“Ugh, could this thing just stay up? Jeez… You would think with - ugh - all the cameras I have to deal with, I could get them to - come on - work with me!”
There are more sounds of frustration as…
Haya.
Yes.
There are more sounds of frustration as Haya works with the camera, until suddenly, the camera miraculously stays up. They do a small fist pump with a quiet “yesss” as they wander away from the camera, sitting in what sounds like a rolling chair, the darkness working well to keep them mostly out of view.
“Okay… Hello! I’m-”
… Haya cuts themself off as they realize the camera is still not quite angled correctly.
“Come on! God, how am I supposed to do this stupid response thing if I can’t get my camera to-”
Haya readjusts the camera for the final time, the angle finally correct. They realize then how zoomed in the view is, and fix it to where they’re a good enough distance away from the camera. Maybe a bit too far back, but they figure too much space is better than not enough.
“That’s more like it. I can work with this.”
Haya breathes out a sigh of relief as they sit back, getting comfortable as they begin to properly speak.
“Uh… Heya, Haya here? I guess? Jeez, it sounds stupid to say it out loud compared to typing it out… Anyway, hello. I’m pretty sure nobody here knows me too well, so this probably won’t be anything spectacularly popular. I’m Haya, if you couldn’t tell. You may have seen me around a couple askblogs on here. I finally got around to making my own. This should hopefully keep this place stable for at least a little while… Trust me, watching your section of the world crumble in isn’t pleasant, so just work with me here to keep me from falling back into the void, would ya?”
… Haya is silent for a moment, as if deciding something, then they speak again.
"Y'know, I guess technically that would give an acquaintance of mine and I something in common. I never thought of it like that…"
… Haya sits in thought for a moment, then pulls themself together with a head shake.
"Anyway, my whole thing is that I play games. Like a lot. As in I play them often. God knows I could use some fresh games though… not to mention the updates I'm missing out on. Been real rough trying to avoid spoilers on here, haha. But of course, that's nobody here's fault. If I could just find a way to get my hands on the newer chapters of Deltarune… Ahem. Right. I should probably say what all I do know."
Haya takes a deep breath, then immediately lets it back out, deciding against their rant.
"Actually, I'll just list the main ones for everyone's sanity's sake. My top three games I play are, in order from least focused on to most: Undertale, Five Nights at Freddy's, and Deltarune. I've been on more of a Deltarune kick lately due to…"
… Haya pauses once more, and when they speak again, their voice sounds a bit more flat than before.
"Due to the blog on here I've interacted with the most recently… But anyway!"
Haya pushes their thoughts away to focus on the task at hand.
"If anyone is curious about me at all, my inbox is open for business, I guess. Don't be shy. I don't bite. Usually."
Haya's smile is audible in their tone of voice when they tack on the last word before ending the recording.
