WIDE GRIN SPREADS ACROSS THE YOUNG GIRL’S LIPS. fingers tug at her older brother’s sleeve, eyes bright as can be. little nell looks up to her oldest brother. thinks that he is so cool ! that he holds the entire world in his hands. it would make sense that she wants to hang out with him. even if sometimes she is that annoying kid sister. “ stevie ! ” another tug, followed by bottom lip jutting outwards. “ can you please, please, please have a tea party with me in my toy room? i have it all set up. and mom let me use real tea ! ”

he the hero — the knight in shining armor , that even for a tea party , would come to the rescue ! it was his job as her big brother , after all , to indulge her even in activities that stevie would otherwise , never be caught doing . he was too old , too ‘uffisticated’ for things like held up pinkies and tiny little ceramic cups . but when nell had that look on her face , it was hard to say no . impossible really , for as he stands up from the breakfast table , bowl of cereal left abandoned , he smiles a crooked smile that embodies sunlight itself , as at it’s left most corner stray beams of light practically shine . “ real tea , huh ? well ... i guess if we’re having real tea , then i’ll go . “
