Christopher had much he was supposed to fear, but it didn't mean there was any fear there in him, he'd spent a lot of his life on the streets as a lad and it had hardened him up in ways a lot of people wouldn't even know. When he looked at Farrah, though, he knew to be wary, he'd heard a few stories of his own and even she, herself, had told him that she was insane and probably not be trusted. Not that Christopher was planning on trusting her.
Though, he was amused to hear that he wasn't the only one who had mistaken her for a vampire, he hadn't been so sure about it, actually, whether she was or not, because when he'd met her, she definitely didn't seem like a vampire and the comments about biting had really confused him at first. She was a witch, though, and he knew well enough that witches liked to play games. However, he was not there to play any of them. He supposed if he had to he would play along, he wasn't interested in having friends, not with supernaturals anyway. He was disgusted by Werewolves, Shapeshifters were nice enough he supposed and Vampires, oddly enough, amused him to great lengths.
He'd noticed her glanced to his walking cane and actually blushed a little, lifting it and then tapping it down against the trail they were following. "I suppose you're thinking this is a little odd, it's kind of a habit now. It was my fathers cane and I started to use it when I broke my leg a few years back, just to help support my leg, and now... I think I've grown rather fond of the weight of it in my hand."
Leading Farrah through the woods, only on the trail he knew, because he hadn't been around town long enough to memorize the entire forest yet. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be, he was only really here for the story now or he would of left already, again. He wasn't much of one for staying in one place for long, though, that was mostly likely because he got into trouble a lot.
Turning his attention back to the witch currently at his side, Christopher smiled at her and went silent for a moment, considering his words carefully. He wasn't afraid to ask or anything, but didn't want to rush into it so it seemed like he was only after the story because that wasn't the entire truth, he was curious about the woman, about witches. Finally his olive green eyes met hers and he paused in his steps to properly look at her. "I was told about this war going on, the other day," he told her as he got them walking again, looking around as he spoke.
"Now, I'm not one for wars, but this one has got me curious. Do you have any idea what's going on and why?" he asked her curiously.
