What if Turlough left his Black Guardian communicator thing lying around and Tegan found it and thought that it was the top of a tap (because that’s exactly what it looks like) and then installed it in one of the TARDIS bathrooms and then the Black Guardian had to materialise in that bathroom every time he wanted to give murder advice

Turlough frantically tore his room apart looking for the crystal. Where was it? He’d only set it down for a moment, surely it hadn’t gotten up and walked off. Perhaps it was in the console room…

As he walked down one of the TARDIS’s many corridors, he heard a familiar angry voice call out “TURLOUGH-” followed by an even louder scream. He paused for a moment, then ran towards the source of the sound, fearing the worst. It had come from one of the TARDIS bathrooms.

Nyssa had gotten there first and was trying to calm down Tegan, who was dripping wet and wrapped in a shower curtain. The Doctor entered shortly ahead of Turlough and nearly tripped over the body that was sprawled across the tile floor. Next to it was a metal towel rack ripped from the wall with quite a few dents in it.

“Tegan, what’s…is that the Black Guardian?!”

“I don’t know!” she screamed. Nyssa put her arms around her and rubbed her back.

The Doctor looked from the body to Tegan and back again. “It’s him.” He quickly examined the body. “But he’s dead! You’ve bashed his skull in!”

“What the hell am I supposed to do when some pervert with a dead bird on his head barges in on me in the shower?! He just burst right out of that fancy tap!” The Doctor just stood there gaping at her. “And what’s wrong with him?” Tegan asked, indicating Turlough.

He’d collapsed in the doorway in a fit of laughter.

people who get mad about tegan jovanka are so funny bc if you were about to start a well paying job with qantas and then your aunt got killed by a goth with a terrible beard, and then some curly-haired bloke in a long scarf took you off into outer space, died and turned into a neurotic blonde twink, and made you hang out with a space princess, the one person in recorded history who likes calculus (who subsequently gets killed and you're supposed to just move on), and a redhead public schoolboy who secretly wants to kill said blonde twink, and also you got possessed by a snake who's the embodiment of evil in buddhist mythology twice, i don't think you'd take it as well with she did
