My latmwd fic requests are open - i don’t have anything better to do with my life

- At the moment, I’m not accepting requests that are explicitly sexual. I’m not against erotic literature in any way, I just don’t know how to write it.

- I don’t consent to anything i make being used for generative AI in any way. I AM against generative AI.

- I’m also not accepting requests that are hateful towards a group of people. I will not purposefully write anything that is homophobic, transphobic, racist, ableist, xenophobic etc. I am against those things for obvious reasons.

- I’m only accepting requests related to latmwd. Crossovers are okay!

- Please only make fic requests if you’re 16+ (as the game is rated 16+) and please only make x reader requests if you’re an adult. I have nothing against people who are younger than 16! It’s just that i’m not a children’s book author or YA author and I have absolutely no idea how to write in a way that is appropriate for people in this age group.

As long as you keep these things in mind, feel free to request whatever you want. I don’t care how strange the idea might seem to you, I can probably write it. I can’t guarantee that it will be good, but I can guarantee that it will exist. It might take a while for me to finish writing it because I procrastinate way too much.

I recommend reading the update itself, but to summarize, the devs are intending to keep working on the game. But they’re not sure when the game will be released, since one of the devs is currently in the process of recovering from a medical emergency.

I love how Setteth in the demo just seems like a stereotypical nerd who happens to be an alien. And then when you play the actual game he’s implied to actually be a crazy alien scientist who is trying to travel through time, even through it’s forbidden and incredibly dangerous. Like yes please be a stuttering blushing mess while putting me in danger

I’m sorry for making my silly little side blog where I obsess over latmwd serious all of a sudden. The last thing I want is to make this topic seem less serious than it actually is, but this is what my life is like right now. I would want nothing more than to be able to spend all of my free time playing cozy sci-fi games about fictional immigration, but the truth is, I can’t.

I’m from a west asian immigrant family and I live in Europe. There are many people that don’t want me to be here. Please, if you support fictional immigrants, like the entire latmwd cast, don’t turn your back on real immigrants. If you live in a democratic country, please don’t vote for openly xenophobic, racist or otherwise bigoted politicians. Make sure you get your information about what different politicians want from reliable sources. Don’t just take an online test and vote for whichever party you get (yes, I actually know someone who did this once, years ago).

Don’t say “well YOU deserve rights, because you’re not an illegal immigrant, you’re not a criminal, and you’re not a drug addict”. Everyone deserves rights. Yes, everyone, including people who are illegal immigrants, criminals, and/or drug addicts. I can’t speak out on every single issue, because that would be impossible, but if you think I support your bigoted politics, I don’t, and if I somehow do, that’s because i’m misinformed and I shouldn’t be doing that.

I hate that I have to say this, but I don’t support wars or genocides. Which should be obvious, because why the hell would anyone ever do that? But people do! People do and it makes no sense! What the fuck is wrong with the world? Why are there humans alive today that want civilians to die? Why are there humans alive today that want to send lgbtq+ immigrants back to countries where they’ll end up in prison or killed? What the fuck are we doing? Can someone please explain to me what the point of it all is? Why the hell did I need to STAND IN THE FUCKING RAIN FOR TWO HOURS at a protest while ACTUAL NEONAZIS WERE STANDING ACROSS THE STREET YELLING WEIRD NAZI BULLSHIT AT US just because I don’t want people to be deported? My hands were too tired to hold up my sign and I have never been very good at chanting and I live in a world where “no human is illegal” is a sentence that needs to be chanted and that’s messed up as fuck. It should be obvious that all immigrants, illegal or otherwise, deserves safety.

I am so tired. I am so tired all the time. Please. I am not your enemy. I am not here to replace you. I just want to exist. Please.

Exam season is over for me as of today! That means that it’s time to:

- Write latmwd fanfiction (If you’ve requested latmwd fanfiction, I am working on it! I haven’t forgotten about you! I have started writing it, i just haven’t finished writing it!)

- Constantly check if there’s a new latmwd kickstarter update!

- Play the first week of latmwd again!

- Feel powerless to change the world while signing petitions and worrying about when my rights might be taken away

hiiii! saw that you’re taking requests, so I was gonna ask for your relationship headcanons with the cast of latmwd! anything you want, really, sfw alphabet/general headcanons/etc.!

I don’t have any experience with the tumblr headcanon writing situation, but i tried.

Aedar- When you've been cooking for others all day and get too tired to cook for yourself, Adear makes dinner for you. Sometimes it's a dish from his own culture, but he's also learned a lot of recipes from the helios system.

Ka'el- Whenever you mention that you miss your family, Ka'el offers to give you a ride home. After a while, you realize that she's serious. You often wonder if she misses her own family a lot when she's not with them.

La'ro - La'ro doesn't want to serve you alcoholic drinks when you're sad, because he knows how you react to alcohol and that it would only make you feel worse. Before you've even had the chance to order, he reccomends you a mocktail that he hasn't made for you yet. He keeps bragging about how good is mocktails are, and how they're so much better than any drink you could serve at the milky way diner.

Roswell- Roswell alway carries around needles, duct tape, screwdrivers, and so on. The moment something breaks, they're ready to fix it for you, no matter if it's a palmpad or an apron. They refuse to let you pay for this, even when you want to.

Saria- Saria often ends up reading at the diner during her lunch break, since she doesn't have a lot of time to read during the rest of the day. You've started inviting her to read in the kitchen while you cook for her, since there's often so many people in the diner during lunch.

Setteth- Setteth has memorized the signs of you being sad, as well as the things that makes you feel better. He often distracts you by telling you fun facts about the flora and fauna of his home planet.

Shiwoo- When Shiwoo notices that you've had a bad day, you often end up watching romance serials with him and Tiny on his couch. He makes sure that you have lots of blankets, snacks, and drinks.

Vega- Vega often draws you when visiting you at the diner. She's often very embarassed of showing her art to you, but she shows you anyways. You have some of her sketches of you on the wall of your kitchen.

According to the latest kickstarter update, Emanuelle Heikens, the lead artist and writer for latmwd, is dealing with a medical emergency. Because of this, they’ve paused the production of the game. This update was published on February 14. So if you’re not a kickstarter backer and you’ve been wondering what happened to the second in-game week, this is probably what happened. We will still get the second in-game week as far as i know, development is just paused and it’s not really anyone’s fault.
