I feel like both Drayton and Kieran fit a "bisexual loser" kinda trope but they're on like... opposite ends of the spectrum.

One of 'em is a nervous wreck. He's sweet but has absolutely zero rizz. The other thinks he's got charm but gets zero bitches, because he, in fact, has zero rizz as well. He's actually just being stupid and making an absolute fool out of himself.
