked her as his.
Y/nâs breath hitched at the intensity of his touch, her cheeks flushing a delicate pink. She felt a shiver run down her spine as his hands traveled down her body, tracing her curves with a gentle but firm insistence. Her initial shyness melted into a warm, accepting glow. There was something undeniably thrilling about the way Jamesâs kisses spoke of his desire and need for her, and she found herself responding with equal passion, her hands threading through his hair, pulling him closer.
As Jamesâs kisses grew more fervent, Y/nâs heart raced, but she felt utterly cherished and adored. She melted against him, allowing him to mark her with his affection, her shyness giving way to a deep, encompassing love. Each kiss, each touch, was a way to prove his devotion and a promise of his unwavering commitment.
When they finally drew apart, their breaths mingling and their foreheads resting together, Jamesâs arms remained securely wrapped around her, as if he were afraid that letting go might shatter the fragile peace they had found.
"Youâre my most important treasure, Y/n." he whispered, his voice full of conviction, each word carrying the weight of his love. "And Iâm never letting you go. Not for anything, not for anyone. Youâre everything to me."
Y/nâs eyes glistened with unshed tears, not of sadness, but of overwhelming love. She cupped his face with both hands now, her touch warm and reassuring. "And youâre mine, James. Always."
They stood there, wrapped in each otherâs embrace, the rest of the world fading into the background. It didnât matter that they were in a place filled with magic and uncertainty, or that the future was still a vast, unknown place. All that mattered was the love they shared, a love that was strong enough to withstand anything life threw at them.
James knew with absolute certainty that he had found his forever home. The visions from the looking glass no longer haunted him. Instead, they served as a reminder of what he had to cherish, what he had to fight for. The future was theirs to create, and he was determined to make it a happy one, filled with laughter, love, and the kind of connection that couldnât be broken by doubt or fear.
Finally, after a moment of shared silence, James took her hand and led her towards her bed. As they settled under the soft covers, the moonlight spilling gently through the window, they felt the promise of their future together in the quiet intimacy of the night.
As James held Y/n close, they drifted into a peaceful sleep, their hearts content and their souls at ease, knowing that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, hand in hand, heart to heart, forever and always.

Descendants James Hook x Reader: A Love So Sweet
Request: Can you write a Hook x fem at Castle Coming? Maybe leading up the Flamingo incident happened and because James and the reader are so in love and they trust her the reader is able to convince Uliana and the others that it was honestly a mistake and that Bridget truly was sorry so they decide not to do the prank, Bridget personally apologizes but definitely a lot of cuteness between Hook and reader. Maybe also add in reader, Maleficent and Uliana getting ready for Castle Coming together and them giving her a pep talk and maybe the guys giving hook a pep talk as well? I apologize if itâs a lot

The day at Merlin Academy started off with a familiar energy, one of mischief, love, and the constant drama that came with being students in a school filled with magic. As usual, you found yourself wrapped up in the latest spectacle: Bridgetâs flamingo cupcakes.
You were by her side, helping to arrange the treats, when James Hook casually walked up, that signature smirk of his dancing on his lips.
âWell, if it isnât my favorite lass.â he said, leaning against the table with an easy confidence. âWhat are you up to, darling?â
You rolled your eyes, used to his flirtatious ways by now. âJust helping Bridget with her cupcakes, James. Trying to keep things from getting too... out of hand.â
James raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. âOut of hand? In this school? Never.â He gave you a wink, which made your heart flutter despite yourself.
Bridget laughed softly, her hands busy arranging the last of the pink feathers on the cupcakes. âThese are supposed to add a little magic, a touch of color to whoever eats one. Nothing too wild.â
âWell, that sounds rather dull.â James teased, picking up a cupcake and eyeing it with mock disappointment. âWhereâs the fun in that?â
You nudged him playfully. âNot everything has to be dangerous, James. Sometimes a little bit of charm goes a long way.â
He chuckled, leaning in a little closer. âYou, Y/n, are all the charm anyone needs.â
Before you could respond, whether with a laugh or another eye roll, Uliana appeared, her eyes fixed on the pink cupcakes with an almost predatory gleam. You watched as she ignored Bridgetâs protests and grabbed every single feather-topped cupcake, stuffing the feathers into her mouth.
âUliana, wait!â Bridget cried out, trying to stop her. âThatâs way too many feathers! It couldââ
But it was already too late. It didn't take long for Uliana to transform into a half flamingo half human. Her skin a bright, almost neon pink, and feathers sprouted in patches from her arms and back.
You bit your lip to keep from laughing, but James had no such restraint. He burst out laughing, doubling over as Uliana flapped her feathered arms in rage.
âThis is your fault!â she squawked at Bridget, who looked horrified but tried to stay calm.
âUliana, I told you! The spell wasnât meant for that many feathers! You werenât supposed toââ
âIâll make you pay for this!â Uliana spat, her voice warping slightly from her new beak-like mouth. She stormed off, Morgie, Hades, and Maleficent not far behind her.
As she disappeared around the corner, you shook your head. âSheâs going to do something stupid, isnât she?â
James, still grinning, slipped an arm around your shoulders. âProbably. But donât worry, darling. Whatever it is, Iâll be here to protect you.â
You shot him a skeptical look, though you couldnât deny the warmth his words brought. âProtect me? From Uliana?â
âFrom anyone.â he replied with a wink, his voice dropping to a low, teasing whisper. âAfter all, Iâve got a reputation to uphold.â he slowly backed away, trailing after Uliana and the others.
------
As the day dragged on, your concern about Uliana's intentions toward Bridget only grew. Uliana wasn't the type to let anything go unpunished, especially when it came to her pride. When you overheard her plotting with her crew to gather in her lair, it confirmed your worst fears: something was going to happen, and it wasnât going to end well for Bridget.
You followed James down the path in the enchanted forest that led to Ulianaâs lair, careful to stay in the shadows. You knew that if they caught you, it wouldnât be just Bridget in trouble, but you couldnât stand by and let them harm her. You had to intervene, even if it meant going up against some of the most feared students in the school.
Inside the lair, the atmosphere was thick with tension and malice. The lair was a reflection of Ulianaâs dark nature, filled with eerie trinkets, ominous spell books, and enchanted artifacts that seemed to whisper as you passed by. Uliana paced in front of a large, sinister cauldron, her eyes gleaming with vengeful intent.
Hades, lounging in a chair that looked more like a throne of bones, watched with a smirk that suggested he found the entire situation amusing.
Maleficent sat on the armrest of Hades chair, her expression calm but her eyes betraying a flicker of interest as she listened to Ulianaâs rant. Morgie, ever the observer, stood nearby with a wicked grin, clearly entertained by the idea of Bridget suffering.
James leaned casually against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, his usual confident demeanor in place. But as Uliana described her plan to curse a cupcake and turn Bridget into an ugly monster, a flash of unease crossed his face.
âDonât you think thatâs a bit... extreme?â James asked, his tone light, almost playful, but with an undercurrent of concern.
Uliana snapped her head towards him, her eyes blazing with fury. âShe made me look ridiculous! I have to get even, James! No one makes a fool out of me and walks away unscathed.â
James raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a smirk. âI get that, Uliana, but turning her into something hideous? Thatâs a bit overboard, even for us.â
Ulianaâs gaze hardened, but before she could retort, her eyes followed Jamesâs line of sight, and she saw you stepping out from the shadows. The room fell silent as you made your presence known, the villainsâ eyes all locking onto you.
âUliana, this is madness.â you said, your voice steady but laced with urgency. âBridget didnât mean to hurt you, it was an accident.â
The surprise on their faces quickly morphed into something more calculating. Ulianaâs expression softened for a brief moment, her anger wavering as she heard your words. But she quickly masked it with a scowl, crossing her arms.
âAnd who are you to tell me whatâs right or wrong, Y/n?â she hissed, though there was less venom in her tone than you expected. âYou donât understand. She humiliated me.â
âI know youâre angry.â you replied, taking a step closer, unafraid of the powerful figures surrounding you. âBut this isnât the answer. Bridget didnât mean to hurt you. She warned you about the feathers, didnât she? She wouldnât intentionally embarrass you.â
Uliana hesitated, her resolve clearly shaken. The room was thick with tension as everyone waited for her response. Even the shadows seemed to hold their breath.
Hades, who had been watching the exchange with a smirk, finally spoke up, his voice dripping with sarcasm but carrying a note of reason. âThe girl makes a valid point, Uliana. Revenge is sweet, but letâs be real, turning her into a monster? Thatâs a bit too permanent. Weâre not here to ruin lives⊠just mess them up a little.â
Maleficent nodded slowly, her gaze shifting to you with a hint of approval. âThereâs a fine line between justice and cruelty. Youâve made your point, Uliana. No need to go beyond that.â
Morgie, always the sly one, added with a smirk, âBesides, whereâs the fun in cursing someone who doesnât deserve it? Bridgetâs harmless, too easy of a target.â
Uliana sighed deeply, the weight of their words and your plea finally breaking through her anger. âFine.â she muttered, her tone less venomous. âBut she owes me for this, big time.â
The tension in the room eased as Ulianaâs rage began to subside. You let out a breath you hadnât realized youâd been holding, relief washing over you. Bridget would be safe, at least for now.
As you turned to leave, James stepped forward, falling into step beside you. His usual playful smirk was back in place, but there was a softness in his eyes that hadnât been there before.
âWell, that was quite the performance, darling.â he drawled, his voice filled with admiration. âDidnât know you had it in you to stand up to the big bad villains.â
You shot him a sideways glance, a small smile tugging at your lips. âSomeone had to talk some sense into her. I couldnât just let Bridget get hurt.â
James chuckled, the sound low and warm as it reverberated through the empty hallway. His hand brushed against yours as you walked, sending a spark of warmth up your arm. âYouâve got a good heart, Y/n. Thatâs a dangerous thing to have in a place like this.â
You looked up at him, catching the sincerity in his eyes despite the teasing tone. âI think I can handle myself.â
Jamesâs smirk softened into something more genuine, his hand gently taking yours as you walked. âI donât doubt that for a second.â he said, his voice lowering to a near whisper. âBut if you ever need a pirate to watch your backâŠâ
You laughed, the tension from before melting away completely as the warmth of his hand anchored you. âIâll keep that in mind.â
You continued walking away from the lair, yet you couldnât help but glance back at the group still standing there, watching you with a mixture of curiosity and respect. Maleficent gave you a subtle nod, a rare acknowledgment from someone as powerful as her. Hades winked, his smirk widening as if to say he knew youâd be meeting again, and Morgie gave you a mock salute, clearly impressed.
And Uliana, well, she might have been angry, but there was a glimmer of something like admiration in her eyes. You had done what few could, stood up to them and won.
-----
As the Castle Coming Ball drew nearer, you tried to push the earlier events out of your mind. But they resurfaced when James approached you again, this time with a question that left you momentarily speechless.
He found you outside the main building, leaning against a tree as you watched students bustle about, excitedly discussing the upcoming ball. When you saw him walking toward you, your heart skipped a beat, a reaction you were getting used to by now.
âY/n.â he called out, that familiar playful tone in his voice. âGot a minute?â
âSure.â you replied, turning to face him fully. âWhatâs up?â
He hesitated, something rare for him, and scratched the back of his neck, a small sign of nervousness youâd never seen before. âI was wondering... Would you go to the Castle Coming Ball with me?â
For a moment, you were sure you hadnât heard him correctly. James Hook, the flirty heartthrob pirate, was asking you to the ball? And not in his usual teasing manner, but with a sincerity that made your heart race.
âAre you serious?â you asked, trying to hide the surprise in your voice.
He grinned, though there was a hint of uncertainty in his eyes. âDead serious, darling. I think we could have a wonderful evening.â
Your mind raced, and you felt your cheeks heat up. âI... Iâd like that, James.â
James stepped a bit closer, his presence both comforting and thrilling at the same time. You could feel the warmth radiating from him, and the scent of the sea, a reminder of his pirate roots, lingered between you.
"Is that a blush I see?" he teased, his eyes glinting with that familiar playful mischief. "Careful, darling. Youâre making it too easy for me."
You rolled your eyes, but the smile on your face betrayed your attempt at nonchalance. "Don't get ahead of yourself, James. I'm just... surprised, thatâs all."
He leaned in slightly, close enough that you could see the light stubble on his jaw and the intensity in his gaze. "Surprised? Why? Haven't I been obvious enough?" His tone was softer now, almost intimate.
You raised an eyebrow, trying to maintain your composure. "Obvious about what?"
He chuckled, a low sound that sent shivers down your spine. "About the fact that Iâve been trying to get your attention for weeks now. Have you really not noticed?"
"I noticed." you admitted, your voice almost a whisper. "I just didnât think you were serious."
Jamesâ expression softened, the teasing glint in his eyes replaced by something more earnest. "Well, I am. Completely serious." He reached out, gently tucking a stray lock of hair behind your ear, his fingers lingering for just a moment longer than necessary. "Iâve been looking forward to this ball for a while, but only because I was hoping I got to show you off on my arm."
The sincerity in his voice melted away any lingering doubts you had. "You really mean it, donât you?" you asked, your heart fluttering.
He nodded, his hand slowly dropping to his side, but not before brushing lightly against yours, sending a spark of electricity through you. "I do. And I promise, weâll have the best time. Iâve even got a few surprises planned."
"Surprises, huh?" you said, trying to sound casual even as your heart raced. "What kind of surprises?"
He gave you a lopsided grin, the mischief returning to his eyes. "Now, if I told you, it wouldnât be a surprise, would it?"
You laughed, shaking your head. "I suppose not."
James stepped back, his smile widening as he took in the sight of you, the playful pirate once again fully in control. "Just make sure you wear something thatâll make me regret every second youâre not in my arms."
Your cheeks flushed again at the implication, but you couldnât help but play along. "Youâve got a lot of confidence, James."
He shrugged, the picture of nonchalance, though you could see the satisfaction in his expression. "Confidence, maybe. But mostly, itâs just because I know what I want."
"And what is that, exactly?" you asked, your voice teasing but curious.
He leaned in close one more time, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered, "You, darling. Itâs always been you."
Before you could respond, he stepped back, flashing you one last roguish grin. "Iâll wait for you at the entrance." And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving you breathless and more excited for the ball than youâd ever thought possible.
-----
The day of the ball, you found yourself surrounded by the girls Uliana, Maleficent, Bridget, and Ella, all of them helping you get ready. It felt like a whirlwind of dresses, makeup, and advice, and you were grateful for every bit of it.
Bridget, who had long since apologized for the whole flamingo incident, was the first to break the silence as she helped you with your hair. âSo, you and James, huh?â
You felt your face heat up. âI guess so. I mean, he asked me, and...â
Ella giggled, adjusting the neckline of your dress. âAnd you said yes. Thatâs huge, Y/n. James doesnât ask just anyone to the ball.â
Uliana smiled slightly, her eyes filled with a warmth you have never seen before. âHe likes you, Y/n. And not just in the way he flirts with everyone. Itâs different with you.â
You tried to push down the nerves fluttering in your chest, but it was hard with all their attention focused on you. âI know he flirts a lot, but this feels...real. I just donât want to mess it up.â
Maleficent, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke, her voice steady and filled with wisdom. âIf thereâs one thing Iâve learned with Hades, itâs that genuine feelings can come from unexpected places. Just be yourself, Y/n. James already cares about you, tonight is just about enjoying that.â
Her words, coming from someone you secretly admired a lot, made you feel a bit more at ease. Maleficent was right, James had always been a flirt, but with you, it felt like there was more beneath the surface. Maybe tonight, youâd finally find out what that was.
Bridget finished with your hair and stepped back, a grin on her face. âThere. Now, if James doesnât lose his mind when he sees you, heâs a fool.â
You looked at your reflection, and for the first time in a long while, you truly felt beautiful. The dress, the makeup, the hair, it all came together perfectly. But what made you glow the most was the excitement in your heart, knowing that tonight, youâd be by Jamesâs side.
Ella placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. âYouâre going to have an amazing time, Y/n. And weâll be right there if you need us.â
You nodded, feeling a mix of anticipation and gratitude. âThanks, guys. I really appreciate all of this.â
The girls exchanged knowing smiles, and Maleficent gave you a final once-over. âRemember, just be yourself. James will fall even harder for you.â
With a final deep breath, you were ready. The night awaited, and so did James.
-----
On the other side of the school, James was having a somewhat less peaceful time getting ready. The usually composed and self-assured pirate found himself fussing over details he normally wouldn't even think twice about. Hades and Morgie had taken it upon themselves to make sure he looked his best, though it was becoming increasingly clear that they were enjoying the process a little too much at his expense.
James stood in front of the mirror, his brow furrowed as he tried to tame a particularly stubborn lock of hair that refused to cooperate. He had gone through this routine countless times before, but tonight felt different, like every detail had to be perfect.
Morgie, lounging against the doorframe, watched with an amused grin. "You know, James, youâre fussing over your hair more than usual.â he teased, his tone light but laced with mischief. âWhatâs the matter? Scared your usual charm wonât cut it tonight?â
James shot him a look, attempting to keep his voice casual. "Is that so? Maybe I just want to look good." he said, though the edge of nervousness in his voice betrayed him.
Hades, sprawled comfortably on a nearby chair, let out a snort of laughter. âYeah, for Y/n. Just admit it, James, youâre actually nervous.â
James paused, his hands stilling as he met Hadesâ knowing gaze in the mirror. He hated how easily his friends could read him, but there was no denying the truth in Hades' words. âIâm not nervous.â he muttered, though even he wasnât convinced by his own denial. âI just want everything to go right tonight.â
Morgieâs grin widened as he pushed off the doorframe, crossing his arms in front of his chest. âYou know, itâs kind of cute seeing you like this. The big, bad pirate actually cares about impressing someone.â
James narrowed his eyes, but his annoyance was half-hearted. He pointed a finger at Morgie, his voice tinged with mock menace. âKeep it up, and Iâll make sure you have an âaccidentâ with the punch bowl in front of your date.â
Morgie held up his hands in mock surrender, though the smirk never left his face. âAlright, alright, James. No need to get all worked up. But seriously, just relax. Y/n likes you for who you are. Donât try too hard, or youâll end up tripping over your own feet.â
James sighed, dropping his hand and turning away from the mirror in frustration. âI know, itâs justâŠâ He trailed off, searching for the right words to explain the whirlwind of emotions running through him. He had never felt this way before, not with anyone. His usual confidence was still there, but it was layered with something deeper, something more vulnerable. âSheâs different.â he finally admitted, his voice quieter now. âShe makes me want to hook everyone that even glances at her in the wrong way.â
The room fell silent for a moment, and the playful teasing in Morgieâs expression softened into something more genuine. âThatâs how you know itâs real, James. When itâs not just about winning someone over, itâs about keeping them by your side. And from what Iâve seen, Y/n feels the same way about you.â
James nodded, letting Morgieâs words sink in. Heâd always been a flirt, charming his way through life without ever taking anything too seriously. But with you, it was different. You werenât just another conquest, another notch on his belt. You were someone he genuinely cared about, someone he wanted to protect and cherish. And that scared him, in the best possible way.
âAlright, letâs do this,â James finally said, the weight of the moment settling in his chest as he grabbed his jacket and slipped it on. The fabric was rich and dark, the deep red color matching his usual aesthetic. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, taking a moment to assess the final result. He looked good, better than good, really. But more importantly, he felt ready.
Hades, always the supportive one despite his laid-back demeanor, clapped him on the back as they headed for the door. âRemember, just be yourself, James. Y/n already likes you for who you are. And if you need any help, you know where to find me.â
âSame goes for me.â Morgie added, his smirk back in place. âThough if you mess it up, Iâll be the first to laugh.â
James rolled his eyes, though the small smile tugging at his lips betrayed his appreciation for their support. With friends like these, he knew he was ready for whatever the night had in store. He might be stepping into the unknown, but he wasnât doing it alone. And with you waiting for him, he knew that tonight had the potential to be something truly special.
As they made their way down the corridors towards the entrance, James felt his usual confidence returning in full force. But beneath it all, there was an undercurrent of something new, hope, excitement, and a touch of nervousness that only you could inspire. He was ready to face the night, and more than that, he was ready to face it with you.
-----
The Castle Coming Ball was a vision straight out of a fairytale. The grand hall had been transformed into a stunning scene of shimmering lights and elegant decorations that draped the space in a golden glow. Chandeliers glittered above, their crystals catching the light and casting delicate rainbows across the room. Students from every corner of the school mingled together, their differences forgotten for one night as they laughed and danced, swept up in the enchantment of the evening.
But amidst all the grandeur, your focus was entirely on the figure waiting by the grand entrance. James stood there, looking every bit the fairytale prince in his tailored jacket, the deep red accents matching the dress you now wore. His signature confident stance was as unmistakable as ever, but when his eyes found yours, the usual smirk softened into something warmer, more genuine.
As you walked towards him, your nerves fluttered like the butterflies in your stomach, but the tenderness in his gaze melted them away. The moment you reached him, he stepped forward, his hand finding yours. With a charming, almost reverent touch, he brought your hand to his lips, placing a light kiss on the back of it, his eyes never leaving yours.
James took in the sight of you, his eyes widened slightly, and a slow, appreciative smile spread across his lips. His gaze traveled from the hem of your dress to the intricate details at your neckline, and finally back to your eyes, a spark of recognition flashing in his expression.
âWell, lass.â he murmured, his voice low and smooth like velvet, âDonât you look ravishing tonight.â
A blush bloomed across your cheeks, and you couldnât help but laugh softly, a bit shy under the intensity of his gaze. âYouâre not looking too bad yourself, Hook.â
Jamesâs fingers brushed lightly against the fabric of your dress, the same deep red as the jacket of his suit. His touch was soft, reverent, as if he was marveling at how perfectly you two fit together. âYou have no idea how much I love this.â he said, his voice low and filled with emotion. âItâs like weâre two parts of the same whole.â
His words sent a shiver down your spine, and you found yourself lost in the intensity of his gaze. For a moment, the noise of the ball, the laughter, and the music all faded into the background, leaving only the two of you standing in the soft glow of the chandeliers.
James took a step closer, his hand slipping around your waist to draw you near. The proximity made your heart race, and you could feel the warmth of his body through the delicate fabric of your dress. He leaned in, his breath warm against your ear. âI had some surprises planned for tonight.â he whispered, his tone laced with the mischievous charm that you had come to adore, âbut I think you mightâve just surprised me first.â
You laughed softly, the sound blending with the music around you. âI hope theyâre good surprises.â
He pulled back slightly to look into your eyes, his thumb brushing along your cheek. âThe best kind.â he said with a grin, his eyes twinkling with excitement. âBut youâll have to be patient, darling. Iâve got a few tricks up my sleeve.â
Before you could respond, James took your hand and guided you onto the dance floor, the music swelling as you moved together. His hand rested gently on your waist, while the other held yours with a confidence that made you feel like you were the only two people in the room.
As you swayed together to the rhythm of the music, James couldnât seem to take his eyes off you. His gaze was filled with admiration and something deeper, something that made your heart flutter every time his eyes met yours. âYou know.â he said softly, his voice barely audible over the music, âIâve danced with a lot of girls, but none of them ever matched me like this, like you.â
The sincerity in his words made your heart swell. You tightened your grip on his hand, leaning into the warmth of his body. âYouâre the one who makes it perfect, James.â
He smiled, his eyes softening with affection. âIâve always thought I was good at taking peoples breaths away, but you⊠darling youâve completely taken mine.â
The dance continued, the world around you spinning in a blur of lights and colors. James led you effortlessly across the floor, his movements graceful and sure, as if he was born to dance with you. Every turn, every step, brought you closer together, until there was no space left between you, only the overwhelming connection that had been growing since the moment you first met.
For a moment, the world outside of your small bubble ceased to exist. The dance floor spun around you, but all you could focus on was the way James held you, the way he looked at you like you were the only person in the room. The music, the lights, the other students, it all became a blur, and there was only him.
As the song drew to a close, James slowed your movements, his eyes never leaving yours. He leaned in slightly, his breath warm against your cheek. âY/n, I...â
You held your breath, waiting for him to finish, but instead of words, he let his actions speak. He closed the distance between you, his lips brushing softly against yours in a kiss that was gentle, tender, and filled with all the unspoken emotions that had been building between you.
The kiss was brief, a promise more than a statement, but it was enough to send your heart racing. When he pulled back, his forehead resting lightly against yours, you could see the affection in his eyes, the sincerity in his expression. âIâve wanted to do that for a while,â he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
A smile broke across your face, your heart so full it felt like it might burst. âThen do it again.â
James grinned, that playful spark returning to his eyes, and without needing to be told twice, he leaned in again. This time, the kiss was deeper, more passionate. It was a kiss that spoke of all the things you both felt but hadnât yet voiced, a kiss that promised a future filled with more moments like this.
As you kissed, the room seemed to fall away completely, leaving just the two of you in a world of your own. When you finally broke apart, breathless and flushed, James didnât move far, his hand still on your waist, his forehead resting against yours. âYouâre incredible, you know that?â he murmured, his voice filled with admiration.
Before you could respond, he took a small step back and reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out a small, intricately wrapped box. He handed it to you with a flourish, his grin widening as he watched your reaction.
You took the box, your fingers trembling slightly as you unwrapped it. Inside was a delicate silver necklace, the pendant a beautiful ruby that matched the color of your dress perfectly. It caught the light, shimmering with a warmth that mirrored the emotions in Jamesâs eyes.
âI saw this.â he said, his voice soft but filled with emotion, âand I knew it had to be yours. Itâs just as beautiful and unique as you are.â
Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked at the necklace, overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of his gift. âJames, itâs⊠itâs perfect. Thank you.â
He stepped closer, his hand cupping your cheek as he leaned in to kiss you gently on the forehead. âAnything for you, darling.â he whispered. âYou mean more to me than youâll ever know.â
As he fastened the necklace around your neck, his fingers brushed against your skin, sending a shiver down your spine. When he was done, he stepped back to admire his work, his eyes filled with pride and affection. âIt looks perfect on you.â he said, his voice warm.
You touched the pendant, feeling the cool metal against your skin, and smiled up at him. âI donât know how you keep making me feel so giddy, James, but Iâm not complaining.â
He chuckled, pulling you back into his arms for another dance. âIâll always be by your side giving you everything you want and more, Y/n. Thatâs a promise.â
As you continued to dance, lost in each otherâs company, you noticed Maleficent and Hades watching from a distance. They were standing together, their expressions soft and filled with pride. Hades gently nudged Maleficent with a grin. âLooks like Hook finally figured it out.â
Maleficent smiled, her eyes warm as she watched the two of you. âItâs about time. Theyâre perfect together.â
Uliana and Morgie, who had been observing the scene as well, exchanged a knowing look. Morgie smirked, nudging Uliana playfully. âTold you sheâd be the one to tame him.â
Uliana chuckled, nodding in agreement. âAnd it looks like heâs finally found someone worth changing for.â
Ella, who had been watching quietly, smiled softly, her heart swelling with happiness for you. âTheyâre good for each other.â she said softly. Bridget, ever the romantic, had a dreamy look in her eyes as she finished Ella's statement. âYou can see it in the way they look at each other.â
While the night wore on, you and James stayed close, your hearts beating in sync as you danced and laughed together. The world around you faded into the background, leaving only the two of you, wrapped up in the magic of the moment.
The Castle Coming Ball was everything you had dreamed it would be and more, but the true magic of the night was the boy standing in front of you, eyes filled with love for you.

Descendants Harry Hook x Reader: Spots Of Love
Request: Hi hi! Crazy idea, what if it's a Harry Hook x Reader after D3? Either like in Auradon Prep or College. And the reader can be a Radcliffe from One Hundred and One Dalmatians. Maybe she runs a pet therapy program or helps out Carlos with his Vet career or rescue shelter for abused and abandoned animals (and children) and runs into Harry? Would love to see a platonic relationship with Carlos and Jane! (If the others need to be included, I would not mind at all!)

Any actions or behaviours portrayed by the characters may differ from reality and cannot be connected to any actual person. This work is purely fictional and intended for entertainment purposes only.
The gentle hum of life filled the cozy, sunlit shelter nestled at the edge of Auradon University. Y/n Radcliff was focused on organizing the supplies, her hands methodically placing items in their designated spots, when a soft bark caught her attention. She turned to see her two beloved Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, named after her parents' first dogs, playfully nipping at each other in their designated corner. Their black and white spots blended with the patches of sunlight streaming through the window, creating a picturesque scene that filled Y/n with warmth. It was moments like these that reminded her why she loved this work so much; rescuing and caring for animals wasnât just a job, it was her passion.
As she watched Pongo and Perdita, her thoughts drifted to the back room where Carlos and Jane were hard at work. The shelter had become more than just a project for them, it was a sanctuary, a place where they could all pour their love for animals into something meaningful. Y/n couldnât help but smile as she heard their soft voices mingling with the occasional meow from the kittens they were tending to.
Curious about how they were doing, Y/n made her way to the back room. She found Carlos holding a small kitten gently in his hands, his face the picture of concentration as Jane prepared the syringe for the vaccination.
âJust a little pinch, sweetie.â Jane cooed to the kitten, her voice soothing and calm. She glanced up at Carlos with a smile, her eyes full of warmth. âReady?â
Carlos nodded, his thumb brushing lightly over the kittenâs fur. âReady.â he confirmed, his voice soft. âYouâre doing great, little one. Just a second more.â
Y/n leaned against the doorway, watching the two of them work together in perfect harmony. Jane gave the shot with practiced ease, and Carlos immediately brought the kitten close, whispering reassurances as the tiny creature gave a small, startled meow.Â
âThere we go, all done.â Jane said, capping the syringe and giving Carlos a playful nudge. âI think youâve got the magic touch with these little ones.â
Carlos chuckled, still cradling the kitten. âOnly because I have the best partner.â he replied, his eyes sparkling as he looked at her.
Y/n couldnât help but smile at the exchange. It was these small, tender moments between Carlos and Jane that made her heart swell with affection for them. They were so in tune with each other, their movements synchronized as if they were a single unit. The way they worked together, so naturally, so effortlessly, was something Y/n deeply admired.
She cleared her throat softly, making her presence known. âYou two make quite the team.â she commented with a smile, stepping into the room.
Carlos looked up, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. âHey, Y/n. Weâre just finishing up with these kittens.â
Jane turned, her face lighting up when she saw Y/n. âOh, Y/n! Come look at this little one, sheâs so brave.â she said, holding out a tiny, gray tabby kitten that had just received her vaccination.
Y/n walked over, gently stroking the kittenâs soft fur. âSheâs adorable.â she said, her voice full of affection. âAnd you two⊠youâre amazing with them. Honestly, itâs like you were made for this.â
Carlos laughed softly, his cheeks tinged with a slight blush. âThanks, Y/n. I guess we just really love what we do.â
âPlus, it helps to have someone by your side who knows exactly what youâre thinking.â Jane added, her eyes meeting Carlosâs in a gaze that was filled with quiet understanding.
Y/n watched the way they looked at each other, the subtle exchange of warmth and love that passed between them. It was so natural, so easy, that it made her heart ache in the best possible way. She admired how far Carlos had come since his days on the Isle. He was so different from his mother, Cruella de Vil. Where Cruella had been cruel and self-absorbed, Carlos was gentle, kind, and completely devoted to the animals and his dog Dude. And Jane, sweet, supportive Jane, was the perfect match for him. They balanced each other out in a way that Y/n found beautiful.
âYou two are really something special, you know that?â Y/n said softly, her gaze warm as she looked between them.
Jane blushed, her hand reaching out to squeeze Carlosâs. âWe just⊠care about each other, I guess. And about what weâre doing here.â
Carlos nodded, his thumb rubbing small circles on the back of Janeâs hand. âYeah. Itâs easy when youâre with someone who gets it, who understands why this is so important.â
Y/n felt a pang of admiration mixed with a touch of longing. Watching them made her realize how much she craved that kind of connection with someone, someone who understood her, who shared her passions, who could make the world feel like a better place just by being in it. She was happy for Carlos and Jane, truly, but she couldnât help but wonder when she would find that kind of love for herself.
Still, she pushed those thoughts aside and smiled brightly at them. âWell, Iâm glad you guys have each other. The shelter wouldnât be the same without you two.â
Carlos grinned, his arm slipping around your shoulder. âAnd it wouldnât be the same without you, Y/n. We make a pretty great team, donât we?â
Jane nodded, walking up to your other side, her eyes twinkling. âThe best team.â
As Y/n continued her work, the familiar sound of the chime echoed through the room, catching Carlos and Jane's attention. Their faces lit up immediately, a warm smile spreading across their lips as they recognized the figure stepping inside. Y/n looked up from her spot behind the counter, curious about who had caused such a reaction in her friends.Â
Y/n felt her heart swell with affection for her friends. âYeah.â she agreed, her voice soft and full of warmth. âThe best team.â
Before Y/n could ask, she saw him, the notorious pirate with the unforgettable charm, Harry Hook. His presence was undeniable, a mix of confidence and something more, something that had changed since the days on the Isle of the Lost. He still had that devilish grin, that mischievous glint in his ocean-blue eyes, but there was a new gentleness to him, a softness that Y/n hadnât expected. Or maybe it was just the way he carefully carried a basket filled with tiny, wriggling Dalmatian puppies that made him look less like a pirate and more like a savior.
Carlos and Jane exchanged excited glances before they both greeted Harry with warm smiles. âHarry!â Jane exclaimed, moving forward to greet him. âItâs so good to see you!â
Carlos grinned, his eyes widening as he noticed the basket. âAnd youâve brought company, I see.â
Y/n stood back for a moment, observing the scene with a growing curiosity. She had heard plenty about Harry Hook, stories that painted him as charismatic, daring, and a bit of a rogue. Tales of his adventures on the Isle, his infamous reputation, and his unyielding loyalty to his crew. But seeing him here, in her shelter, cradling a basket of vulnerable little puppies, was something she hadnât expected.
Her heart gave a small flutter, surprising her. She wasnât one to easily get flustered, but something about this moment, about seeing Harry in this new light, sent a warm, unfamiliar sensation through her.
Harryâs eyes scanned the room, taking in the cozy, sunlit space filled with the sounds of animals and the warmth of friendship. When his gaze landed on Y/n, his smile faltered for a split second, surprise flickering in his eyes. But then his grin returned, softer this time, as he turned to Carlos and Jane.
âAnd who might this beautiful lass be?â Harry asked, his voice carrying that familiar, smooth edge that was both teasing and charming.
Jane, still grinning, nudged Y/n forward playfully. âHarry, this is Y/n Radcliff. She and Carlos run this shelter together.â
Y/n felt her cheeks warm under his gaze, a blush creeping up her neck. There was something about the way he looked at her, with that mixture of curiosity and admiration, that made her heart skip a beat. She managed a small smile, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear to steady herself. âNice to meet you, Harry.â she said, hoping her voice sounded more confident than she felt.
Harryâs grin widened, and he stepped closer, taking her hand in his. His touch was surprisingly gentle, and when he lifted her hand to his lips, pressing a light kiss on her knuckles, her breath hitched slightly. âThe pleasure is all mine,â he replied, his voice smooth and rich, carrying just the right amount of playful charm.
Y/nâs mind raced, trying to process the unexpected spark that ignited at his touch. There was a connection there, something she hadnât anticipated but couldnât deny. She quickly glanced at the basket he was holding, needing a distraction. Her eyes softened as she noticed the puppies wriggling and yipping quietly, their tiny bodies nestled together.
âAre those...?â she began, her voice trailing off as she looked up at Harry.
âDalmatians.â Harry finished for her with a nod. His tone shifted, becoming more earnest. âFound this nest in an abandoned alleyway. Thought they could use a bit of love and care.â
Y/nâs heart swelled with affection, not just for the puppies, but for the man who had brought them here. There was something incredibly endearing about seeing someone like Harry, with his rough edges and pirate ways, showing such tenderness and concern for these little creatures. âYouâve come to the right place.â she said warmly, her smile genuine as she took the basket from him.Â
As she placed the basket on the ground, Pongo and Perdita immediately came over to investigate, their noses twitching with curiosity. Perdita, who had never been able to have puppies of her own, was the first to nuzzle the tiny pups, her motherly instincts kicking in almost instantly. She gently nudged them with her nose, licking their tiny heads as if they were her own. Pongo followed suit, pressing close to Perditaâs side, as if to reassure her. Within moments, the two Dalmatians had laid down beside the basket, the puppies nestled between them, forming a heartwarming little family.
The scene was so touching that Y/n couldnât help but smile. âLooks like I have twelve dogs now.â she said with a laugh, her eyes twinkling as she looked at the happy little family.
Harry chuckled, his gaze lingering on Y/n with a new intensity. There was admiration in his eyes, but also something more, something that made Y/nâs heart flutter all over again. âWell, maybe I could help out, if you ever need an extra hand.â he offered, his voice carrying a hint of hopefulness, as if he wanted any excuse to stay close to her.
Y/n felt the warmth spread through her chest, her heart fluttering once more. She met his gaze, trying to keep her voice steady despite the butterflies dancing in her stomach. âThat would be great.â she said softly, her smile growing. âThe shelter could always use more help.â
From that moment on, Harry became a regular visitor at the shelter. Every morning, just as the sun was rising and casting a golden glow over Auradon, Y/n would find Harry at the entrance, leaning against the doorframe with that signature grin of his. At first, heâd come by to check on the puppies or lend a hand during feeding time, but it soon became clear that his real reason for being there was Y/n.Â
For a moment, they simply stood there, holding each otherâs gaze, an unspoken connection forming between them. It was as if the world around them faded, leaving just the two of them, the shared warmth of their smiles, and the new beginnings that were quietly taking root.Â
The two of them grew closer with each passing day, their conversations flowing as easily as the gentle breeze that rustled through the shelter's garden. They would talk about everything and nothing, Harry would captivate her with tales from the Isle, each one more outrageous and entertaining than the last, while Y/n would share stories from her childhood, recounting the adventures she had with her parentsâ Dalmatians and her dreams of rescuing animals. The more they talked, the more Y/n found herself drawn to him, enchanted by his wit, his charm, and the unexpected kindness that lay beneath his roguish exterior.
Carlos and Jane couldnât help but notice the growing connection between Y/n and Harry. During the quiet moments at the shelter, Carlos would nudge Jane with a knowing smile as they watched the two of them together. Jane, ever the romantic, would grin back, pleased to see her friend so happy.
One particularly busy afternoon, after a long day of tending to the animals and organizing the shelter, Y/n and Harry found themselves sitting on the floor of the playroom. The once-tiny Dalmatian puppies had grown into lively bundles of energy, their spots more defined and their personalities shining through. They darted around the room, chasing after toys and playfully wrestling with each other, their joyous barks filling the air. Pongo and Perdita, ever the doting parents, watched over them with a mix of pride and protectiveness.
As Y/n and Harry sat side by side, the warmth between them was noticeable. Y/n felt a sense of contentment that she hadnât felt in a long time, simply being in Harryâs presence. The two of them laughed as a particularly feisty puppy tried to drag a plush toy twice its size across the room, and Y/n couldnât help but notice how Harryâs eyes sparkled with amusement, a boyish charm that made her heart skip a beat.
But it wasnât just Y/n who noticed the connection between them. Perdita, always the observant one, had been watching them closely for days. There was a knowing glint in her eyes as she looked from Y/n to Harry, as if she understood something that the two humans hadnât fully realized yet.Â
Harry and Y/n were about to leave the room to get some food for the dogs. Before Y/n could take a step towards the door, Perdita suddenly leaped up, placing her front paws on Y/nâs back with a gentle but firm nudge. At that exact moment, Pongo, as if in perfect sync with his mate, did the same to Harry. The combined force of the two dogs pushed Y/n and Harry toward each other, causing them to stumble.Â
And then it happened, their lips met in a soft, unexpected kiss. For a moment, everything else faded away. The playful yips of the puppies, the warmth of the afternoon sun, the distant sounds of Auradon, it all disappeared, leaving only the two of them, caught in that brief but electrifying moment.
Y/nâs heart raced as the kiss deepened, slow and tender, each second feeling like an eternity. She could feel Harryâs warmth, the softness of his lips, the gentle way his hand found its way to her waist. And in that instant, she knew that this wasnât just a fleeting moment, it was something more, something they had both been waiting for without even realizing it.
When they finally pulled away, Y/nâs breath was unsteady, her heart pounding in her chest. She found herself looking into Harryâs eyes, which were filled with a mixture of surprise and something deeper, something that made her heart flutter all over again.Â
âWell.â Harry whispered, his voice low and slightly breathless, âI guess your dogs have better sense than we do.â
Y/n laughed softly, the sound tinged with both amusement and affection. âI think youâre right.â she replied, her voice barely above a whisper, her face still inches from his. There was a softness in her gaze as she looked at him, a warmth that mirrored what she felt inside.
Harryâs smile grew, the playful glint returning to his eyes as he leaned in again. This time, the kiss was more confident, more certain, a promise of what was to come. Y/n melted into it, her heart swelling with emotions she hadnât expected to find but couldnât deny.
As they kissed, Carlos and Jane peeked around the corner, having witnessed the whole thing. Janeâs eyes sparkled with happiness, and she whispered excitedly to Carlos, âI knew it! Theyâre perfect for each other.â
Carlos grinned, nodding in agreement. âAbout time, too. I was starting to think weâd have to push them together ourselves.â
When Y/n and Harry finally broke apart, the world seemed a little brighter, a little more vivid. They both knew that something had changed, that their relationship had shifted into something more meaningful. From that day on, Harry wasnât just a friend visiting the shelter, he was Y/nâs partner, in every sense of the word.
