Happy "Gotcha Day", Mary! On a whim I decided to take home a sad little Chihuahua that had been handed in from a bad home situation to the safety of my vet. You've come a long way from being the scared, skinny little dog crying in the back of my car. Today you enjoyed a walk in Portlick with your friends and had steak for dinner. We already celebrated Irish Mother's Day when I visited back in March, but as it's U.S. Mother's Day, I'd like to send a shoutout to Betty Molloy, who exists nowhere on social media. She adopted her Toby back in November after losing a month earlier, and less than a month later was hit by a drunk driver on her way to work. She is, and remains, a fighter. When she gets better she can't wait to fight for victims of drunk driving accidents and rescue dogs, because that's how she rolls. #adoptdontshop #mothersagainstdrunkdriving (at Petco Middletown Ct)
