Rainy Dayz
Rainy days forcing us to rest
Forcing us to take time off, away from the crag
Rainy days
Allowing our muscles to recover
Giving us time to stretch
Eat
And hydrate
Thank you rain.
Sent my first project today, trying hard feels so good
Is it about waiting for the inspiration to find you, or finding inspiration in the mundane?
Trying to climb hard, rest hard, eat well, sleep better. Every day I wake up exhausted. Like I can hardly find the energy to move, but I have to because it’s too hot in the truck to stay in bed.
How do I get more rest?
“You haven’t seen the best of me. I’m still working on my masterpiece.”
— Jessie J., Masterpiece (via music-and-quotes)
And one day, he became my alone time.
I found a pass time where “trying too hard” isn’t a thing
Can I consider myself a writer, even though I hate the things that appear on the page?
Can I consider myself a photographer if I hate the photos I take?

“Close the door. Write with no one looking over your shoulder. Don’t try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It’s the one and only thing you have to offer.”
— Barbara Kingsolver (via quotemadness)
